“Got here before 5pm and the place was empty, which was nice. Got seated right away and after reviewing the menu, went with Hokkaido Cha-Shu Ramen and small order of Karrage.Chicken was perfectly fried, only had few pieces and took the rest home because I wanted to enjoy the ramen. Now, I'm not a fan of miso ramen, but their version was better than what I had expected and had in many other joints in the states. I was bit lost with the two potato wedges they threw in there and the cha-shu was bit dried unfortunately.Service was awesome, water got filled w/o me asking and food came out quickly. The place got busy after 5pm and by the time I left, all the tables were occupied. Would recommend you visit before the dinner rush.“

“Wow! What a great Thai restaurant with great food, home ambiance, impeccable service, and reasonable prices! The food was flavorful, fresh, and plentiful! Just the right amount of spice and the portions are more than enough to satisfy even the hungriest of appetites. What really impressed me, was how friendly the staff was, given how absolutely busy they were on Friday night. Our carryout order was taking a little bit longer, and several staff members came by to offer a complementary bottle of water, and a friendly conversation while we waited. This is not something that many restaurants do out there, and Jimmy Thai definitely stood out to us with this extra touch of customer service! The staff were quickly seating people at their tables, and zooming in and out with people's orders! Everyone who we saw had a smile on their face, and all the diners who were finished with their meals, left with smiles on their face. I saw one of the staff members even hugging one of the diners, and it looks like they have known each other for years! This is what it is all about! It warms my heart that knowing that there are still great restaurants out there that are reasonably priced while producing delicious food, and are in turn supported by their community. Absolutely recommending Jimmy Thai in Deerfield for carryout or dine in experience“

“Every time I dine in at Izakaya Sankyu, I walk out full and happy! For the longest time, Kitakata was my favorite places for Japanese appetizers and drinks, as well as the occasional "comfort food" entrée, and I was sad when they closed. There still a number of places that filled in the gap, but I feel like Izakaya Sankyu is the one that checks the most boxes. They have lots of great small bites to share with friends like kushiyaki, takoyaki, tempura fried croquettes, fresh & pickled veggies, sautéed butter mushrooms, dumplings (their gyoza was shumai had a fantastic crisp to them), seared / roasted meats (the unagi and beef were great), crispy chicken wings, maki, and they had my personal favorites - chazuke bowls, zosui bowls, and Osaka-style okonomiyaki!Pair these with soju cocktails (the sparkling hard yuzu-ade was awesome), $5 Asahi cans, Sapporo samplers, a huge selection of sake, and several varieties of Japanese and western whisky for a fun time. If it's not time to get crunk, they have teas, sodas, and virgin cocktails. If you're particularly hungry, you can fill up on excellent udon, ramen, soba, and a good variety of dinner entrées. I particularly enjoyed their grilled seafood, their Japanese spin on Korean buchimgae (chijimi?), and their generous chirashi. I've had a few bites of their teriyaki dinners, and they seemed on point as well.I wish I lived closer to Izakaya Sankyu, as their food and service was top notch. If you go by their recommendations or take advantage of their daily specials, you can enjoy a lot of food and drinks for reasonable prices while spending quality time with friends and family. I felt a little bad we took up our table for so long, but the staff seemed to enjoy serving us (and it probably didn't hurt leaving a generous tip afterward). On the flip-side, I suppose if they were TOO close by, I could kiss my diet goodbye; their izakaya fare is almost too inviting and tasty, I'd have trouble eating too much! No joke, I could probably eat three plates of okonomiyaki in a single sitting. :D“

“I ordered red miso ramen. It was quite rich and had a lot of crushed garlic in it, making it spicy. I thought it was localized ramen rather than Japanese ramen. The chashu was thick and delicious. The menma was quite dark in color and had a strong soy sauce flavor. The noodles were egg noodles, but I thought they were the kind used in Chinese cuisine. Overall, I felt that they put a lot of effort into making it. I'm thankful that I can eat ramen like this even in the suburbs of Chicago.“

“Food: I love their pancake! The portion was definitely bigger than the ones we get out of state. It tastes really good too. Also ordered the steamed dumplings - definitely not disappointed at all Service: Staff was attentive and food was delivered at a reasonable time. Ambiance: Clean and great for big groups.“

“Excellent little dine-in place with great portions and picture-perfect plating. The Tonkotsu ramen was piping hot and generous with the serving, and the potato croquettes were perfect in just about every way. For the money, it's hard to do much better than this. The dine-in area is a bit spartan, but it does the job. They were playing some lovely City Pop music so the vibes were right. Will be back sometime for sure.“

“Cute little ramen spot with the see thru kitchen style. The spicy red miso ramen was delicious but quite thick as advertised. The gyoza was also delicious. The gentleman working offered a free appetizer to my friends and I which was very kind. Downside is no restrooms. Will be back to try more & eventually check out the actual restaurant.“

“This place was packed! Although I started off a bit annoyed, I quickly realized why. The omurice and lemonade were outstanding. Everything from start to end was amazing and I can't wait to go back.Parking: Theres a parking lot right next to it and we were lucky to get a spot. We saw many cars after us trying to find a spot.“

“If you have the patience to get awesome food for Dinner but excruciatingly slow service this is your Thai place.Never on time with online orders. One time we walked away from an evening with less than 50% of tables occupied, waited almost 30 minutes for a server at our table and not even water was brought... and somehow we come back for the food ?“

“This place was unexpectedly good, especially given the fact that it’s in a food court. My expectation of food courts is not high. There were somewhat expensive but they were good so it was worth it. The staff was really helpful and answered any questions I had. Food was delicious. Plenty of meat.“

“Line is always long, especially during lunchtime, 11 am - 1 pm, even worse during the weekend, normally around 30- 40 mins wait or depending on how many people ahead of you. But is it worth the wait? Yes! Definitely. I always enjoy the ramen and other side dishes they offer. Prices are a bit expensive, around $15, but it's very filling and say worth it. The only downside of this place is that it is hard to find an empty table to sit at during lunch rush hours as this restaurant is located inside Mitsuwa market food court. So, I recommend that if you are going to this place with a friend, 1 person should start looking for a table while the other one is waiting in line or if you're by yourself and very hungry avoid going here during lunch hours.“

“First time here, it is a very nice place- nice ambience, dimly lit and clean. The owner as well as the waiter were very friendly. Nice to see the owner or manager helping out.My husband and I both ordered steaks. Mine was the New York strip steak. My husband's was the rib eye. Both were cooked as we wanted. It came with rice and vegetables. We were also given salad.“
