Cuban sandwich was my favorite. Tamales were the best I’ve had in recent memory. This family needs a bigger restaurant honestly, so more people can enjoy this great food. The tiny restaurant was busting during lunch but wait was not long and was well worth it.”

We ordered strawberry boba with raspberry popping pearls and order two pretzels and one sour cream sweetbread loaf. They were so good!! And the barista was super sweet even though she was definitely stressed with all the people there. So I really appreciate that!!! Some people can be very mean even when they aren't stressed. So the fact that she was nice plays a big part in a big review. “We visited Beverly's to celebrate our anniversary... We had a table reservation, arrived early so sat in the bar and immediately received a very warm welcome and positive energy from bartender Chris and from Cynthia... We enjoyed perfect ice cold martinis while we soaked in the gorgeous lake view... the bar staff was so nice, that when our table was ready, we chose to stay and dine in the bar as the chairs were low and comfortable and the views were outstanding. Upon ordering dinner, we started with a French Onion Soup and Beef Carpaccio that were both impeccable. The beef carpaccio was unique due to its dry aging and the French onion soup cooked to perfection to my liking as requested (extra golden on top). Even the bread service was delish... For our entree's, we shared the hot rock filet and holy cats it was a perfect medium and the presentation is outstanding with the fire-y creamy peppercorn demi-glaze poured over the steak and hot rock... We could cut the steak with a butter knife it was so tender... and flavorful... we also added a half pound of king crab legs which were fresh, blissful and hearty! As a sweet surprise, they added a handful of fresh rose pedals to our bar space in celebration of our anniversary. Throughout the evening, we truly enjoyed speaking with the bar staff, most notably, bartender Chris, who radiates with positive energy and loving vibes with a genuine heart... (ask him about his campground dream)... and Cynthia was lovely as well. A kind soul. From the moment we arrived, to hours later when we reluctantly left, we left with full bellies and even fuller hearts... Seriously, it was a wonderful experience we will not soon forget... Thank you so much for making our celebration special.”

“My visit to Collective Kitchen in CDA delivered hands down, one of the best meals I've had. I could of closed my eyes and blindly pointed my finger to any of their amazing offerings and been blown away. Instead, we kept our eyes open and ordered Lamb lollipops for an app and Seafood Hotpot and Cottage pie. Delicious, up scale food that I would of payed twice what they charge. The service was was like it's own main course. Victoria took care of us from start to finish. What a personality!”

“My parents are visiting from Boise, my in laws came over from Airway Heights and our office is right down the street so we decided to go to this off the wall kind of place called the Daft Badger. Funny name...best food in CDA!!! I am an avid (self proclaimed) pit master, I smoke any meat that I can get my hands on. That said, I usually get any dish that has smoked meat in it so I can judge the chef. It rarely goes well for the chefs smoked meat, mine is almost always way better! Holy Moly! This burnt end brisket in the Mac n Cheese was fantastic! Seriously best food in the area and it's just a brewery! Love it, KRISTIN is the kindest and most attentive waitress. I feel like I am using too many exclamation points here!”

“Generous portions and well prepared meat!I visit CDA twice a month and I’ve tried several BBQ food trucks based upon reviews. This one definitely lives up the five star ratings. The 1/2 pound rack of ribs and 1/2 pound tri-tip were massive and smoked perfectly. Baked beans were excellent but just a little sweet for my taste. This BBQ was significantly better than others in the area because the meat was flavorful but not over seasoned. Staff was friendly and patient. I’m glad I tried it… it’s worth a visit.”

They have a great mix of crafts, veg, bakery, meats, etc., and unlike other Panhandle markets we've been to, the whole place is filled with happy folks. Real nice grandstand for the local performers, as well. Thankfully, the businesses around it allow parking in their dormant lots on a Sat AM, and that's definitely a credit to the market organizers to get that important support. This is the best time to go during the calendar year, so don't waste another weekend. You'll miss this in the Winter...”

“Always a go to for family to meet at when I visit my hometown. Love the location and view of downtown park and lake. Food quality is good. I recently tried the Shrimp Po’boy with sweet potato fries. It was very good! My only wish is that the fries were cooked a little longer. Beers on tap were great. They have a large drink menu with a few non-alcoholic options, which I love!! Great happy hour options, kid friendly, elderly approved, and sports on tv.Outdoor seating in the summer time is extremely busy, no reservations so send someone to put name on list at least 45-60 mins before said meeting time.”

“I came in today to pick up a pizza and watched a woman in front of me make the most ridiculous custom order. It was a lot of modification, but Sawyer, the employee on the register, held it down. No sweat he knew what to do, and made the interaction so swiftly, to where I didn't have to wait to be helped. I picked up my pre-ordered and paid for pizza, and complain about my back pain to another employee who had sympathy for me. Thank you for recognizing me other guy working, I'll be back for more delicious pizza made by an A+ crew”

I even had a regular customer (we were traveling) offer me the first bite of his pancake (I forget what kind, but it's great for borderline diabetics / diabetics).
