“This was a great IHOP. Food was great, service was great. BUT, it was COLD in there. Like no matter where you sit there's a portion of the artic blowing on you cold. Like go get another jacket to wear on top of your jacket cold. I know you can't please everyone with their preferred temperature, but a few degrees warmer and I wouldn't have been grumpy while eating my pancakes.“

“Didn't get a chance to take no pics but today was day when I just had to get out the house. Austin was wonderful! Really made you feel welcome and comfortable! Food was on point! The store was really clean as well, I know sometimes Waffle Houses get kind of a bad rep but this one is definitely one of my favorites to go to now!“

“Kenrick our management table assist was five stars! He was kind, polite, funny, caring, and attentive to our experience today. The cook did awesome on our meals as well. Kenrick, no need to apologize for any wait time! We were seated quickly for the short staff and busy crowd! You are awesome and need to be a manager quickly!!!! Great people skills!!! Respectfully, Maria (Boss Lady) and Eric Robinson (Paw)“

“I came to enjoy a Sunday morning breakfast. A friend wanted me to bring something back, so I told the waitress that I wanted to eat and then order something to go. She was very accommodating, listened to my order and got it correct first time. At the end of my meal, she got my to go order, again it was right the first time. All of the food was prepared as ordered, and was very tasty! I recommend this place, they have a friendly atmosphere!“

“My waitress was nice, and the Chef was on point, however they forgot to put the Chilli on my hashbrowns.Love Waffle House, my only gripe is they charge you extra for take out orders, perhaps for the utensils, I'm not sure their reasoning behind this, I'm only assuming that this is why.“

““While in the South, do as the Southerners do.” I’m not sure who first said that (possibly no one), but I’m applying that logic while on this trip to Georgia. Therefore, it seems only logical that this philosophy lead me to the doorstep of my first encounter with the famed “Shrimp and Grits” experience. While we have greatly enjoyed meals at “First Watch” when visiting Colorado, we certainly didn’t expect to find another location here in Columbus (nor could we have predicted that this is where my introduction to shrimp and grits would take place).Admittedly my ignorance of “the grit” fostered some anxiety within me, but I bravely soldiered on beneath the banner of adventure. (In truth that “bravery” had its limits and I did an internet search for images while at the table just to prepare myself for what might emerge on my plate after it departed the kitchen.)As it turns out my fears of the unknown were unwarranted. I sheepishly sampled the grits first. ? Then the shrimp. ? And then a bite of both together. ?? Wow, that combo of flavors was really impressive y’all! Now my only fear moving forward is that when I order this again after leaving the South I may be greatly disappointed. While nothing during this meal could upstage my entree, I have to admit that the “Holey Donuts” (with accompanying chocolate and berry sauce) were also delish. ?And that’s…Henry’s Take.#shrimpandgrits#southernliving“
