El Paisa has been our go-to for authentic Mexican food for years! Staff isn't one for chit chat, but they always have a smile on their faces! Their sweet pork is to DIE for! Will keep coming back for years to come
As someone who has eaten a lot of Mexican food in southern CA and in Baja CA, this is the closest match I've found in northern ID. The generous portions of al pastor and carne asada are on point and their carne asada fries/steak fries are just like the California fries I used to get! Some folks don't like fattier meats but I love it and think it adds great flavor. Their beans and rice are yummy too and their salsa is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant!
