“Fantastic food. While it may appear a limited menu, there are a number of items off menu including the street food items and daily items. That said, there's not one thing on the menu that will disappoint. The nuts are delicious and the addition of chili and fried kaffir lime leaves combine for a sublime flavor. Spiced pork and pineapple kebabs had a huge depth of flavor and spicy warmth. The crispy rice salad is probably one of the best salads I've ever eaten. The fish was amazing, cooked to perfection in a warm thick spicy sauce that was the perfect complement and more than sufficient for two. Cocktails were both strong and great. Prices excluding drinks were just over $50 each, so great value.”

“A true high end steakhouse experience. Our server, Adrian was so knowledgeable and coached us through the menu and all the treatments available for our steaks. I had a dry-aged, bone-in NY Strip with the creme' spinach and (hidden menu item) lobster mac&cheese. They brought it out from the kitchen in a hot pan, basting it the con fit butter with a charger full of burbon shallot sauce for dipping. My wife had a wet aged ribeye and shared my sides with me, ...because they were big enough to! My daughter had the seafood papadelle, the muscles were done but the shrimp undercooked. When informed, Adrian took care of her and replaced her meal. She also got the twice stuffed potatoes which turned out to be 2 giants in a cast-iron tray.My son got a steak with the truffle fries and garlic spinach. Some of our party tried the samon and the duck egg rolls and honestly the table was quite for a while ....a testament to the flavor of the food. Great food, better service! ?”

“As always, La Grotta remains one of the best Italian restaurants around. The atmosphere is classy, so please dress accordingly, as people go for both the atmosphere as well as the food/vino. The super tuscan vino is great if you are looking for a new wine to try, you can order a glass or the bottle (I recommend bottle if there are 3+ in your party it ends up being cheaper than individual glasses). The sacchetti as well as the pappardelle are both wonderful dishes. The gnocchi is cooked perfectly if you are a gnocchi fan.”

“Enjoyed a meal with family for my daughter's 30th birthday this past Saturday. The food and service were absolutely outstanding! For a special occasion, Marcel is a go-to without question, but a bit too pricey for day-to-day dining in Atlanta in my opinion. Party of 6 was just under 4 figures and I brought my own wine for the occasion, corkage of which was provided gratis, thank you, much appreciated. With that said, for a hallmark experience, Marcel is exceptional, and our evening lived up to every bit of that expectation. Nick, our primary server, was superbly knowledgeable on food, drink and wine options and super helpful in guiding each of us to a wonderful, personalized culinary experience. Melinda was excellent, too, always attentive and available, adding significantly to the experience. The rest of the serving team did a fantastic job, as well. Absolutely brilliant service from beginning with cocktails in the bar to dessert at the table. All in all, one of my favorite places to dine in Atlanta, and certainly if you are a steak fan. I would highly recommend Marcel, with the caveat that you prepare yourself for a wonderful evening, while not being surprised when the check arrives.”

“Located in Home Park we happy to see that the location was not difficult to get to. There was a parking garage around the corner however there is complimentary valet service which is always a relief. The dining room has several rooms with different views my husband and I were sat in a room full of windows which was nice. My husband and I were in for our anniversary and decided to try one of the new Michelin recommended restaurants. We came for a 5:30 reservation and left close to 8:15. The service was decent however there was several times that we said " ummmmm where is our waitress?" But I think the staff does a good job of working as a team. We started off with some drinks I got the Miller Time ( a nice light and refreshing gin cocktail) and my husband got a beer. We were very impressed with the beer menu they had lots of our favorites and was certainly a nice treat for him. For starters we had the hush puppies ( cooked well, with a chutney on top and a nice creamy sauce underneath), The Farm Baked Egg( a staple to the restaurant, deliciously creamy with outstanding sourdough toast) and, the Local Lettuce Salad( I really loved how the ingredients were the star of the show with this salad. It was by no means underdressed but it was well balanced enough that you could enjoy all of the in season veggies), for dinner I had the Pork schnitzel( I was a little disappointed by this one the sauce was unlike any I have ever had and was heavy on the citrus while the collards were difficult to eat because they were so tough, the pork itself was pretty standard although, I had always thought schnitzel was supposed to be pretty thin this was not. The dish was highly recommended but I think it just wasn't for me) my husband had the duck leg ( which was cooked very nicely and he was very satisfied with the overall dish) for dessert we were gifted some glasses of Prosecco ( very sweet to include for our anniversary) to go with the vanilla cake( very moist and was paired with island flavors), the lemon bar( pleasantly bright with a raspberry sorbet and grapefruit mouse. I loved everything about this dish there was so many bright puckery flavors but it was not overwhelming.) and, the Dessert cheese course( lovely selection on cheeses the only thing that was off to me is the strawberries were not sweet at all.... It was a little sad). I also ordered a cappuccino which unfortunately had no foam on top paired with their hazelnut liquor which was very good. All in all it was a good experience.”

“The dishes are inventive and delicious, but there were only a couple that were "wow-worthy." There were some plating issues that left me thinking if they had someone working the pass to inspect dishes before they left the kitchen. For example, for one dish I had an errant medallion of fish sitting on the rim of my plate, and during another course one of my dining partner's dishes had a "splatter" sauce as the base of the dish while the rest of us had an elegant "swoosh" of sauce. The fish and scallops were overcooked, too. That being said it was still a great experience.We did the tasting menu and I had a classic wine pairing. The pairing was hit and miss but mostly hits; there were some unexpected wines that I can only describe as a bit funky but they paired well with the dish served alongside them. The sommelier was helpful and great at fielding any questions I had. I loved all the details about each selection.The staff are kind, efficient, and helpful at every opportunity. The only feedback I have is better coordination for service is needed but this is just a minor point.We're very happy to have experienced Atlas and would recommend it to fellow food lovers as a solid option for those in the Buckhead area looking for fine dining.”

“Amazing place for some new Orleans style food. The service was friendly and entertaining. The food, although a bit on the expensive side, was very good. The portion size was small compared to the pricing. However, the quality and taste was outstanding. They automatically add a 20%tip to the bill, this is mentioned on the menu so it was not a surprise. The staff worked in such harmony that the differently earned the 20% and more.If you are looking for a place with friendly staff and great food this is the place.”

I didn't need to know the cutlery as they brought out new pieces for each course. It was the most expensive meal I've ever had ($200+/plate) so I don't recommend bringing kids! The attire was more laid back than we expected, which was also nice. S/O took off his tie. ?It was a great experience.”

Of particular note: the carrots, the mushroom ravioli, and the pork tenderloin. We love Brussels Sprouts, but theirs were undercooked to almost crunchy. The scallops were so rubbery we left one on the plate. For the price I would have expected everything to be just right. Still, we will definitely give them another try.”

“Makay Chopbar catered my wedding last weekend and everything was a hit! Our menu included jollof with veggies, spring rolls, plantains, meatpies, grilled chicken, tomato goat stew, beef suya, and egusi! We barely had leftovers and all the guests raved how flavorful, tender, hot, and delicious the food was to honor my husband’s culture. It was a joy to see folks who never had this food going back for seconds and even grabbing to-go containers.The communication was impeccable and the chef accommodated special requests for food preparation to use traditional ingredients. The team arrived on time, created a lovely display, and the servers were so friendly. They also cleaned the area very well before departing.Next time we’re in town we’ll definitely order food and even try the their shipping option to VA! “We were staying a few days in Atlanta and walked to this little coffee shop. It had been highly recommended to us by our good friends. We took our dogs and sat on the patio. I ordered a vegan biscuit and vegan sausage. A smiling gentleman brought it out, and he had given us an extra vegan, blueberry scone. Everything about this little coffee shop was so welcoming and warm. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was perfect. I highly recommend it.”

“I always love dining at O-ku. They're great about gluten-free and have a separate printed, gluten-free menu. They even have gluten-free soy sauce. I love the hamachi carpaccio, the truffle salt edamame, and marble roll. We celebrated my Mom's birthday and they brought out some mochi ice cream for everyone. I also like how their dessert menu changes. Each time I've gone (this is my 3rd time) there's always been something different. This time I tried the gluten-free japanese strawberry sando, and it was delicious! Our waitress was super friendly and informed me of all of the gluten-free options, plus other items that could be made gluten-free that weren't already on the gluten-free menu.”

Good place for large group gatherings, families, friends. Service - you go up to the bar to order all your drinks and food. Their food is just okay - Regular pub food, fried finger foods. Nothing too spectacular. Beer on Tap - wide variety of beers on tap (stout, ales, ipas, etc), beer menu rotates every so often Tropical Sour Gummy - highly recommend, refreshing, tastes like candy but in beer, not overly sweet 8/10”

Wedge salad was so flavorful with the homemade dressing and pappadew peppers- what a new flavor on a traditional salad.My dad and I split the steak for two (porterhouse), cooked to perfection. My mother got an 8 oz strip and she normally gets it cooked well done. She was mowing the steak down and we had two sides of sauce to try- Bernaise and peppercorn. Both were super flavorful and enhanced the steak (truth be told the steak is the star and didn't need sauce)As for sides: creamed spinach and scalloped sweet potatoes (full portions) charred jalapeños creamed corn and roasted mushrooms (half portions). We ate more than we normally would've, but it seemed too good to stop.They were super generous to give both my parents a complimentary dessert since they have back to back bdays in March. My dad took one of each sorbet flavors (mango, pear, strawberry) and my mother did the vanilla bread pudding with cheesecake ice cream. My goodness! After all that food and a bottle of wine, still cleaned the plates! It's unheard of in our family.On the walk out, I noticed Chef Rathbun and he spoke with us for a few minutes. Told him I'd been familiar with his work and watched him and his brother battle on Iron Chef.
