“The salsa is definitely authentic, fresh, and delicious! I love how they have photos of the plates on the menu. Really enjoyed the steak tampiquenia, chille rejanos, fajitas, and tacos. They have a full menu with plenty of options. The service and food were super duper! ?“

“Came in and it was really nice. Welcomed us the first came in and got are drinks and food really quick. Very very friendly love the staff and our waiter. Very friendly and very helpful. We had street tacos and chips and ceviche. Yes they do have salsa but it's a bit of a twist and they have seafood tortas with a side of fries . Santiago is a good waiter and fast. “A surprise for good Mexican American. El Faro is a longtime favorite and has a few locations, including this one in East Dundee. It seems more authentic than Americanized stuff. Get classic Mexican cocktails. They also have some good a** guacamole. First we decided to get a cocktail. It has the familiar ones. This was an opportunity to get something other than a margarita, but something that also has tequila. After looking it up, we tried a couple cantaritos. It's about $9 for a pretty big amount. This is tequila mixed with grapefruit soda, lime juice, and orange juice. It's similar to a paloma, but adds in orange juice for extra flavor. This also comes in a clay pot that has a rim of chili salt. Also we got the Orden De Guacamole. It's about $9 for a pretty big portion. This comes with tortilla chips and was enough to eat at this time. Good place for authentic food. It's far from the best but you get good stuff at these prices. There's much more behind margaritas, tacos, and typical whatever.“

“Wow wow wow! The most delicious and juicy steak fajitas I’ve had in my life! Everything tasted fresh and homemade. I think it was hard to find this restaurant because they don’t have a website but I’m so happy we stumbled across it! The owners are very friendly and inviting and I loved the beautiful Spanish music being played by the bar. I truly felt like I was transported to Mexico! I can’t wait to come back and try everything on the menu!“

“Had an amazing dinner staff was great and cheery. The aztec stuffed chicken and the tampiquena had bold authentic flavors. The 3 little pigs taco was incredible and paired with the green spicy salsa it completed the flavor profiles of my meal this is a small hidden gem cant wait to try other items in the menu.“

“We ordered catering of Mexican food for a rehearsal dinner. The presentation ( including a unique serving table) was perfect. Jorge and an assistant cooked and served food to our guests. Everyone loved the food ( and we enjoyed all of the leftovers)! We would definitely consider catering again and highly recommend Bella Vista!“

“I decided to try this place with the recommendation of a friend. I've seen some random ads on social media, but I've never seen it. I'm glad that I came here for lunch. It's a small spot with big flavor. The person taking my order was really nice and delivered my food rather quickly. I had the birria and agua fresca. The food was fresh and the aqua fresca was refreshing. The meat was tender and the consume was hot hot. Not just your regular hot, but a little extra hot so be careful. The salsa was also delicious. At the time, I believe there was a birria special on Wednesdays, but that could change. Overall a nice little hidden gem that I would come back to. The only thing I'm unsure of is if there's a bathroom. It's a small spot, so there may not be one.“
