““While in the South, do as the Southerners do.” I’m not sure who first said that (possibly no one), but I’m applying that logic while on this trip to Georgia. Therefore, it seems only logical that this philosophy lead me to the doorstep of my first encounter with the famed “Shrimp and Grits” experience.While we have greatly enjoyed meals at “First Watch” when visiting Colorado, we certainly didn’t expect to find another location here in Columbus (nor could we have predicted that this is where my introduction to shrimp and grits would take place).Admittedly my ignorance of “the grit” fostered some anxiety within me, but I bravely soldiered on beneath the banner of adventure. (In truth that “bravery” had its limits and I did an internet search for images while at the table just to prepare myself for what might emerge on my plate after it departed the kitchen.)As it turns out my fears of the unknown were unwarranted. “This was my first time trying Italian ice. I looked at the instagram page before going. I got the strawberry short cake. It also had soft served. Was amazing. The staff was wonderful. I am currently 8 months pregnant And will be going back tomorrow to try the animal cookie? I think anyways new sweet craving! Love it!“

“While I recommend Ride on Smoothies. I did have an issue with customer service. I usually call and prepay before picking up my beverage. Today, I went online to reserve my beverages. It was not available. I called the store and was told it was a mistake and they had plenty! I told her I was en route. I arrived and of course, it's Saturday and the parking is hectic! I called and asked if I can prepay and have someone to run my package out to me. I'm told know after a text from the manager. They don't do that. What?! It's always been done. I said, okay, I'll put my hazards lights on, run in quickly, and be done. I see new employees. She explains to me that it's busy and she couldn't come out to meet me. “Went with a group for dinner and our food was good. Had some small issues with the waitress getting our orders correct, getting our tickets correct, and getting drink refills was a little difficult. Tried the phad Thai and I enjoyed the dish. This was my first time having this dish and I enjoyed it. The fried dumplings and sweet tea are good as well. Want to try the Amazing next time I go.“

“yea barberitos, its like if you like moes, willys, probably chipotle, or perhaps taco bell, then you likely could get down with barbs ... this location is pretty nice, or at least decent on depends, what workers you get, generally they arent afgan or middle eastern gas station (in the urban subsidized hood) clerk rude ; the food is nice, not so disappointing in comparison to other places w/ that category or genre, its affordable and can fit in healthy eating habits, the tables seating are arranged in reasonable way that allow for more private conversations kinda, a lil distance and personal stretch area, to eat not needing to cover your plate if a person cough a couple tables from where you seat ; and the people arent all that different from many places, when it comes to friendliness and demeanor toward patrons & guests ,you will have a pretty fair, nice guy who assists you, or might have a kinda less social or skilled or proficient on how to act and engage hospitably with random people, in a situation where he or she is being graded or watched kinda, so they may try to be like unpersonable or straight up and down, as way to seem jus professional, or for other reasons ... not sure ; a bunch of the people who work at this barberitos have been pretty nice & helpful, specially a couple managers on several occasions from personal exp - would say its about 3 1/4 to 4 1/4 so rating seem bout accurate ; its one of the places downtown on broadway where like to stop and get things on occasion seems for years“

“People having to wait for seating yet there were many tables cleaned and ready for sharing. People walking out due to ling wait. They probably saw all the vacant tables also! People working had mad look on their faces. Food was good but took long time to get. Our waitress was amazing. She kept telling us that she appreciated our kindness concerning the delay in food.“
