“Just had Sunday Brunch with my wife and 8 year old son. They had never been and I hadn't been for almost 20 years (I've been living out of state). It was as good as I remembered. Our server, Amanda, was fast, friendly and competent. The atmosphere was spot on and so was the food.I had the full Irish breakfast and was very satisfied. My wife had the Meg's benedict and enjoyed it, even my son who is normally picky, really enjoyed his waffle and bacon. My wife and I both had coffee that was good and I had a Guinness draft. Prices were reasonable, even in these inflationary times.We will return would recommend to others.”

“I took a friend for pizza today, it was a fairly wonderful experience. Service was great out the gate, very attentive server, the pizza was delicious. she got the mushroom, I got the Riccardo! Then I spilled a glass of water all over the table. I cleaned it up best I could with the napkins on the table. The server came by at one point to check on us, I let him know I'd spilled water and cleaned it up as best I could. He said, no big deal it's raining outside. Never cleaned it up, even brought the check 15 minutes later and laid it next to and on the spilled water. Everything up until the spilled water was great. I just cannot wrap my head around the lackadaisical behavior, not only by our server but the other 2 servers who stopped by to check on us. Perplexed to say the least.”

“If I could review this place 10 stars, I would. I'm from Miami so ive been to nearly every brunch place. This place blows every single one out if the water. From the atmosphere, friendly staff, and food quality, I will make the trip up here just for breakfast. I had the cuban eggs Benny and it was cooked PERFECTLY. I also had a watermelon Mint mimosa that made me never want a regular mimosa again. Best thing about this place is that breakfast AND mimosas is served all day .”

With Korean entrees they will bring you many small dishes of different vegetables as well as lettuce and sauce. Taste them and mix into your dish as you want or eat separate. The lettuce is to be used as a wrap if you would like. Very good food. The red labeled spicy items are not very spicy but do have a kick. A great variety of food, lots of things to choose from.”

“Tandoor Indian Cuisine, 6300 N. Wickham Rd. Melbourne, FL 32940 3- Stars Many people take up golf upon retirement, while others shuffleboard at a retirement village (gestures at the entire state). What did I do? I took it upon myself to provide unadulterated food reviews for the Space Coast of FL at no charge to you, the reader. I’m just that kind of guy. Since I didn’t have a tee time, I tended to lounge around a bit, wrapped snugly in the family counterpane. However, the name generator told me it was time to get to work. Dislodging myself from the spread, I grabbed my keys and headed north to the Pineda Causeway (thereby putting going OTB off for as long as feasibly possible). Just north of the Causeway on Wickham Road sits the Indian Buffet Restaurant, Tandoor Indian Cuisine. Call me “late to the party,” but I had no idea we had two Indian restaurants in the county, let alone the four I found out now exist. For a comparison, this one is the Walmart of Indian Restaurants so far reviewed. The entire service staff is Vietnamese, the kitchen was 100% Mexican and the owner was Indian. Not one word of English was heard nor spoken. If they put in self-serve checkout, you would have Walmart. Our service pro today was a Vietnamese chap going by the name of Llama. As Llama’s English skills were on par with my Vietnamese skills, we worked out a point-and-grunt method of ordering that went without a hitch. How hard is it to understand “The Buffet”? This Indian buffet was filled with the ever-present and famous Tandoori chicken, butter chicken, sang, and warm naan, along with several vegetarian dishes in various curries. I never once in a million years would have guessed I would be reviewing and comparing Indian restaurants in Bree-vard County, FL. But, as the man said, “The times, they are a-changin’.” The Big Boy says, “There are better Indian buffets around; however if you are stuck in Suntree with the cold sweats for an adequate curry, stop in.””

“Love it!Excellent quality food and drinks, kitchen views, high end atmosphere, and top notch service.We were celebrating our engagement, so they seated us in the closest booth to the kitchen window where we could watch the chefs work their magic.We ordered the beef tartare for an appetizer and the dry aged bone in ribeye with the special steak board, all to share. We love to eat but we had SO MUCH left over. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare as we requested.We had no room for dessert, but they gave us a complimentary homemade ice cream scoop which was truly delicious and tasted very freshly made. They also gave us a complimentary homemade yuzu limoncello that I would happily buy bottled if I could, it was unique and tasty.Overall we had such a wonderful experience and now we want to come back the next time we have a special occasion.Let me tell you, you certainly get what you pay for here. It was refreshing to find a restaurant like this in Brevard.”

“While in town for a conference, our hosts took us to the Chart House for dinner on Wednesday, 5/8. As we were a large group, we did not have a selection of soup, salad or dessert, but we were given 3 options for the entrees. Additionally, the restaurant provided each table with 2-3 different appetizers (2 of each - 1 for each end of the table), all of which were excellent. The food was outstanding, but the service was a little slow - which is understanding as we were a party of 40. The atmosphere was nice, but it seemed a little more upscale and not quite a relaxing place that you and your friends won’t get nasty looks from other customers for being too loud.Other than those few issues, the Chart House has excellent food, a nice upscale atmosphere, and the service is solid.”

The servers did a wonderful job in spite of probably being a little short staffed. And I'll never be able to say enough wonderful things about Olga. She wasn't our assigned server, but was so sweet and personable. She went out of her waybon several occasions to make surenwebwere being taken care of. She made the event a huge blessing.”

I had heard such good things about this place and was very excited to try it.We started off with the fish dip, which we could have stopped at there. Highly recommend. Good portion size and the extras are very good also. Love the pirate chips that came with. We went on to have the swordfish entree, ahi poke bowl, and the Buffalo chicken sand with fries. It's all very tasty and fresh tasting. It had been many years since having swordfish, I was impressed with the freshness and serving with rice. I can vouch for the rest as well. Because I got a taste of each, considering this was my first visit. All very good and fresh!The service was fantastic, and the staff all worked together as a team in getting the food and drink out to the tables. This proclivity might make perfect sense, if Brevard County were home to an overwhelmingly large Asian community but alas, it is not. I arrived very early Monday morning, and I'm quite certain that fish is not delivered on Sundays. Therefore, I can confidently deduce that the tuna used in both the bowl, and the sushi were lovingly stored with care. Remarkably, the tuna tasted as if it had been caught this very morning and filleted to perfection. Both the tuna poke bowl, and the tuna avocado roll were excellent. I will submit, however; if the ever dreadful, and assuredly cardialgia inducing seaweed salad had been withheld from the tuna poke bowl as requested, this had potential to be a five-star review. Big Boy Says, "If you learn how to say no to seaweed salad in either Thai or Chinese, there is a five-star meal waiting."”

“What a cool brewery in the heart of Melbourne, FL. Hubby and I always enjoy supporting small businesses and we were happy to check this one out. Hubby enjoyed the IPA beer options so much here that he was able to order them while dining out. The staff was nice and the locals indulged us in conversation at the bar area - reminiscing about the good ol Florida gator sports days. Always nice to meet fellow alum. “I have never had a sub from Jimmy John's, no locations near my house. Stopped by at lunchtime, they were very busy - especially the drive thru. I went inside so I could study the menu choices. They have many different sandwich size choices, I always go with a small lunch so I chose the "Lil John" Tuna. It was plenty big, perfect size for me, and good value for today. All ingredients were very good, the bread, tuna and veggies- very fresh taste. Good bread, not like that other Sub place with the weird bread - you know who /;I did not get cheese - they only have Provolone!!! Literally the most tasteless waste of calories cheese there is! (unless ripe and aged of course) at least have Swiss and American please. I had to ask for S&P, they do not put it on the sub. Service was fast but not super friendly, just blah - maybe too busy for that. I am speaking, of course, about the 905 Cafe in the Historic Arts district of the sprawling metropolis that is downtown Melbourne, FL. The first thing that struck me as I entered and approached the counter for service was the fact that 905 has somehow kept the same ambiance for over 20 years. Not sure how they do it, but if they could bottle it and sell it, they could make a fortune. After placing my order for an Egg Salad sandwich on marbled rye and a Chicken Salad on fresh greens with the pleasant, attentive, on-the-ball counter staff, I noticed patrons comfortably seated upon antique chairs dining with utter enjoyment on the fare offered and I couldn't help but think that if Paris Hilton or her ilk (tall, skinny blondes with purse poochies) were living in Melbourne, FL. this is where they would dine. This is the kind of place that people in Hollywood go to see and be seen. The ambiance is sophisticated enough to draw their crowd, yet homey enough for the average tourist from Nebraska. Again, if they could bottle this...Anyway, I digress, back to the task at hand. My order was plated artfully and placed on a tray with a smile awaiting my pick up. I enthusiastically grabbed it off the counter and tried to casually walk to the nearest table as my eyes devoured the feast in front of me and my olfactory senses became overwhelmed with the scent of freshly baked bread wafting up from my tray. The marbled rye was still warm from the oven and had that springiness of freshly baked bread while the crust was a perfect mix of firmness and chewiness that is a must in a good bread. The taste of the bread alone was exquisite, add to that the made to order egg salad and I was in the sandwich equivalent of Valhalla (Skol!). After making the delicious egg salad disappear in a matter of moments, I moved on to the Chicken Salad Salad. As with the Egg Salad, their Chicken Salad is made to order, none of that half hour old stuff out of a bucket for these guys. It was perfectly made to the right degree of creaminess and sat majestically atop a bed of freshly selected baby Spring greens all topped with hand cut fresh strawberries and real, honest to YiaYia, goat's milk Feta. The Big Boy says, "whether you are a high-society, stilettos in the sand wearing, purse puppy toting fashionista or a surfer from Beachside in baggies, a T-shirt and flops looking for a sophisticated dining experience with delicious, made to order, better than down-home cooking, head on over to the 905 Cafe. You do, however, have to leave Princess Buttercup at home. Health codes and all..”

Never cleaned it up, even brought the check 15 minutes later and laid it next to and on the spilled water. Everything up until the spilled water was great.
