“The service was awesome , food was delicious for the most part I ordered a chicken piccata which was specially made by the chef it was on the saltier side and was the same cost as the Veal 38$ for a chicken piccata is a little ridiculous. Otherwise the rigatoni bolognese was absolutely delicious as well as the fettuccini Alfredo and the fried calamari .“

“The food was amazing. We had the appetizer trio of Calamari, meatball and pasta. It is large enough to share. We both had veal dishes, one with prosciutto the other with mushrooms and lobster. Also a side of sauteed spinach. It was so fresh and perfectly cooked. Lastly the ricotta cheesecake. A must. Robert, our server really made the night. He was personable and fun. This is a special restaurant that is definitely worth the visit.“

“Carrabas is always our go to for Italian near by. The food the atmosphere is great. Today we had a gentlemen by the name of Mo who was not only great but was very humble and nice. He made sure our food was to our liking and made sure we had our food in time. If places had more people like him it would be great.“

“My wife has never been a huge pizza fan and always found various places had doughs that were too heavy or toppings that just didn’t have flavor. Being from the northeast originally, I have a fondness for great pizza and being Italian, well it is something of a challenge to find really great pizza places.However, Sal’s Pizza Bar has got the formula nailed down to a science! We are so lucky to have such an amazing place near our home now that we can order from and bring home that “crunch”!The eggplant pizza is my wife’s favorite and I love the “Grandma slice”. However, order anything because Sal doesn’t have a bad item on his menu that we have tried!Thank you Sal and the team he has assembled! Let’s get a few more Sal’s around the OTown area because he has something huge on his hands!“

“I hardly ever give five stars to any location. But this restaurant is amazing. I got the cheesesteak boli and my wife got the lasagna. We also had Peroni beer, on tap, in an ice cold glass and it felt so refreshing after a long day at work. Our server is also a pleasure she is amazing her name is Jeano. The whole staff did a great job. The restaurant is very clean a huge plus in my book.“

“This place is a hidden gem in college park. We came for pizza and pasta and it did not disappoint! Our waitress was very attentive and gave great recommendations. It's a casual spot but the restaurant was nice. We ordered the meatballs as a starter and the white pizza (which was perfection) and the bolognese made with pappardelle noodles for our entrees. We can't wait to come back and bring our friends to try!“

“Host stand was great, room was very nice, table was comfortable. Food was very good flavor wise. Charcuterie App was well presented and plentiful, Carpaccio was delicious and Caesar was adequete. Pork chop was a bit small for a $47 “signature dish”, but delicious. Pasta dishes were very flavorful (Ametricana and Bolognese), but the difference in portion size between the two gluten -free pastas and the regular version of the bolognese was significant. I felt like I was being penalized for the extra expense of the GF pasta. Service left a lot to be desired. Male Server seemed hurried, and was quite forgetful of items (butter, Gf bread.) Another server (a woman) jumped in and assisted, she was slightly better. Saw the manager touch all of the tables (with the exception of ours.). He certainly stopped by the table(s)of locals, as did the Chef......if you are going to do table touches, hit them all and don't be selective. Unfortunately the above will make this a one time visit for a table of locals......overall tasty food, disappointing service and the value just isn't there.“

“I recently attended an event at the Amway Center. Arriving early I decided to grab a bite to eat on Church Street. I found a menu attached to an outside window of Cucina Pizza & Bar. The menu items were many. I chose to eat inside, although they have a large outside eating area with umbrellas. Andrew was my waiter, a very nice and knowledgeable individual. I ordered an Italian sub, and ask if it could be toasted. Jimmy the cook built me a wonderful sub, just as I ask it to be made. There was plenty of staff, and they all seemed friendly & efficient. When I go back to the Amway Center for an event, Cucina’s will definitely be my restaurant of Choice. Much success.“
