Our drinks were good, shareable appetizers, the guys git raw oyster which is not my thing. i got mussels that were in a tasty white wine broth, hubby got lobster roll- packed with plenty of lobster! our waiter was Attentive and helpful, parking was ample. “I have been going to Lalito's at least once per week for probably the last 5 years. They are a family business that truly cares about customers having a great experience. The owners and staff are very friendly and welcolming. I believe their tacos are the best in the Atlanta area. You can tell they take great pride in using quality ingredients. “Mellow Mushroom is a restaurant that I love going to with my friends. Every time we visit Suwanee Town Center, we always grab a bite here. We usually order the Great White, but this time, we ordered the Merry Prankster, and for an appetizer, we got the Bruschetta.The Bruschetta was super fresh and very light! It was so delicious. The ricotta cheese was also really a great plus with the balsamic sauce. I loved it.The Merry Prankster was amazing. I don't say that often, I'm a retired service level manager, so that word is exactly appropriate. They even opened the box and asked their customer if it looked good to them and thanked them for visiting. Now the food, we ordered the house special, of course it was excellent, and they didn't skimp on the toppings, the bruschetta was delicious. In fact, we ate it and some pizza slices before I even thought about taking pictures to share. It's roughly a 35-minute drive from my home, but we'll be back soon. Rachel and Alan always make sure we are well taken care of and make it a fun atmosphere to spend time in. Their service is fantastic and one of the big reasons we keep coming back. I visited there recently and had such a wonderful experience and I want to share it.I came here with my son one afternoon and we sat at a table facing the bar. So I’m hanging out with my son and this young lady comes to our table to take our order(s). She was kind and attentive to my son (for context, my son was diagnosed with autism when he was two, and he is 19 years old now).She looked at me for a moment before she went to place our orders. When she came back, she asked me, “Did you used to work at Simonton Elementary School ?” I said, “I did.” She says, “I don’t know if you remember me, but I remember you; you used to come into my classroom and help me with my work. You also used to ask me to give you [Spanish] homework; you would do it and I would grade it.”At that moment, I remembered those interactions with her and it warmed my heart ❤️. I was like, “Yo… who was your teacher? I remember everything about you but your name?.” We both laughed. Alandra asked if she could give me a hug. I was honored. She made me feel like I made a difference in her life at that time.Before we left, this young man asked me if I remembered him; they both attended Simonton ES at that time. But during the second half the sound from the speakers became super distorted. I don't know if this is an issue with sound system or the sound man. I will say that it is super disappointing. At the Depeche Mode cover band, the guy behind me mentioned the distorted sound first, so I am not the only one who noticed. I am reluctant to return. I hope someone loooks into the issue.“
