“I have never had a sub from Jimmy John's, no locations near my house. Stopped by at lunchtime, they were very busy - especially the drive thru. I went inside so I could study the menu choices. They have many different sandwich size choices, I always go with a small lunch so I chose the "Lil John" Tuna. It was plenty big, perfect size for me, and good value for today. All ingredients were very good, the bread, tuna and veggies- very fresh taste. Good bread, not like that other Sub place with the weird bread - you know who /;I did not get cheese - they only have Provolone!!! Literally the most tasteless waste of calories cheese there is! (unless ripe and aged of course) at least have Swiss and American please. I had to ask for S&P, they do not put it on the sub. Service was fast but not super friendly, just blah - maybe too busy for that. “Planet Grilled Cheese, Melbourne Square Mall, 1700 West New Haven Avenue, Suite 385, Melbourne, FL- 3-Stars The first time I ever encountered a restaurant dedicated solely to grilled cheese sandwiches I was in Providence, Rhode Island and was totally blown away. So, imagine my excitement when I saw that Planet Grilled Cheese replaced Subway in the food court at Melbourne Square. This franchised gem is not going to win any culinary awards, but they do quickly and competently prepare a grilled cheese. These slightly above average sandwiches might have curbed my enthusiasm, but as classic comfort food goes, these handhelds still comforted. I should point out that the cashier thought I was secretly recording her. I ask you, is there anything quite as refreshing as encountering schizophrenia in a company representative? I’m not sure what I did to make her so cagey. I tried coaxing a smile from her with no luck. But getting back to the food. I ordered the Four Cheese Melt, described as having “All-Natural Cheddar, Mozzarella, Provolone and American.” Next came the Chicken Bacon Ranch, billed as containing “American, All-Natural Cheddar & Mozzarella, Antibiotics-and-Hormones-Free Grilled Chicken, Smoked Bacon, and Creamy Ranch.” Last was the Ultimate Club, indicated to be comprised of “American, All-Natural Cheddar, Antibiotics-and-Hormones-Free Grilled Chicken, Smoked Bacon, Fresh Lettuce, Vine Ripe Tomatoes and Mayo. This might be just your simple, basic, frozen reheat chicken and bacon, but for fast food, this place is a notch above your run-of-the-mill burger joint. Nothing great, nothing bad. All sandwiches on the menu (like those made at this spot by Subway before Planet Grilled) are touted as being served on locally baked bread. The Big Boy says, “If you are hankering for a grilled cheese sammie, Planet Grilled Cheese is a solid choice. No harm, no foul. Just don’t make eye contact with Ally.”“

“I had a minor issue with my sub today during what I know was a busy lunch situation, and the manager of the store took the time to call me and personally apologize for the issue. He was so kind and said they'd use it as a learning opportunity. You don't see customer service of that level these days anymore. Really amazing!“

“Ordered a sub through the Jersey mikes app and it was subcontracted to DoorDash. Unfortunately, my sub never made it to me. The doordasher had an incorrect address on his end, so he delivered the sub to the wrong address. I texted asking if it was delivered (doing no-contact deliveries due to COVID-19) and he said yes. I hadn’t received it and that’s when he realized he had a different address. He drove back to the house he delivered it to, but the homeowner had already eaten it. He let me know what happened and spoke with DoorDash about it but I never heard back from him or from DoorDash about a refund or another sub. Called Jersey Mikes on Palm Bay road and had the pleasure of speaking to Megan, one of the owners. She refunded me my money, and had Douglas, after he got off work, deliver a new sub to my door with 2 cookies! Thank you so much for fixing a mistake that wasn’t made on your end! As someone who works long hours at the hospital during this crazy time, I truly appreciate you guys going above and beyond to make a customer happy!“

“I didn't get the name of the woman who made my sandwich for me and my daughter she was a very outgoing well figured Pepe woman and she was working 3:22/24 at 6:40 p.m. she was absolutely amazing I really felt welcomed in there it was just a really great experience. “I had just got off MSR I-95 dodging fast driving angry motorists…I had not eaten for several days, and made it into this Subway sandwich shop. I got in and fell out…Well the guys there hooked me right up, in fact they saved my life. Elevated my feet, took my boots off, loosened my belt and started an I.V., feeding me delicious subway sandwiches intravenously until I was revived! Thank you, boys! We were passing through the area and looking for lunch, since we don't have a Charley's near us we stopped. Was a good choice.“

“(11/2/2023) I came by to get a really quick lunch between meetings at the Posey Center less than 1 mile away. It was easy to get to and there was no line when I got there. It seemed a little like overkill, but there were like 5 employees waiting on me. Some must have been in training. I got the #13 Original Italian. The deli meats were indeed sliced in front of me (as the commercials say). I got it "Mike's Way" with hots, there was a lot of dramatic splashing of red wine vinegar and olive oil all over the sandwich. The sandwich transported pretty well, but get it to where you're going fast, because it's pretty "wet" with oil and vinegar (soaking through the bag). It was pretty tasty, and an I ate a whole original. I'd do it all over again.“

Italian on wheat roll with just the right amount of oil & vinegar so that bread was not soggy. Limited parking. Located in a busy strip mall.“
