“Long overdo. Had a gathering of Veterans and those that appreciate Veterans on Veterans Day (you are invited). I was expecting 4, hoping for 6 (late notice). Over 25 showed up. Tables were put together by manager Rick and waitress Mary Ann. Speaking of Mary Ann. I gave her no notice and it was already crowded. She didn't miss a beat. Fast and efficient, don't know how she did it. I can't say enough. Hope to see you all next Veterans Day and Memorial Day at the Hive.“

“We had the pleasure of dining last night at Amar Mediterranean Bistro, and incredible would be an understatement. From the the initial warm greeting we received from the hostess, to the top shelf waitress (Sara) who was not only friendly but extremely knowledgeable of the menu and wine list. The menu is incredible and I would be hard pressed to believe that anything plated would be less then perfection. My only warning is you better go with an empty stomach because your first bite will definitely draw you in!“

“Sunny South Florida spring is all about enjoying the outdoors and sharing a good meal with family and friends. Driftwood was the perfect place to do both. They have a nice beer, cocktail, and wine selection. One of my dinner companions chose the Copperpoint Bees Squeeze - a light beer, perfect for the warm breezy evening. To start, I really wanted to try the fried chicken oysters while others wanted to try to the beef empanada, so why not both? The chicken was moist, perfectly fried, and the mac & cheese spaetzle was out of this world, especially with the tang of the few pickle slices on the plate. The beef empanada really hit the spot - it was a great combination of the fried dough, succulent meat, and pickled onions. We had to order two, because one is too little to share between three people. In no time, our main entrees arrived by really knowledgeable and friendly staff. We couldn't keep our forks out of the others' dishes, because all were so different and delicious. The rigatoni had just the right amount of bite and every crevice of the pasta was covered in a delicious bolognese sauce and sharp cheese. The chicken and dumplings brought me back to growing up in Tennessee (except this dish was better!). You know how you get a plate of chicken and dumplings and there's never enough dumplings? Not this time. The dumplings were plenty, the chicken was moist and tender, the sauce was seasoned just right, and the celery and parsley leaves gave it a really bright flavor. And finally, the shrimp and grits was hearty with large shrimp well-cooked, smothered in a slightly spicy sauce. I could eat that plate for breakfast lunch and dinner... every day. We were all very happy with all aspects of our meal, and look forward to trying the dishes that we gawked at all night at other people's tables!“

“As always from making the reservation until paying the bill the place is awesome. We had the octopus appetizer, then my wife had a salad and I had oysters. All were amazing. For dinner my wife had the filet which was cooked to perfection as was my bone in ribeye. Our sides were had the brussel sprouts and the tater tots and they were equally as tasty. They gave us a complimentary cheesecake as we were celebrating or 22nd wedding anniversary. The staff is attentive, the food is fabulous and being in downtown Delray is always fun. “Very cool bar in the Breakers resort. I stopped in for lunch once when staying at the Breakers for the weekend and ordered the fish tacos. The tacos were great…but I have to say that even for a resort which is obviously on the high end, this place was ridiculously expensive. 1 order of fish tacos and a club soda cost $65 with the tip which was automatically added in.“

Last 2 nights Ive had the Tagliolini Carbonara with the original authentic ingredients of Guanciale Pecorino and NO CREAM PEAS OR BACON. Tonight I had some black truffle delicately shaved on to the Carbonara which was deliciously decadent.. Chef you are a culinary God amongst men Grazie!! Favoloso!! Incomprable!!“

“Had our anniversary dinner at Bimini on a Tuesday night. The place was packed. Mark ordered the NY strip and lobster, I ordered the Mediterranean style Chilean Sea Bass. The food was excellent, the wait staff was attentive. The manager was especially attentive. We had a later reservation so I missed the white chocolate bread pudding (my favorite) for dessert but Cheryl, the manager, suggested the apple crisp-excellent. What a memorable evening. Will be back soon for the bread pudding.“

“Went for lunch. We ordered the short rib and a pasta dish. The rib was meaty, tender and a nice portion. The pasta came with 3 scallops and 3 small shrimp. I understand charging top dollar because of the location, I don't understand top dollar and small portions.“

Nothing weird, but everything imaginative. Executed flawlessly, including service. Had a wonderful Chablis off their reasonably priced and well curated list. Casual and funky decor. Two brothers run the show. You almost never see this level of dedication to cuisine. If you like Applebees or think bronzino is exotic, or want to pose at the bar like Cafe Europe, this isn't for you. But if you love ingredients and take deep pleasure in the unctuousness of a tomato sauce with (not too much) rosemary or the perfect sear on a filet of snapper that was swimming a few miles east just yesterday, you won't find better anywhere near.“

There local beer on tap is always on special, The steamed shrimp were nice large size, right amount of spice, and nice & hot too peel and eat snap when you bite into them.,. “I'm so heartbroken over what happened at Cafe' Frankie's. I loved working there as a Hostess/ Helper/ Server, from Feb 17th till last week. Tom (an owner) explained after telling me no one gets fired during the slow season, that schedules just get evenly dispersed so as to keep it fair. Instead, I was blindsighted the next day me when it was announced in a group chat that the next week's schedule had been changed. I myself had five shifts scheduled for that week. The new adjusted schedule did not even have my name on it. Point is I was making $x amount per hour and they just don't want to pay me. I worked so hard and I looked so well-kept every time I worked. Customers asked me if I was an owner and were surprised when I laughed no. They said I compliment the establishment and really help everyone out on every level. I put my all into it. I ran food, hostessed, expedited, served occasionally, made desserts, came in on my days off when they called me, did the washing of linens in the evening so they'd have them the next day. Handled reservations. Took to go orders, put them together, swept the floors, ran ice, did side work, bussed tables, even washed dishes and took payments when servers were backed up and needed help. I smiled at every employee and customer at every shift. I mean they cut me out in a group chat and put it all on the GM. Do they just dislike good human beings? They just took away 5 shifts of mine and said in a group chat that the schedule had been modified. I am so sad and want to let Tom and Steve, the owners, know the blow was low and it hurts.I have to go in for 1 more weeks pay and I will walk in with my head held high, being my beautiful self and I will still feel love for their restaurant.Because although they were wrong, I truly love Cafe' Frankie's and I can't change that. I never called out, yet when my mom had an unexpected stroke....when I ASkED you if I could go to her side, Tom said, "aw man, Michelle. “Absolutely the best oxtail I ever had. When they’re closed and want to see if any other place comes even close I end up having to recook the oxtail for hours or not even eat it.. they set the standard of flavor and texture at an unbeatable level. I crave their oxtails atleast once a week& I don’t just eat any flavored food. I never liked oxtail before I tried theirs. Outstanding cooking skills from the bottom of my heart bless your hands. When I eat their oxtail I rave about it to my clients & friends for days I’m obsessed. Work of art in food. I’m so grateful I came across such delicious Jamaican food.“

“Whilst on vacation in Florida, this place came highly recommended. I had a two course meal. My starter: Crab cakes, healthy portion and very tasty. Main: Chilli n ginger prawns, added sides of sweet potato fries and spinach. Both were amazing! Had to finish this off with a rum punch. The punch was not so kicking, could've done with the Godfather of white rums - Wray & Nephew! Overall good food, very attentive staff and a lovely ambience.“
