“Now this is how you do sushi! I booked the lunch omakase for a birthday gift to myself and it did not disappoint. From the moment you walk in the door, the service is great. The hostess was extremely nice and helpful. She explained everything and when it came to add on she was informative and not pushy. The space is super cute. There is the food bar where the chef is making the sushi. There is also a smaller bar in the back. In the middle is a sitting area with a couch and chairs. The music matched the experience. You can tell this was well thought out. The food! The best sushi I have ever had. The flow of the menu was perfection. From the refresher to the dessert. At the end the chef made sure to talked to each customer and ask about their experience. I can not wait to go back. Run , don't walk, to try this place out. You will fall in love with sushi.“

“I arrived in the morning on an international flight and took stock of my food and wine options.Most of the offerings in the Atlanta airport seem pretty much chain garbage and no good wine offerings. One Flew South fit the bill. I had the breakfast rice bowl (poached eggs, mushroom, kimchi etc.) with a glass of white burgundy. It hit the spot and the service was very friendly. Also, it was a chill vibe l inside which gave me a chance to mentally reset from the hustle and bustle outside. I'm glad I took a minute to find this place.“

“Right from walking in, I had a great experience. Mae was really sweet and funny. She helped us pick some great rolls and nigiri. I really loved the ritz roll and the garlic otoro roll. Each bite is fresh, flavorful and delicate. Really great cocktails too!“

“As my friend and I walked in, we were immediately greeted by Dominick and we were seated in a very plush chair. We could see the entire room from where we were seated. The patrons were of all ages (no children). The ambience is of modern flare compared to the old world Japanese style and house music vibes gave the restaurant superb energy. We had the Nice Pear and Kinjo cocktails. They were beautifully executed and not too sweet. A very nice combination of flavors and herbs. We shared the Shrimp Tempura which was lightly breaded (yay!) We also had the Uni and the Spicy Tuna roll, all filled with scrumptious flavors and well presented. To top this off, we ate the Lady M cake and it was to die for. Very light, crisp, and melts in your mouth. Throughout the evening, Dominick was very attentive and made sure our visit was an outstanding one. Our waitress (I apologize I forgot your name) was very knowledgeable with the menu and prompt on getting our orders out. Kudos to Dominick, the waitress, the chef, and the bartender!“

“Let's start with the good: the food! Love Umi and everything we had was amazing, the lobster & duck being my favorites but they were all 10s. The bad isn't terrible but I came on a Saturday night, waited regardless of having a reservation (for 2) and the service was extremely slow. Took 15mins alone to get water. Spent about 3 hours here for dinner which is a lot longer than usual. Ordered everything as the meal before came to avoid a super long wait in between (which inevitably still happened). Food was worth the wait though“
