Me and my wife decided on the star Luca and the Greta. We were thoroughly impressed with the Star Luca and its design of the star crust with ricotta cheese, spicy salami and mozzarella, elite. We also enjoyed the Greta as our only knock was that we didn't have a Greek dressing for our Greek salad. The space was that of a bistro like pizza shop. Overall, 4 G's”

She was kind of rude to me anyways so all I asked for was soy sauce for my food that I spent $100 on and she tells me oh it’s in the back so I just wanted a little extra soy sauce I do like soy sauce so when I asked for a little extra she gave me two packets and I said well can I have just a little more please and she says well how much more do you want, so I said about six or seven please and she said six or seven??? And it was so rude. She did not want to give me the soy sauce to the point where she went and asked her manager if it’s OK if I have six or seven soy sauces after I just purchased $100 worth of food absolutely not OK, especially when your guises food is so expensive how it is I cannot say that I will go and eat at this restaurant again or order from there.”

“This spot has juice, acai, grain bowls, bagels, and more! They can be found in the plaza at the corner Flamingo and Pines Blvd. I've been waiting for this spot to open up and I'm excited I got to try it after pickleball one morning. There's a lot for easy parking and right at the corner of a strip in the plaza right off Flamingo Rd. The inside is spacious but they only have mainly high top tables. They have wifi so I got to work a bit here. Their menu has a lot of variety: from protein shakes, juices, acai bowls, sandwiches, etc. I was a bit overwhelmed with choices, but in the best way! They have something for everyone and the menu has enough to keep me coming back to try more. For this past visit, I got the Goliath smoothie and also the Blaze bowl. Both were pretty good. The Goliath smoothie has 36 grams of whey protein, strawberries, almond milk, nutella, and cacao. I was a bit disappointed it didn't have much of the nutella taste. The Blaze bowl has sriracha chicken, greens, brown rice, almonds, hemp seeds, sesame-ginger dressing- it was super filling and the bowl was super deep. The items are pretty pricey but most are worth the price. Overall, a great spot for breakfast or a quick (filling) snack.”

We sat in the main dining room to hear the pianist as mom loves live music while dining. On the way out, we realized they had another pianist in the beautiful bar as well. We started with the salad (not pictured), and it was amazing with fresh parmesan, artichokes, and sundries tomatoes. It was delicious and enough for all 3 of us to try a small plate, which was perfect cause the good portions here are always generous. We also know that the cannoli and tiramisu are sending here but tried the pistachio cake for a change, and it was very light.My cousin and mom loved this place so much they both asked for the name the next day so they could recommend it to their friends to go with them next time. It's always a favorite of mine.”

They also have other bar food - tenders, sliders, fries etc. but the wings are outstanding and everyone I bring to try them says they are better than anywhere else. The beer is cheap! Half the price of other bars. The clientele are regulars and they are friendly and inviting. Everyone introduces themselves and asks your name. Two pool tables. 3 TVs. Usually 2 with sports and one with True Crime or something interesting. So if you are frugal, if you want a few beers, if you need a bite to eat, if you want to hang out and watch a game, maybe play a game of pool with some friendly neighborhood people, this is a place to go.”

We sat in a nice shaded area. Nothing took long to arrive at the table. The food and drinks were great. Our server seemed a little disengaged but he made several checks to the table which was good. A lady came with a blower on the patio while we were still eating. Horrible idea! Even though it didn’t blow dust our way it was extremely loud and took away from the experience. Despite that the food was delicious and we enjoyed this restaurant. Service wise I would say there are a few points to work on.”

We also enjoyed the Greta as our only knock was that we didn't have a Greek dressing for our Greek salad. The space was that of a bistro like pizza shop. Overall, 4 G's”
