“Cochinito was a great experience. The staff was amazing and welcoming to our large family, prepping a table large enough to fit all 8 of us gladly. Love the environment here, from the restaurant-length mural, to the comfortable seating and spacing between diners. The food was creative and colorful, with unusual options on the menu giving a unique experience vs. what we typically prep at home. Loved it, recommended for a date night or the whole family.Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming to kids, with kid specific menu options that provide plenty of food for their appetites”

“Enjoyed a great breakfast here recently. The food is country hearty with most of the plates including fried items with gravy of some sort on top. Portions are generous and there is some attention to detail in the preparation and presentation. Staff is minimal but friendly and efficient. The whole restaraunt isn't that large inside so there is a cozy feel to it. The smaller size may result in some waiting for a table on a busy weekend. We were there on an early weekday and felt well looked after (and very full afterwards!) Highly recommended.”

“The food menu used to be what we came for. Now, they've deleted the very items that made it worth it. The Reubens, the fish and chips, the taco salad to name a few. They HAD the best fries in town. And now they screwed that up and replaced with hand made fries. Soggy and burnt. We're bummed.”

“I love milk and honey it’s my favorite coffee stand but they really need to do something about when people are ordering food because it is causing long lines and waits when somebody’s only getting one cup of coffee. A good solution would be to ask those getting food especially if they’re getting more than one item and there’s a line piling up if they could pull off to one of the parking spots and someone will run it out to them when it’s done. No one should be Sitting behind the person waiting for their order for more than 10 minutes. On weekdays I have to purposely leave enough room in front of me to make sure I don’t get cornered in by cars on each end so I can leave if I have to way too long. (Don’t want to be late to work)”

“A friend turned me on to Tubbs-great coffee! I noticed how freshly roasted it was (oh so important!), and the flavors were complex-a little red fruit, with chocolate, and some earthiness. Will definitely be ordering more of this (Costa Rica). Give it a try! Good people making great coffee.”

“Where the locals go for breakfast. ?Favorite breakfast spot for almost 40 years. I’ve been going here since I was a little girl, at the original location, it’s even where my grandpa taught me how to order eggs (over-medium). I’ve moved away from the area, but make sure to always stop in when back visiting family. My parents still go probably once a week at least. And my husband is now a convert too.It’s a solid, no-fancy-fusion, just good ol’ breakfast classics restaurant with an atmosphere you can only get in North Idaho. Tons of breakfast meat options, want a delicious smoked sausage with your eggs….no problem.Must try at least once, the cinnamon roll. As big as your head and an absolute treat.My favorite: the lightweight with home fries and biscuit and gravy. Their omelettes are also solid. They’ll also switch your sides out for cottage cheese and tomato for the low-to-no-carb days.Everyone is very nice, servers are friendly and efficient. Woody, one of the owners, is always very friendly and welcoming and somehow still looks like I remember him from when I was a kid. I’m not saying there’s an anti-aging ingredient in the gravy, but that would explain it. ? Also, my husband is a black Middle Eastern man and I’m a plus size woman and we’ve both always felt very comfortable and welcomed here.I hope you get a chance to experience this place at least once, and love it as much as me and my fam do.”

“This is such a hole in the wall coffee kiosk... and the best Pumpkin Spice Latte in town. We've tried 5 different PSLs in CDA, and Golden Glo serves up the best. I don't know what kind of Pumpkin spice flavor they use, maybe it's their own concoction. But it's worth the extra driving time for us in the fall!”

“Our second brewery today takes us to Twisted Slate which is brewery #286 for me. TS only has about seven tables but it's a very welcoming place. Wine is available as well. TS has a HUGE number of taps. I'm guessing about 45. They only had two of their own beers on tap, an amber and an IPA. Perfect as SWPFTD went with the amber and I got the IPA. Both solid beers. We didn't order food but it sounded good. Tri-tip sandwiches, Reuben's, clam chowder, etc. Definitely a good place to have a beer and hangout. Not real close to our place so we probably won't be here often but will stop in when we are able. I'd like to try that Reuben sandwich! If anyone is a glutton for punishment, please, follow my brewery, and distillery, reviews from across the U.S. and beyond! and if anyone is wondering who SWPFTD is you will have to check out my review of Black Market Brewing Co in Temecula, CA to understand. Yes, you will need to read into it a little to get the joke but I have confidence in you! I hope my confidence is not misplaced.”

“I attended my niece's wedding this past weekend in beautiful Coeur d'Alene and I had the opportunity to taste these most delicious cupcakes at her wedding! I do quite a bit of traveling and I'm always in search of that perfect delightful treat. If you live here I am jealous that you get to partake in these wonderful and exquisite desserts , and they were so beautiful and delicately decorated! I keep telling my sister what a find and these are the real deal, I only wish I lived here so I could order them frequently!”

“Such a great environment and ambiance about this bar/restaurant the food is bar food but I'd have to say elevated, if there's one thing to try is both the ribs and the wings! “Hosted a large Super Bowl party and ordered 10 pizzas for our group including 2 that were GF/DF. Our order was a bit complicated, and they were fantastic. They double checked my order on the phone and again when I was picking up our food. They also had someone on their team carry out half my order to my car without me even asking for the help. I was very impressed with how smoothly this location ran everything!Dietary restrictions: They offer GF and DF options!”

“Dairy queen is close to home and the food is really good. It seems everyone there is younger and these kids work their butts off and for most of them it's their first job and honestly I think they do a great job . I always have quick friendly service. Blizzards are fabulous but the real food, burgers, fries, chicken, etc. It's all very good.”
