“I've been a loyal customer at Los Chapos since they opened their Ybor location and frequent the food truck in Lutz close to my job. If you're familiar with the Tampa area, you know that the long line of cars on that side of 7th speaks volumes about the quality here.Last Friday, I was unfortunately in an accident on my way to pick up a pre-ordered meal before closing time. Once things settled down, I remembered to call Los Chapos and explain the situation. To my relief, they were incredibly understanding and assured me that I could get my original order at no charge once I was feeling better. They even extended an invitation for me and my family to their Cinco de Mayo event.A couple of days later, I managed to visit the restaurant, and true to their word, they welcomed me with a warm hug from the manager and my order, complete with a large horchata. The food, as always, was fresh, flavorful, right down to the jalapeño on the side. I'm immensely grateful for their kindness amidst the chaos and will continue to support and recommend this wonderful business.“

“A humble fast casual restaurant with really nice staff and the best chicken quesadilla I've ever had! This is no Americanized menu. There are tacos, quesadillas, sopes, and tamales, and each one looks better than the last. You can even have a bowl! The tortilla was crispy, the mozzarella cheese was generous, and the chicken was delicious! The chicken was chopped into small pieces, sauteed in something incredible, and had fresh cilantro sprinkled on top. Whenever I'm close by, I'll be eating here and trying their sopes next!“

“I just had a bad meal at another restaurant nearby home and I found myself asking why I didn't just grab tacos tonight (it was after 10 that's why) but it reminded me that this place is 100% great 100% of the time. I go at least twice a month smh haha. I love the Tinga tacos and green sauce but I'd also recommend the birria tacos, carne and barbacoa tacos. The nice ladies in the truck are always sweet and get your order down accurately. The nice little seating area works if you wanna eat onsite/dont mind eating at a gas station. 10/10 would recommend for quick Mexican food in South Tampa any day“

Everything in the restaurant is homemade, including their own hot sauce, it was tasty but too hot for my palate.I got elote (mex st corn), ordered 1 & devoured it so had to get another! Chips & guac were fantasticAlso got chicken tamales w/side of rice & beans & 2 house made margaritas.
