I had a delightful dining experience at The Animal Farm in Columbus, GA on October 7th. The restaurant's lively atmosphere, combined with an ongoing event, "Happy," added to the overall enjoyment of our visit. We decided to start with drinks and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our choices. The Moscow Mule and Planter's Punch, priced at $6 each, were both fantastic. For appetizers, we opted for the pigs in the blanket, which were packed with flavor. Our only wish was that they came in a larger portion, as we savored every bite of the $7 dish. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the braised beef pasta, priced at $25. I can confidently say it's the best meal I've ever had. The flavors in this dish were outstanding and left a lasting impression. Our waiter provided excellent service, though we regrettably didn't catch his name. My boyfriend ordered the prime ribeye for $36, and it didn't disappoint. The flavorful meat, complemented by the delectable potato gratin, made for a memorable main course. We couldn't resist trying two desserts. The banana pudding stole the show with its irresistible taste. On the other hand, the chocolate peanut butter pie, while good, didn't quite reach the same level of delight and likely won't be a repeat order for us. Overall, our experience at The Animal Farm was exceptional, with stand-out dishes like the braised beef pasta and the banana pudding. We left with satisfied taste buds and a desire to return for more culinary adventures.
