Delicious Asian food served in casual atmosphere. Service was friendly.
Our server had on a “protect trans kids” shirt so I asked him if he felt they had that decision making capacity and he left. Then the manager came out and said we should leave because his whole staff is offended. True story.

None and Done: we came down to the area for a funeral. We just wanted a decent meal afterwards and we decided to try Hawkers. We were told there was a 5-10 minute wait and that they’d text me when a table for two was open. 35 minutes later I decided to walk in and ask if they had my number right because we hadn’t been called. The greeter sniped at me and said “we just don’t have enough servers and our service is slower than normal. It’s another 40 minute wait.” I replied that it would’ve been nice to have been notified and I explained that we were really hungry. I asked to be taken off the list because we were going elsewhere. No “I’m sorry” at all. Just “Ok. Bye.” Communication is a beautiful thing that this place hasn’t figured out. We won’t be back. Enjoying a GREAT meal at Burntwood Tavern!
