I traveled from Palm Beach County and it was well worth the drive. I got the Lemon Pepper Jumbo shrimp and a side of fries and the food came out in a timely matter. 5/5 across the board! I would definitely recommend!“

“We ate here last night after arriving in town. They had a great atmosphere with an awesome music entertainer out front. We ordered the family plate of tacos which feeds 2. There is a taco on there called birria! Oh my goodness! Get that!!!!! We were told it’s someone’s family recipe. We ordered more and will go back to get more during our trip. The only reason I left off one star for service is when we asked if any of the food on our plate contained flour we were told no (I’m gluten free), we found that the fish tacos were fried in batter, so are not GF. My new husband noticed it so I didn’t eat that one. Otherwise the service was very friendly. Restaurants make sure you know what gluten is and which food contains it. For someone with gluten intolerance one meal with gluten can ruin their whole week. But again, much love to this place - we will go back! ❤️“

“I never knew about Velvet Taco I just happened to be walking by I had no money and I was starving. I went in and asked for something to eat. The manager was absolutely the greatest person on this earth He gave me something to eat and asked what I wanted I chose chicken and waffles. I love this restaurant and that is the only restaurant I purchase and order my food from. Thank you so much for your kindness and beautiful heart because now I am a loyal customer.“

“We came for Taco Tuesday (a great deal btw) and ended up trying several different tacos. They were all amazing and we finished up with delicious churros. Highly recommended. The ingredients were fresh, the servers were fast and friendly, the music was great. Five stars. Especially impressed with Carolina who made us feel instantly welcome and recommended the best things on the menu.“

“Beautiful CLEAN place. Friendly staff. Food is made to order, nothing frozen except for the Daiquiri's ;). Desserts are Flan, churro with Nutella and I believe a Nutella burger. I have never had chicken tenders and fries this good, tacos yum. If you are in the area it is a must try.“

“This place is absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere is very nice. The decor inside and outside was bright and energetic. They had swing seats that were adorable and fun. I had the birria tacos as well as the chips and Pico de Gallo. The chips were made in house and tasted phenomenal; so crisp. The birria tacos were soooo good. They were packed full of flavor and paired well with the sauces. I highly recommend going here. The only downside is that they do not accept cash; it is card and online payments only.“

“I honestly do not know where to start the food is amazing the owners are just incredible very sweet and very hospitable there is live music every Saturday Antuan Nunez is the singer. We had dinner there Saturday night and we are definitely going back I highly highly highly recommend it it was so much fun and I could say it is the best Spanish food I have ever had!!!The Churrasco steak , the appetizers and even the chips and salsa are honestly the best!!! My son had a delicious cheeseburger with fries and he loved it!!! If I could give them 1000 stars I would we had a great time and I am looking forward to going there again!!!! “The food is very good, it is closer to a more homemade flavor and makes a good attempt at Mexican food, since for example the chile rellen tasted very similar, but not the tacos al pastor. In general the food is very good and they have a quite varied menu. Very delicious sauces and affordable prices, we will probably return. It also has a store, with mostly Mexican products. The girls who serve are very nice.Parking: Although it is free, there are very few spaces and they are also shared with other businesses.“

“I’ve had lots of street tacos from many different places and these were great. I always get the carne asada tacos wherever I go because I just really like em and that’s what I got here. Super affordable, only $3 per taco (that’s how it should be). The meat had great flavor, wasn’t dry, had a good amount in it, cilantro and onion well you can’t really mess that up, and the sauces were good. If you like bathing your tacos in lime and hot sauce like me I’d advise you ask for extra“

“I had a great experience today. My wife and I came in for Cinco de Mayo. The food was good and the drinks are good. My wife got confused on her order and ordered the wrong taco. Angel was our bartender and he replaced the taco with no questions asked. We look forward to coming back soon thank you Angel.“

“A Taco is fantastic. The food and drinks were unique and delicious, the service was great, and everything was more than affordable. We had a family dinner here yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The Plantain Chicharron and the mixed Peruvian chicken taco/Bao were my favorites. There are asian influences here through the Peruvian side of the fusion that make this place very unique. Highly recommend giving it a try.“

“Can't say enough about how amazing this place is. We found it entirely by accident one night trying to find a place to eat before a play at Broward Center. It was amazing. Went back last night with a group of friends after our son's band finished a gig and it was just as amazing as I remembered. The service was amazing, the food is off the charts good and I love the atmosphere and decor. We can't wait to go back. All of our friends said same. Highly recommended!
