“I went on my birthday with my partner and my mother, I had a great time. We ordered some fried cheese and guava sauce as a starter and 2 piña coladas without rum. I loved them, the cheese was delicious. The meal was mofongo with fried meat, another steak and a chicken asopao. The mofongo was very good, wet, not hard. I enjoyed it, ate until I was full and took some home. Good service, good attention. ❤️“

“A top notch steakhouse in downtown Orlando. We started with escargot, which I will typically try anywhere it is being served. The escargot here was very good, served in an actual escargot dish with butter in each socket. The snails served in the butter really allows them to soak it up. I went with the tried and true 8oz fillet, which was the perfect serving for me. The sides are big enough to share between 2 people. We got the grilled asparagus and au gratin potatoes, both were excellent and prepared perfectly. For desert we went with the dark chocolate molten turtle cake and bread pudding. The chocolate cake came with this vanilla ice cream rolled in pralines which was a great complement to the cake. The bread pudding was a sweet take on the delicious bread they serve, it is very filling. The atmosphere is very relaxed and there is a nice vibe in the room. There are very high ceilings, and you can see the old architecture, which really adds to the atmosphere. This has to be my favorite feature, and one of the coolest things I have seen in a restaurant. The servers provide top notch service. They know their stuff and know how to provide excellent service that a restaurant like this deserves.“

“Great service and their menu this time of the year is absolutely wonderful. We had really good wine flights, flatbread + appetizers (great salads, crab cake, asparagus soup) then the main meal (wonderful sea bass, loin of lamb and gnocchi). Our server was patient, helpful, had good conversations (brief, not overwhelming), funny and on top of it all with our orders! Great guy!“

“Eddie V's is the place to go for special occasion. Excellent seafood, and outstanding steaks. I ordered the Parmesan encrusted soul, my husband ordered a 10 ounce fillet mignon and we shared the au gratin potatoes and BLT chopped salad. Regardless of what you order I highly recommend the au gratin potatoes. They are to die for. Ambience is classy, but a little noisy and the service is outstanding. Our server, Brittany, was excellent. I can't wait to go back.“

“Haven't been here in years but it was good as always. Very loud but it's fun. Art all over the place and artists working everywhere- painter, dancer, jewelry artist- you never know who will be there. I love app portions. You keep ordering and trying things til you are full. Did not get photo of steak skewers but they were great too. Server was attentive. Fun place.“

“The food was amazing. We had the appetizer trio of Calamari, meatball and pasta. It is large enough to share. We both had veal dishes, one with prosciutto the other with mushrooms and lobster. Also a side of sauteed spinach. It was so fresh and perfectly cooked. Lastly the ricotta cheesecake. A must. Robert, our server really made the night. He was personable and fun. This is a special restaurant that is definitely worth the visit.“

It did not disappoint. I’m very excited for future visits with friends and family. Perhaps the best authentic Mexican restaurant in Orlando. I highly recommend this wonderful establishment. “An unforgettable dining experience! From the moment we stepped into Capital Grille, we were treated like royalty. Byron, our server, was simply exceptional. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor made our evening truly special. Not only did he cater to our every need, but he also went above and beyond to make my cousin's birthday celebration unforgettable.Every bite was a delight! The oysters were fresh and brimming with flavor, while the prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella was a savory indulgence that left us wanting more. And let’s talk about the sea bass - it was beyond phenomenal, cooked to perfection and paired perfectly with its accompaniments. Each dish was like a chef’s kiss, a true masterpiece of flavors and textures that left us in awe.The management team was also outstanding, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The food was exquisite, the ambiance was elegant, and Byron's outstanding service truly elevated the entire experience. We can't wait to return!“

“From the moment we stepped inside the doors we knew we were in for a real treat. From the first greeting to farewell, the entire staff was so kind, friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Never having to wave down, or look for “our” waiter, as the entire staff worked as a team. We enjoyed our meal experience so much, we are coming back for our last meal before returning home so that we may experience more items from the menu.“

“3/3/24: Came to dine in with my two little foodies. I have to give them five stars rating.1. Superb customer service! My little man fell asleep in my arm the whole time. The server was so sweet. She tried to communicate to me in Chinese but I didn't understand a word she said. ? But she gestured to help me serve the hot food into the bowls and dishes for my daughter and me since my little man was in a deep sleep in my arms.2. I recommend the Beef Chow Fun with extra wide rice flat noodle stir fry with very tender beef. I requested no bean sprout and the kids love it.3. I recommend the há cảo. It has thin skin and well seasoned shrimp filling. Not too salty like some place makes it.4. I love the Eight Treasures clay pot. It has 8 proteins including tender chicken breast, beef, shrimp, scallop, calamari, cubed fried soft tofu, and shittake mushrooms with a brown flavorful sauce.5. I also recommend the Crab and Fishmaw Soup.9/3/22: I came for lunch with a party of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids). My friend from Melbourne wanted to try this restaurant.Pros:1. Friendly superb customer service2. Clean and cozy interior design and layout3. Highly recommend the Stir Fry Water Spinach and Clams with Black Bean SauceWe ordered the following:Dim sum items: Fried shrimp balls - our two families of three generations all thought the fried shrimp balls were on the salty side of the scale. The other items were okay, nothing stands out. Both families prefer Ha Long Bay dim sum over this place. My kids love hac cao but they didn't like this version here. Shrimp paste is on the salty side.Stir fry water spinach - the grownups all enjoyed and recommend this dish.Stir fry flat noodle with beef - It was okay, the sauce didn't stand out, has a strong soy sauce flavor. Noodle was cooked just right for the kids to enjoy.Lobster with ginger scallion sauce - lobster meat was very airy and light. Just not the season for good meaty lobster. Kirin's Court in Plano, TX still makes it a lot better for me.Clams with Black Bean Sauce - Clams tasted fresh and the sauce has a well balance taste of sweetness and saltiness. All the adults love it! I highly recommend this if you like clams. I wanted to take the leftover sauce home but my friend's dad ate it all with steamed rice. Hahaha!Overall, it's a restaurant worth trying.Kid-friendliness: They have the typical kid-friendly dim sum items.“

“A solid chain for lunch or dinner, with the usual seafood, pasta, steak/chicken, etc. There's a few hotels in the area so walkable for those folks. They have nice outdoor seating as well. We enjoyed the coconut shrimp appetizer and bean tacos. Other restaurants in the area include Landrys, bjs brewhouse, and Golden Corral. Disney Springs is also very close by car.“

“My Peruvian friend approved! We were just visiting Orlando for business and found this restaurant for dinner. The ceviche had wonderful flavor all the way down to leche de tigre—we drank it all as well. The octopus was tender and delicious, and the beer was nicely cold. I had a great experience. Thank you for the authentic food—my Peruvian friend was equally happy with our choice of dinner spot!“

“We love Bahama Breeze during our visits to Orlando. This visit we went to the same one twice during our 2 week vacation. They only got a 4 star for service as it was so variable across the 2 days. Saying that, the service was still attentive when server not busy elsewhere.Food as always was quick to the table and absolutely fabulous to me. Not sure of its authenticity to real Caribbean meals but I don’t care, it’s real good.We tried a couple of cocktails, the flight (variations on same cocktail) and the Cloud Nine. We kept going back to the Cloud Nine. Just enough juice flavours to not overpower the alcohol and set off with mango balls on top…ace“

“Papa Llama, 2840 Curry Ford Road, Orlando- 4-Stars Michelin Recommended- Bib Gourmand! Peruvian immigrants, Kevin and Maria Ruiz, say they founded Papa Llama in 2016 as an experimental pop up and opened the doors of this location in August 2020. In 2022, they earned the Michelin Guide's coveted "Bib Gourmand" award for establishments that serve good food at reasonable prices so naturally, I got excited. Paulina, my server, was well prepared and knowledgeable, making for an auspicious beginning in a gorgeous environment featuring good prices for dishes that could be made to satisfy both carnivores and herbivores alike. I ordered the entire family style menu which was, according to Papa Llama, "designed to be tasted together, shared, and fought over." So much food for just over a hundred dollars. The prices may have been cheap but the taste and quality of (most) victuals valieron un Perú! A hearty Big Boy Thank You (Sulpayki!) to Kevin and Maria and the culinary dactylograms of their ancestors, on this amazing cuisine (Somaq Mihuna!). The first item on the menu was Olives--whole green Castelvetrano olives marinated in house with aji panca--which were so delectable I could eat them all day. Next, the Red + Gold Beets, a minty beet salad with honey ají amarillo vinaigrette, queso fresco, and candied pistachio, which started out smooth and creamy and ended with a pleasantly piquant bite. Papas a la Huancaína followed, a fingerling potato dish with spicy aji amarillo cream, wakatay (black mint) salsa verde, and beef chicharron, topped with a fried egg. The potatoes themselves were not the star, but the combination of flavors in the sauce were amazing, unctuous but smooth. Papa Llama carries a long list of natural wines, more wines than food items, actually. That evening, I chose the Yuzu Sake, and may I say, "Holy smokes!" How refreshing after consuming so many peppers. The rest of the dishes I would give 4.5 to 5-Stars, EXCEPT for the side of frozen Sysco French fries which almost ruined an otherwise stellar meal. There are over 300 kinds of potatoes in Peru. Over 300! Perhaps in the United States we don't have the same abundance as found in El Valle Sagrado (the Sacred Valley) but, por favor, do not stoop to this! The Big Boy says, "Eat here. All the authentic Peruvian flavors at Papa Llama are 5-Star, but skip the fries, which are a corporate conglomerate frozen food disappointment."“
