“Staying in Tampa nearby, decided to get Thai food. Everything was prepared quick and the portion sizes were very generous. Prices are pretty good for the size too.First off, Pad Thai had a lot of flavor with the tamarind tanginess and sweetness shining through. Loved the Crab Fried Rice. It was spicy but not overpowering and the crab itself was definitely real. Helpful guest experience and from someone that is part Thai the ambience and food when I went in the evening made me feel kinda like being back home.“

“On a recommendation from the Comfort Suites staff down the street I gave them a try. Wow they are right! Food is songbook, nice portion size and fair price. The Pad Kee Mao or Drunken Noodles were perfect. The right amount of sauce, not swimming in it, and the proportions of items to noodles was well balanced. Wish I had more time to go back. Owners are a husband and wife team and she is from Thailand. Cannot get more authentic than that.“

“A nice little sushi place that’s hidden in the depths of Downtown Tampa. This place isn’t in the best condition being under a parking garage, as the floors were dirty. However, there were some redeeming points about the decor; like the mural on the wall. The service was very friendly and was quick with our food.The food here is great! I enjoyed my Crab Rangoon here. The chicken curry had a great flavor to it, as well as the rice. My sushi tasted alright, but it wasn’t excellent as the curry. Overall, would come here if you’re willing to get some Japanese food in Downtown Tampa.“

“We love Thai Island. We had a delightful dinner here before COVID and then ordered takeout from Thai Island all through the pandemic. Now, we ride our bikes over and eat on the beautiful patio. Our favorites are the following: Crispy spring rolls Satay (and their cucumber salad is amazing) Pad Thai with Tofu Penang curry with Tofu or Crispy Eggplant They have a lovely and well-priced wine menu too.“

“The food overall was mostly good to very good including the Tom Ka, chicken fried rice, Penang curry, chicken cashew, eggplant, and green papaya salad. The crunchy roll and the sexy man roll were also good.On the other hand, the tuna roll which we unfortunately ordered two servings was made with bad fish and we had to throw it out due to the rancid fish. Also, the portions of some of the dishes were laughingly small. 16oz of Tom ka container was only filled about 3/4. Some other dishes only filled 1/3 of the way.If I lived in the area I would have possibly tried to eat at the restaurant as the portions may be better there.“

“Crispy duck is really crunchy all the way to bones which we like. Seafood pad thai doesn't really taste right even though there is good amount of seafood in it. I wouldn't order again. Thai tea is very colorful and sweet for the tea. Service is good and ambience is good.“

“WHEWWWW they hooked us up. We went in around 1:30 on a Friday and it was empty, but you could tell there were online orders being picked up. We got an appetizer sampler, fried rice, and Pad Thai. They brought out complimentary soup and even gave us a banana dessert. I'm not a big fan of banana but I'll admit it was good! I don't know why it was empty, the food was incredible and service like this doesn't happen very often anymore.“
