“Boon Cafe is incredible!! I wish i had photos but we devoured everything so quickly i didn't get the chance. We have tried every vegan item and everything is outstanding. You cannot go wrong with any of the sandwiches, and their loaded fries and nachos have the most delicious sauce. Their vegan mac n cheese is my favorite in all of Chicago. “These scones are AMAZING! He had bagels one day, and it was quite the treat. My grandfather has been a regular customer for years, and can confirm the quality is consistent and customer care is superb. Many people think of scones as dry, but these are wonderfully moist! My suggestions would be the apple cinnamon or strawberry scones for a first time try.Dietary restrictions: They had options for vegan and gluten free sensitivities. Not all options are gluten free, but are clearly labeled as such.“

“Best cheese cake, I have ever eaten. Visited their corporate office yesterday and bought some frozen cheese cakes. If you buy frozen , it is cheaper but you can eat after at least 90 minutes. They have a small operation where they sell sliced ready to eat ones but they are more pricey. They have great selection. Especially I recommend the samplers.Parking: Huge parking lot available for free“

“EDIT-Changing my review from a 4 to a 5. Seems that whoever I talked to the first time didn't have the best grasp on when changes can be made. I have since had the pleasure of speaking to Donna who has gone above and beyond making the situation right. Super pleasant to talk to and extremely kind. It was made very clear that customer service is a huge priority for deerfield's bakery and after speaking with her I will 100% be coming back.I really enjoy the simplicity of ordering online and the two cakes I have ordered have both been delicious. Truly, the customer service is the one thing I don't love. I ordered a cake online and 9 days prior to the party found out that we will have a few extra people. I emailed asking for the next size up. After 2 days of no response, I called the bakery And asked if I could make an upgrade to my cake. They told me I needed to give them a 10-day notice without even giving me a moment to tell them what the upgrade even was. I said that I did my best with a 9-day notice to which they only responded that they did not receive my email and they cannot help me. I had to go to another bakery for a few extra desserts for the people that did not receive cake. The bakers definitely know what they're doing but not interested in returning with the customer service.“

“Extensive menu with generous portions. We signed up on the waitlist on Saturday morning. When we arrived, there were ample open tables so we were seated immediately. One of us ordered a coffee and I like that they also give you a small carafe. Likewise with my Diet Coke -- they also gave me a full carafe of DC. There are many options for eggs, pancakes, Bennies and lunch items. I ordered a garden frittata and it was loaded with veggies and cheese, came with delicious harbor potatoes, an English muffin and jam. We also split a Strawberry French toast -- 3 large Texas-sized toast -- which was ok. This place gets packed on the weekends -- and staff is friendly and able to manage the hungry crowds. I also like that they bring the receipt with a QR code and you can pay by phone.“

“Let me start off this review by stating that i do not write reviews, never have and will not start to, BUTT this cafe is so underrated! I need everyone to understand how good their food and drinks are. Now just to clarify I know nothing about protein or calories but I do know a little something about GOOD FOOD. Ive been going to this location for over a year now and have had the opportunity to try their different menu items, Ive also had the pleasure to get to know one of their managers, Taylor. A very lovely woman, comfortable aura and I always have pleasant conversations with her. Moving on to their food and drinks, the first thing Ive ever tried was a regular chicken panini and my lord that first bite was immaculate. The way they stacked all the ingredients and panini pressed the sandwich bread makes eating it so much fun. ALSO they add apples...APPLESSS and guess what? its so fricking good, something about the sweet crisp taste of apple and the savory/salty meats and spice goes so well together. ugh 10/10. The next thing I got to try was their arroz caldo soup. It transported me back to 8 years old and it was one of those very unforgiving cold days, just coming back from school, opening the front door to the smell of your grandparent's or parent's caldo de res (latinos know) proceeding to have 2 and half bowls then knocking out. Yeah 9/10 good soup. Next was smoothies and Im not going into detail on the smoothies, they were very delicious and filled me up quite right, they were good size for the price and all are very different. The ones Ive tried were the power monkey (my favorite ughhh so good) the twenty 5 thirty 2 (very filling) and the super mario (somehow feels like im drinking some type of dessert and i love that). lovee 9.5/10. The last items Ive tried were the detox shots and oh boy.. Ive tried the good cocktail and the ginger shot. I didn't know that my bowels had the power to go into overdrive like that but they did. These shots for sure do what they claim to do and I love that I get exactly what I pay for. 9/10 but making sure to plan the day accordingly. The cafe is very chill and decorated nicely, clean and order to pickup time is quick (unless busy but dont be a douchebag and rush a masterpiece) I always go with my usual and its always so consistently delicious. Like I said earlier managers/employees are very welcoming and polite, even the boss will come and have a conversation with you and he is very nice and has jokes (funny guy over here). They also have another location in Wicker Park and it is also very nice, slightly bigger so there is more seating and has the same quality of food and drinks. And they do have more menu items so take a look. overall 9.5/10“

“These days I'm not sure a bakery can really deliver everything one'd hope for in the past. Lezza has a great variety of bakery products, and you'll find some of them to be very reasonably priced. I love the lemon knot cookies and the Italian ice, and you'll find traditional cookies here too as well as danishes and donuts. There are very few independently owned places anymore with variety and low-cost options for treats and coffee, but this is one of them!“

“Let me start off with saying that Delightful Pastries saved my event. I went in short notice after my previous bakery canceled my order and they rescued me. I went in day before my event, asked for enough pastries to accommodate 75+ people and they made it happen. To make things better it’s all DELICIOUS! I 1000% recommend them. “This is an excellent Pizza joint. I must say since I've moved to Franklin Park and was told about Grand Stand from my inlaws, they were correct. I love the Pizza and can even order regular crust, thin crust, or extra crust which is so good due to people liking their pizza differently.“
