“The food is very good, it is closer to a more homemade flavor and makes a good attempt at Mexican food, since for example the chile rellen tasted very similar, but not the tacos al pastor. In general the food is very good and they have a quite varied menu. Very delicious sauces and affordable prices, we will probably return. It also has a store, with mostly Mexican products. The girls who serve are very nice.Parking: Although it is free, there are very few spaces and they are also shared with other businesses.“

“The food was very good. Very fresh tasting. We had the guacamole salad with shrimp. We were very happy to see that we didn't have to wrangle with the shrimp to get the tails off! The guacamole and salsa were very tasty and fresh! Ice cold frosted mugs came with the bottled beer! Edgar, our server, was amazing, very attentive but not over-baring. Probably the best server we have had in the last 6 or 7 years and we eat out often. The ambience is fun, relaxing and authenticly Mexican. We will be back!“

“Wow, just wow! The tacos here are absolutely delicious, closest thing to eating tacos in Mexico. It is my second time here! 3 meaty Chicken tacos for $10 with a $4 tip, for this perfection. It's a hole in the wall and can be easily missed in the plaza. The ladies who work here are pleasant and kind. If you live locally or are visiting definitely check this place out ?“

“I never knew about Velvet Taco I just happened to be walking by I had no money and I was starving. I went in and asked for something to eat. The manager was absolutely the greatest person on this earth He gave me something to eat and asked what I wanted I chose chicken and waffles. I love this restaurant and that is the only restaurant I purchase and order my food from. Thank you so much for your kindness and beautiful heart because now I am a loyal customer.“

“If you haven't tried this food, your are missing something spectacular. I eat tacos often and I have never had tacos as delicious as these. Al pastor, Korean BBQ and Asian Orange....Holy moly guacamole they were amazing. The meat was well seasoned, the veggies fresh and the sauce superb. My daughter had the birria burrito, she said it was delicious and it was huge, so she saved some for later. Just amazing food.“

“The food is amazing. We had to try everything. So we did- one Taco with asada. One Goridita with chicken. We got the Posole (we came on the weekend, so just be advise, I think they only do that on the weekends), the Steak tostadas so freaking good. The quesadilla was amazing. Not your typical cheese and meat. There was lettuce, tomatoes, crema with cheese and Asada. Will be coming back and bringing my family.“

“I honestly do not know where to start the food is amazing the owners are just incredible very sweet and very hospitable there is live music every Saturday Antuan Nunez is the singer. We had dinner there Saturday night and we are definitely going back I highly highly highly recommend it it was so much fun and I could say it is the best Spanish food I have ever had!!!The Churrasco steak , the appetizers and even the chips and salsa are honestly the best!!! My son had a delicious cheeseburger with fries and he loved it!!! If I could give them 1000 stars I would we had a great time and I am looking forward to going there again!!!! I highly recommend it!!!“

“I had a great experience today. My wife and I came in for Cinco de Mayo. The food was good and the drinks are good. My wife got confused on her order and ordered the wrong taco. Angel was our bartender and he replaced the taco with no questions asked. We look forward to coming back soon thank you Angel.“

“The Flava zone was extremely delicious! They absolutely exceeded my expectations. The food was made fresh and by the chef himself. The hospitality and service was on point. I traveled from Palm Beach County and it was well worth the drive. I got the Lemon Pepper Jumbo shrimp and a side of fries and the food came out in a timely matter. 5/5 across the board! “This past Tues, a friend & I decided on this place for the first time and so glad we did! Started out with Chips & Queso plus $5 Pomegranate Margaritas (daily flavored margarita special). Nothing special about the margarita, good or bad. Queso is a little on the thinner side compared to other places, but tasty and adequate size. For Taco Tuesday, they had 3 Street Tacos for $12, even birria, and you can mix n match. Very plentiful amounts of meat & toppings. Plus there's a birria taco + ramen option & for the Tues special, you just add $5 for ramen. Everything was bursting with flavor. Had to take the ramen to go because I was so stuffed. Overall, amazing food, relaxed casual atmosphere, & staff were all very friendly. I highly recommend and definitely plan to go back!“

“Can't say enough about how amazing this place is. We found it entirely by accident one night trying to find a place to eat before a play at Broward Center. It was amazing. Went back last night with a group of friends after our son's band finished a gig and it was just as amazing as I remembered. The service was amazing, the food is off the charts good and I love the atmosphere and decor. We can't wait to go back. All of our friends said same. Highly recommended!
