Nothing so special you couldn't make them at home for a fraction of the cost, though. Chips were good. Very strongly seasoned with cumin and other spices, though, so be aware if that's not your thing. The onion dill sauce that came with them was not so flavorful, though. Basically just a slightly sweet greek yogurt was all we could taste.Beer selection is fantastic, but again, prices are steep (although some of the beers they serve are steep even at retail prices).Overall, I certainly wouldn't be sad to go here again, but next time I'm in Augusta I think I'd prefer to try some place else.“

I have eaten there numerous times over my 55+yrs ? I have never been disappointed in the food nor the service. I love western omelet and regular menu we love hamburgers of course and hamburger steak and the catfish one of my favorite for lunch or dinner. Everyone loves it.. The raw oysters came out still attached to the shells and were very small. We really enjoyed the fritters and other appetizer selections before we headed out of town. It was better than what I’ve had at most restaurants, but the biscuits and gravy at Pilot Flying J is still significantly better. For the strawberry waffle, I thought it was a little too mushy (I prefer a more spongy waffle). And the whipped cream wasn’t really cream, but rather a whipped topping that melts into a slightly milky but almost translucent liquid. The truth is, it wasn’t a bad meal. I’ve had much worse. But I’ve also had much better. I had expected top quality food when I walked in, and I was a little disappointed.The service and atmosphere was exactly what I had expected. Based on the service and atmosphere I would return to this Waffle House. But I would perhaps explore something else on the menu.“
