“I had the Caldo de 7 mares was great. Big portion nothing to complain about. My father had the shrimp cocktail which he loved and the portion was also good. My girlfriend and two kids had the chicken and steak fajitas. Great portion enough for the three. I recommend...5 stars all the way down.?“

“I've lived in the area about 8 years now. When I first moved here, we gave this place a try. To be honest, I wasn't really impressed then. But I gave them a try again recently and wow! Idk if I'm just remembering the first time wrong, but this time around, the pizza was amazing. Great crust and perfect amount of toppings and cheese. The only honest gripe I've got is with the portion size of fries. On the website, it shows a big "to-go" container with fries, but the order I got was a small bag. They were good but would have liked more. Either way, the food was all delicious.“

“My parents used to frequent this restaurant 20 years ago and it was always the spot for italian seafood, extremely popular with the Italian community. Fast forward to now and my mom hadn't been here (nor I) since my dad passed.Three of us came for dinner recently and we enjoyed the grilled seafood, pasta with calamari, clams, mussels. Flavorful sauce. Mini panzerottis were fantastic. Seafood salad was finely chopped (unusual) and would of been better as chunky. Dinner was good. Our bill of over $200 with three glasses of wine seemed very pricey..Not sure my mom would return, but service was very good.“

He spoke loud enough so everyone at the table could here him even in a noisy, crowded restaurant. He deserves a big shout out! “My father introduced my family to Hagen’s 50 years ago. He would go fishing on Lake Michigan and bring his fish here to have it smoked. Hagen’s was a staple at our house during Lent. So nostalgic for my family and I. No one else compares to their fried shrimp and homemade cocktail sauce. Just stopped in today to get some. Was met with great service and given the same great quality of shrimp as always.“

“We were a group of 8 to celebrate a big birthday. Our server, Carmen, was super good about checking on the timing of ordering the various courses. We were not rushed and the swank space contributed to making the meal very special. The lobster risotto is divine, definitely shareable after appetizers and the generous salads included with each entree. Other diners enjoyed the duck special, the whitefish, and a really good rib eye. Nice for a special occasion or any time you want to have a great meal.“

“This place was amazing. Best steak I have had in my life. Price are high but you get what you pay for. This is a must even if is once in a life time. “I cannot rave enough about this place. We stumbled into this establishment for lunch because the Kong dog next door was slammed. My fiancée and I have been going to Fat Rosie’s since moving to schaumburg area but this place has them beat. Customer service is fantastic. Emilio, our server, was very personable and kind. The atmosphere is incredible and the tacos are immaculate. It was so good we ended up ordering extra tacos. We love supporting small local businesses and we will be back! Also, they play great music but not too loud which is a nice bonus.“

“You got to try it. Great Food, Service and Presentation. How can you go wrong. Seafood is King here and the sides are fantastic- you get a choice of two with every meal. “Let me first say that I regularly entertain clients at other Capital Grilles, and this was my first time at the Old Orchard location and it was not business. I had two major complaints, the quality of the service and my filet. Our server was a huge disappointment and really diminished the entire experience. It took two requests for a wine list before he brought it over, I've never once had to ask for the wine list at a Capital Grille. After ordering, I overheard the server at an adjacent table reviewing the nights specials, and our server failed to mention two that I would have been extremely interested in. Our server further left us waiting for nearly five minutes after entrees were served to bring our wine, which was ordered when we placed the entree order. And finally, he did not check with us to confirm the steaks were cooked as we ordered them. That leads me to my biggest disappointment which was a bone-in filet I had. The filet was butchered at an angle, meaning that half of the steak would be overcooked when ordering medium rare. Further, it was one of the lowest quality filets I've ever had.. tough and chewy. The steak knife had a touch time cutting the meat. And to cap it off, the meat was not seasoned properly. Normally I have no problem letting the staff know about poorly prepared food, but the only time the server came back was to ask if we wanted dessert. I will not be back to this location. Service is everything.“

We we're visiting from out of town and decided to try this place for my birthday dinner. We got the scallops and mushroom risotto, lobster bisque, prime burger and shrimp dinner. This was the best scallops and risotto I ever had! If you've never been make sure you go with an empty stomach because the portion sizes are big! Absolutely fantastic food. The dining room layout and decor leaves something to be desired, but aside from that, what a great experience! The waiters, manager and staff were very friendly and attentive. We were all so happy with what we ordered and satisfied. Will definitely go back again!“

It starts with chips and salsa, then basic items like tacos (steak/al pastor), then enchiladas. I had tacos (steak, pastor and chile relleno). All were great.
