She got red velvet pancakes, which were fluffy, tender, chocolately divine. All the good food was served by Betty, a friendly and attentive waitress. We will be back.“

Therefore, it seems only logical that this philosophy lead me to the doorstep of my first encounter with the famed “Shrimp and Grits” experience.While we have greatly enjoyed meals at “First Watch” when visiting Colorado, we certainly didn’t expect to find another location here in Columbus (nor could we have predicted that this is where my introduction to shrimp and grits would take place).Admittedly my ignorance of “the grit” fostered some anxiety within me, but I bravely soldiered on beneath the banner of adventure. “Chattabrewchee was our first stop in Columbus, and man, what a warm welcome. Nikki and Hannah were incredibly sweet and friendly, and the beer was great. They have a good sized indoor space and an even bigger outdoor space. Go check them out!“

I had the Cabonera and she had a Chicken Cusine...not sure of what it was called but it had tomatoes and she chose Angel Hair pasta. “La Nacional Mexican Buffet in Columbus GA is a delightful dining experience! Although the buffet style has transitioned to cafeteria service due to Covid, the quality of food remains exceptional. The Chile relleno received high praise from my husband, while I personally enjoyed the flavorful fajita tacos. Despite the change in serving method, the cleanliness of the restaurant and reasonable prices make it a worthwhile visit. We'll definitely be returning for more delicious meals!“

I am hoping you may have found it. I was sitting in the chairs at the check out. I know you don't reopen until Tuesday but this is so important to me. Could someone please contact me? The owner, on her day off got up and went to the restaurant and looked for my wallet and called me to let me know that she looked inside and outside and was unable to locate wallet. She told me that she would be praying for me to locate my wallet. She said you should look again before reporting wallet lost. To make a long story short, I went back to where I had already looked. I returned the next day to find 60 beautiful leaves, for which she only charged me 5 dollars! She was very kind and knowledgeable; she even advised me on how to amend my clay soil so that I can grow my own in the future. Such a lovely person.“

“Just moved to Columbus and I needed my buffet/hibachi fill. Found this place a few miles from me and it did not disappoint. The food was fresh, large selection, spacious and not cramped. Sushi was fresh , the other buffet items were as well. Parking is going to be packed to park up front but don’t let it fool you, there’s plenty of seating inside.“
