“I brought my husband and father here for lunch, and we all were amazed by how great the food and service were! We started off with a coconut drink with a sugar cane in it (so delicious) & I had a martini that had Kalua in it (also really delicious) oysters, tuna tostadas for appetizers, my father had a burger, my fiance had the snapper, an I had the salmon salad but replaced it for the ahi tuna. It wasn't just any salad. It had corn, bean, and all kinds of stuff that made the salad extra tasty! What made this place even better was our server named Jessa!!! She was absolutely amazing!!! She's the one who helped us order and recommend our drinks and food! If you go there, definitely ask for Jessa, trust me!! She will guide you through!!! We will definitely be coming back!!“

“What a great restaurant with excellent scrumptious food. My God! Was in Tampa for my cousins funeral and wanted some Soul Food. Well my cousin from Jacksonville Florida found this place. The hospitality, kindness make me wanna move down here. Went on Friday nite May 24th and ask my cousin to take me back May 25th. Thank God for the lovely couple and lovely children. “We were in Tampa running an errand, so we decided to Google Maps a Caribbean food place near where we were and picked this place from the list. It's a tiny to-go only little place in little strip center. However, the food was Big on flavor and cooked perfectly. We got the lg goat and the lg ox-tail. It was enough to feed 4 people and was delicious. We will definitely eat there again. Oh and I would've taken pictures, but we were eating like pigs before I thought about it!“

“OMG... My husband and I just tried this place for the first time. yes... yes... yes yes yes!!!!!! When I tell you I ate ALL of my food, and I usually don't do that. We had the fried fish (escovitch style), cabbage (I wanted like a whole plate of this), peas and rice and plantains. EVERYTHING was so on point. I wish they had veggie patties (hint hint) cause I would definitely get it with coco bread since we don't eat beef or chicken anymore. I should have ordered the mac and cheese! I will next time. “Goat curry with rice, fried plantains and a side of roti. My son had the salmon and all tasted amazing. My other two kids didn’t photograph their food but it was great! Our waiter was amazing also and well educated about the menu and drinks and the amount of heat. Even suggested a safe alternative for my “I want chicken strips” 10 yr old. 10/10 we will definitely come back when in Tampa.“

“The food is great! Only problem with this establishment is the overall environment. The furniture is dirty and it appears ad if zero attention is paid to decor. I was there on a couple of occasions and the air conditioning appeared to be not working properly. There is no excuse for worn down/dirty furniture. Once that issue is handled this establishment will be known it's way to being a really good place to eat out at.“

“This is an undiscovered gem. The food was delicious and the presentation lovely. The room is beautifully decorated (although not really consistent with the Caribbean theme). However, we ended up waiting for quite a while, but what happened next really changed our impression. The food was generally tasty, but my tuna dish had slightly undercooked rice. I'm writing this not to complain, but so that you can rectify this situation in the future. Our waiter, Danny, was very attentive and polite; you could tell he cared, and it made a very positive impression. So, the service was just excellent. Then the manager came over and offered us a 30% discount, which was very pleasant and surprising because we didn't really need it. When you come hungry, of course, you get a little upset, but that's normal. They also gave us a very tasty dessert to take away, which was also nice. Overall, the atmosphere, the people, everything was great, so we will definitely be coming back here“
