“It was happenstance that I ended up at Marcus B&G since the Valet Manager at my Hotel had recommended McCormick and Schmick's. I decided to check OpenTable for more local fare and came upon Marcus B&G, which was absolutely delightful - spectacular food; a very fun, kitschy environment; the Wait Staff was so attentive and the other Patrons were welcoming! I would highly recommend Marcus B&G to anyone visiting ATL!“

“I had wings and nachos with local beers for dinner.I like my choice! Great!Good foods and services, but, after a hour here inside with my friends, I felt my throat was getting sore and loose my voice because the air inside is too bad. My throat was sore for 2 days after I had dinner with my friends here.It maybe good to sit outside.“

“This place is great. It’s in Atlanta. Staple where you can put church choir ropes on when you go. On certain days they have drag and karaoke. When you go on the weekends it’s a great place to dance. They also have picnic tables outside. This is a great place to be casual but also have a great time.“

“We went on late night Friday about 11:30/12am. There was a line to get in, the wait time was about 20 minutes. People in the line respectful, no one complained for having to wait. There was $10 cover charge, that’s a reasonable price. Once in, wow! It’s packed. It didn’t take long to be served a drink. The dance floor was booty to booty, should to shoulder. It’s a little overwhelming but once I got my groove on, I forgot about the fact that my body was touching strangers. The DJ played a variety of genres, popular songs everyone knows. Rap, county, rock, Spanish, Pop…etc. The demographics were 21 and up, I saw a variety of age groups, cultures, ethnicities, sexualities, and genders. Everyone was smiling, laughing, having a great time. It was Fun! Fun! Fun! I will definitely return. I would like to try their food. Someone was eating, I hope it tastes as good as it looks. I will provide and update on food. Go to Johnny’s and shake your groove thing!“

“Staff was excellent, good was fantastic, music was loud enough to be heard but not so loud as to drown out conversation, lots of fantastic decorations. We went there for dinner last night and returned for lunch today. Food absolutely worth the price!!!“

“Tucked away in Inman Park is this gem. Not a cookie cutter bar in any way shape or form. Haven't been in years but who wouldn't love to sit next to a retailer and his dachshund for his grilled cheese? Highly recommend the mango mule. Great vibe and great bartenders. Good for day drinking, date, or just a catch up with friends.“

“Love the atmosphere of this place. Old school decor and laid back. Food was good and I recommend the fish and chips and the chicken cheesecake. My friend had the wings and she said they were just alright. Although they bring the food to your table there is no waitress service and you go up to the bar to order. Good selection of beer as well as a full bar.“

“In from out of town but treated like a local from the start. Alex was amazing from the beginning. He was the first one to great us and through out the night was super friendly and attentive. If I was local, this would 100% be my local hang. Will visit again when in town.“

“My friend girl brought me to this restaurant for my birthday. I had the turkey ribs, collards, yams and Mac and cheese and the bread pudding, we even tried the fried green tomato,she had the turkey wings. OH ! My gosh the food was sooo, ( never heard of nor had a turkey ribs) it was so tender and the sauce was point on. I don't mind paying a good piece if the service and food is great. When I left this restaurant I took a picture and posted on Facebook, telling everybody I know about this fabulous time at this place and they got to try it out. The service, and my waiter was a 10 .plus“

“If I could give this restaurant 6 or 7 stars for atmosphere I would do it. Reason being the music! The clientele has magnificent musical taste - and it shows in the music being played on the jukebox. I only wish they would turn up the volume! As I enjoyed a delicious salmon (2 sides meal deal) during a recent visit someone dialed up “Picture” by Kid Rock and Cheryl Crow. I nearly started singing aloud I was so inspired! Then just when I felt emotionally spent from that experience BOOM here comes an Allman Brothers jam that brought the house down. It was a roller coaster ride for the ages! Having essentially what amounts to a professional DJ onsite is a huge selling point for this restaurant. I can’t wait to go back - hopefully the jukebox is playing loud and proud once again!“

“Clinesha my waitress was very attentive and polite. She had very good attention to detail, as I noticed her pick up trash below the table in a crevice. The food was good. And the atmosphere was very public. The beer is way to expensive at $12 a glass.“

“I love the afterwork vibe right before I head home for the evening as well as stepping out at night time. I stopped by around 8pm one evening and had the salad with Salmon w/glaze and it was perfect vibe! Really laid back. By the time I looked up I had almost closed the place down. Very hip new spot!“

“We have lived and worked and eaten and ridden past this place for almost a decade. We didn't quite know what to make of it. One night when my wife was out with her friends, I decided to try it out. I was looking for a place close by to possibly stop by and people watch on a regular basis. I walk in and there is this massive dude behind the bar with this smirk and cool sneakers on. He pours me the strongest drink I've had in Atlanta and all of a sudden I'm home. I bring my wife and now it's family. If you like down home dive bars with a diverse crowd, a jukebox, sports everywhere you look, and a heavy pour, look no further. See you guys soon!“

“Great local bar. Great food. Extremely friendly bartenders. They keep there schedule hours and serve food until the stated times. Great for a late night snack or to come on early and get dinner or lunch. Even entertainment upstairs and a street patio to get the feel of the atea.“

“This place is your typical sports bar! I enjoy it for the “Cheers” aesthetic and the ability go here late night and get a good bite to eat. I think that for a sports bar, the menu offers a great variety for all types of diet preferences! The Caesar dressing is THE BEST EVER!! The only issue I’ve across is that the server to table time can tend to be a bit delayed. That’s even on days that it seems to not be so busy and gets worse on a busy night. However, overall I haven’t had a bad food or service experience.“
