“Ponte does not disappoint! I took my husband there last night for his birthday and from start to finish, it was an amazing experience. The atmosphere is elegant and modern but not ostentatious or garish. The food and drinks were creative, expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and unbelievably delicious. And I cannot say enough about the staff. From Samantha, the hostess; Tyler, the manager; Bill, our server; and Matt, the sous chef; to the young man serving the bread and the multiple other staff who kept our water glasses full, everyone was professional, pleasant, knowledgeable and engaging. Samantha, in particular, handled a very aggressive and arrogant disgruntled man in the most diplomatic and professional manner. And this man was so aggressive that my husband and I almost intervened on Samantha’s behalf. But her diplomacy and professionalism did not waiver. To say she impressed us is an understatement. All in all, this was by far one of the best, if not the best restaurant experiences we have ever had. We will definitely return.“

“We have been a patron of Charley’s for 10 years and this is the first time we’ve chosen a dessert. The food always fills us up, but man OH man. Two words…BUTTER CAKE ? This ooey gooey masterpiece is delightful. A nice crisp on the outside with a warm center served with ice cream. Charley’s even brought out an extra dessert to celebrate our Anniversary. “I have literally waited 15 years to have this meal! The Shells in Miami closed around 2008/2009, and it was my absolute favorite restaurant - I used to go with my family at least once a month, and always looked forward to the barrel of peanuts, Shark Attack drink, and a hefty portion of snow crab legs while being surrounded by the underwater/fishing themed decor. When I came to this Shells location in Tampa, it was like I was transported back in time! This place has kept its cute marine decor and still upholds the same quality of food I obsessed over all those years ago. Since this was such a special occasion, I opted for a smorgasburg meal. We started with the Fried Calamari, crisped to golden perfection, which I washed down with a delicious Piña Colada. As a second appetizer, I had the Clam Chowder, which was so good and chock full of nice big chunks of clam meat in a creamy, salty soup base. For my entree, I had the Seafood Pasta, an incredible dish which came with a side of garlic toast to sop up all the cream sauce afterwards. I got a half pound of steamed Snow Crab legs on the side, which were the food I was most excited to have but was the only thing I was slightly let down by - the crab legs were fresh and meaty, but I could tell they had been frozen because the body meat was very cold. Nonetheless, my meal was amazing and my only regret is not saving room for dessert! Next time, I'll order the Shark Attack, try the Shrimp and Crab Dip, and get a bigger bowl of the Clam Chowder...and maybe wear some bigger pants!“

“First time eating here. Had Benjamin as our waiter. Noise was a little loud that made us have to talk louder to have a conversation. Not a big deal however it was hard to hear our waiter as he discussed the menu. Apps were great and portions were good, Bacon dates and crab salad. The fried chicken with cinnamon roll was a great alternative version of the salty and sweet chicken and waffles. Definitely recommend it. The fish and chips were good and portions were plentyful. “I brought my husband and father here for lunch, and we all were amazed by how great the food and service were! We started off with a coconut drink with a sugar cane in it (so delicious) & I had a martini that had Kalua in it (also really delicious) oysters, tuna tostadas for appetizers, my father had a burger, my fiance had the snapper, an I had the salmon salad but replaced it for the ahi tuna. It wasn't just any salad. It had corn, bean, and all kinds of stuff that made the salad extra tasty! What made this place even better was our server named Jessa!!! She was absolutely amazing!!! “On a recommendation from the Comfort Suites staff down the street I gave them a try. Wow they are right! Food is songbook, nice portion size and fair price. The Pad Kee Mao or Drunken Noodles were perfect. The right amount of sauce, not swimming in it, and the proportions of items to noodles was well balanced. Wish I had more time to go back. Owners are a husband and wife team and she is from Thailand. Cannot get more authentic than that.“

“I use to really like the Salt Shack rum runners. They changed the way they make it. Our table ordered 4 rum drinks. All of them were different. One was good three were bad, one was even made with coconut rum. I tried to call and ask if this was the new way. They do not answer their phone. One more chance“

“Costanera Tampa is a hidden gem located in the Carrollwood area. We came in for date night to experience authentic Peruvian Cuisine, which, in my opinion, will knock your socks off.I had the Lomo Saltado ( beef filet) cooked in Peruvian spices, and soy sauce (gluten-free soy sauce is available) was absolutely delicious. This is traditionally made with regular soy sauce, so if you have Celiacs Disease, it is best to inform them so they can make it with the gluten-free soy sauce instead. Although I did have the cilantro rice, I learned that it is not gluten-free after having eaten some (it says on the menu there is beer in it). Steer clear of that rice if you have a gluten allergy and opt for the white rice that is traditionally served with it. It is one of the best dishes I have ever tasted and I highly recommend it. I also skipped the French fries because of this FYI. My husband had the seafood dish Pescado lo Macho, which was a spicy gravy covering fish, shrimp, calamari, and mussels. This also was an amazing dish, I would say 5/5 for both.They also have great cocktails and non alcoholic beverages. Their pricing is really good and you get a lot of food. The restaurant is pretty big and spaced out. They have live music many nights. We actually came in on one of the nights. There was live music, and it was fantastic. Everyone was super nice at Costanera, especially the owner and his wife. The food is truly authentic Peruvian Cuisine in every sense of the word right down to the ingredients. I would highly recommend this restaurant for date nights, girls' nights, or any kind of fun night or lunch.The restaurant is located in a strip mall almost right across from the Whole Foods (you can't miss it), and there is ample parking. Below is what we had.? Peruvian Ceviche?Lomo Saltado (mine was made with gluten-free soy sauce)?Pescado a lo Macho?these came with a side of rice. We both got cilantro rice. “We arrived around 1430 on a Monday. It was not that busy, and it took a very long time to get our first drink, and the wait continued with the meals. I only saw 2 waiters, which it was not enough to satisfy the demand, hence the long wait on service. The good thing is the view: excelent ocean relaxing view that's why I keep coming back! I didn't like is that they allowed animals. I love dogs, and I own one, but there was a couple that brought their dog with no mouth restraint, and it was barking a lot. Plus, it was standing on top of the dining table, which I don't think should be allowed. It's very anti hygienic. “The food was delicious.We had a boil that had green & blue mussels, 2.5 lbs of snow crab legs, sausage, shrimp, crawfish, potatoes n corn, Mr n Mrs crab seasoning, and medium heat. Nothing was over or under cooked - tricky with a boil sometimes. Our waiter was also tending bar and didn't miss a beat. And the atmosphere allowed for conversation. We have no complaints.“

“I went by there two days ago in the afternoon for the very first time,the gentleman that took my order was very polite and kind. I wanted to get boneless wings but they were pretty darn expensive ($11 for a ten piece with no sides at all is very expensive) so I opted to get the five piece tender combo that camecame with fries that was only $7 bucks and sauced in the mild wing sauce and was amazing.huge chicken tenders and the buffalo sauce was the best I have ever had! Huge flavor with no burn,and the seasoning that were on the tenders in addition to the sauce was a fantastic addition compared to the plain tenders you get everywhere else. I see myself becoming a regular here for the tenders. Thanks guys.“
