I had already eaten lunch at this point, but wanted to try Wich Tea's drinks, so I made it a point to stop by. The interior of the restaurant is quite welcoming and they even have a nice little area to take pictures with a bench and some decorations. I had a strawberry milk tea, which was delightful! Sweet, milky and definitely strawberry flavored. A bit sweet though, but it did not detract from the flavor. I enjoyed my drink and will surely come back to try some of their food next time around.”

“For all the soondae lovers out there, this place is it!! Lots of parking available since it's in the h mart plaza and the inside is pretty big with tables all accommodating bbq. Their seats operate as the ones where you can open it up to store your stuff inside, gives you street food in Korea vibes. The menu offers soondae, a variety of soups, and bbq (including intestine which I need to come back for to see how it is). My husband and I got one soondae guk and a medium combination soondae to share. Side dishes are the staple radish and cabbage kimchi that you eat with the soup and they gave us salted fermented shrimp and some mixed salt for the soondae. I also love that they bring out a condiment tray of regular salted shrimp, salt, and spice sauce for your soup to season yourself! The soup was hearty and comforting, you just can't go wrong. Especially when you're seasoning the salt level to your liking. The soondae medium portion was smaller than we thought it would be, it came with the chapsal soondae, regular soondae and some cuts of organs/meat. I enjoyed all of them, flashbacks to Korea. Def recommend!”

There is also a food menu with delicious options and the garlic flower bread is to die for.But what really makes Cafe Rothem unique is the astounding collection of books and vinyl records that line the walls floor to ceiling. They play records upon request. I’ve never seen anything like it outside of an academic music library. Do yourself a favor and relax here for a while.”

The banchan also were excellent, especially the kimchi. Servers are incredibly attentive and were friendly too.”

Luiz was another member who stepped up and went above and beyond for us. He came to talk to us about Taylor Swift. He was the cutest! On our way out he gave us brownies! “Went here for late night after a show. It was after 10:30pm and most restaurants that were open until midnight had shut down their kitchens. We were greeted promptly by our host and we chose one of the private booths on the left. Menus and water also arrived quickly from our server. The drinks are priced fairly. We ordered a rice wine with blended mango and a Saero soju. The rice wine and fruit took a bit to grow on us but we were enjoying it after a few shots of soju. For our late night meal we went with the steak tartares and a chicken salads. The steak tartare arrived with an egg yolk and some fish eggs on it too on a bed of greens with a garlic dressing and a Korean pear. That was really great. The salad disappointed since the assumption by the folks who ordered salads were that it would be grilled chicken, but it was fried (the menu didn't state either). I probably should have warned them that if you have K chicken somewhere it's going to be fried. We had a great time. We didn't hang out much in the common area to see the ambiance but the big light show in the middle of the floor will grab your attention. The private booths are really cozy and can easily seat 8. The other cool thing about the place is the buzzer on your table has a button to call the server or ask for the check. That's a small but thoughtful detail. Now I wish every place had that so we didn't have to summon someone and ask for the check. It was pretty lively for midnight on a Wednesday but not overly noisy. Seems like a fun place for drinks and some bar food that isn't just chips or wings. Would definitely try it out again.”

You have to pick a minimum of 5 things to go into the dry pot, and we chose seaweed (delicious), rice cakes, tofu, fish, and eggplant. Honestly everything was very good, and for the price there was so much food we had leftovers to take home. We also got a lamb and beef kabob, and I thought the lamb kabob was pretty tender and had a lot of seasoning. There wasn't much chargrilled flavor just a lot of seasoning but still fine nonetheless. If I were to come back I would still go for the drypot and maybe another one of their dishes. As a nice surprise they gave us a gift card for next time to use!”

The Peking duck was very good! The skin is thin and crispy while the meat is tender and juicy. After carving the duck, they used the rest of the duck to make a delectable soup from it! I’ve been in Atlanta for 11 years and this is the first time I had Peking duck here. Granted, I also didn’t go out seeking it either. I didn’t frequent Kung Fu Kitchen much so I don’t know what business was like. The business was brisk during my visit but another table also ordered Peking Duck.”

Even though it is an unusual request, they have always gotten it right and it is always delicious. Your chicken is served with fresh orange peel that is candied along with peppers. Another unusual thing about this restaurant in my opinion is that they ask you if you want your fried rice with or without soy sauce. I initially thought that Would not be appetizing. To my surprise it was delicious and competitive to their version with soy sauce. It was a nice surprise and I haven't had a bad experience here and hopefully I will not. The servers are always nice and the restaurant is always clean and 90% of the time is not crowded. They do serve sodas in cans so you may have to ask for a glass of ice.”

Now I'm not the best at math but there should be more than 8 popcorn shrimp in a 1/4 pound. How about 10 minutes went back then 20 minutes went by, no one brought my food out to me. So I went in, the manager looked at me, didn't say anything. He was really excited about some freaking skittles an employee brought him for the store though. If it wasn't for the cashier at the counter with the pink braids, who really was considerate and professional. She apologized for their incompetence, put my food together, and told me to have a great day. The manager, though, his service was unprofessional.”
