“A friend and I met for lunch at Metro Diner between Orange Park and Jacksonville FL….. neither of us had been …..it’s total comfort food….. Our choice was Shepherd’s Pie….. a generous portion… actually had the second portion for my dinner. A bright, lively atmosphere. We will both be returning customers.“

“I just had the best bacon egg and cheese sandwich! It comes on a croissant, and it is huge! And tasty! I had a choice of sides with it, would have preferred just the sandwich, but I chose the fruit. I will eat the fruit later, but it looks fresh and tasty. I actually ordered two, but the first sandwich was extremely filling, the second will be supper. The price is not bad for what you get, $8.99 for the sandwich and side. I had mine delivered and I didn't have to wait forever to get it. I highly recommend Metro Diner on Roosevelt Blvd.“

“If you ever want to eat out and still feel at home, this is the place. Everyone was so friendly and the place has that "home town" feel to it. This was my second time here and it was just as amazing as it was my first time. My server mentioned that everything is made from scratch and you can tell. The food was amazing. I need to return and try the lunch/dinner menu and I'll update the review when I do. Definitely, worth a stop if you are close.“

“Def going back! Welcoming staff and delicious food and great portions! We had the hot honey wings def recommend. Great sized wings packed with delicous flavor! We also ordered the red velvet waffles ? . Great options for breakfast and lunch diverse menu. Excited to go back and try new dishes! ????“

“Consistently great food and service. On my most recent visit in March 2024, we were a table of 6 arriving in the midst of the post-church breakfast crowd. Hostess estimated a 15-20 minute wait; we were seated in 15 minutes. The food was outstanding and plentiful. Strongly recommend.“
