“Best Greek food hands down.....you won't be disappointed“

“My husband and I are visiting from Arizona and were meeting some friends in The Glen. We planned on going to The Yardhouse, but thought it was too noisy. Saw the reviews for The Oak and we were so glad we did. The burger I had was the best burger I have ever had, our friend felt the same. My husband and our other friend had the rueben, they loved them also. We left the restaurant and we were going to take individual pics, then this really nice guy offered to take a picture of all of us. He was so very nice. Guess what, he was the owner. We will definitely be back on our next visit here and our friends will be back sooner. Great food!!!!“

“The service and food were very good. The atmosphere was not so good. Our table was right under an air-conditioning vent, which was so cold it was uncomfortable and made the food get cold quickly. They should do something so that the HVAC doesn't blow on the tables.“

“We went for Friday fish fry and they didn’t disappoint with all you can eat and light breading on the beer batter. Excellent Clam chowder as well with a Reuben sandwich to go for lunch the next day. Also excellent service as well Plus great atmosphere will definitely be back.“

“I just had the best meal at El Tapatio!I orders a lot of food because I was so hungry, so I ordered 2 tacos de asada, 1 el pastor, and I totally recommend getting the tacos! I also got the caldo de res, which was so delicious. Manuel, was very professional and delivered great service by making sure I had water and coffee to be ready at all times. “Smoky rooms, Punk music and Gothic VibeThat’s Warlord for youImmaculate is the word for this restaurant!Visited on a Sunday evening, ordered scallops, Sirloin for our appetisers. Ordered Fois gras too which had a bust of flavours in mouth and a must try. Got Ribeye for the mains and ofcourse had to get the burger. With just two ingredients this burger definitely is a front runner up for Chicago best burger. Lastly ended our dinner with dessert which met and matched the food expectations as other food.“

“This is such a great neighborhood spot. The service is impeccable. The food is delicious and they’re always mixing up new and unique drinks…coffee all the way to cocktails. I love that dogs are allowed out on the patio. It’s become a weekly walk stop on nice mornings for my pup and I!“

“The coolest bar in Rogers Park! They have a small but fun cocktail selection, great beer & cider selection, super super friendly staff and the best vibes. They have no food but you are allowed to bring any takeout you want or you can directly order to your table from any restaurant you want. Such chill vibes honestly. We were here as a huge group last week for our friends birthday party (about 40 of us) and our waiter has been a saint with taking sssoooo many orders and hand delivering them to the correct person, and with the most fun attitude too! “An absolute gem.I reserved the back lounge room for my birthday and it was the best decision ever! It was easy to communicate via their Instagram, and the room was reserved and ready to go. They even let me bring a cake and hire a caricature artist to come! We played bingo, had delicious cocktails, and admired the decor and items for sale (I now own a rainbow pin striped shirt!). I would HIGHLY highly recommend this place for a birthday, an event, or just to swing by for drinks!My highlight of the night Mark and Jana who smiled the whole night, made us delicious cocktails, and made our group feel at home. “The ambience is very nice. Less Italian more American and contemporary. Service was excellent. The host took special care to ensure the right wine pairing with the food. The three cheese Gnocchi was fantastic with a delectable tangy sauce. The Burrata for appetizer was very fresh and succulent. Our son had grilled chicken. He said it was delicious and sumptuous. Overall a great experience.Vegetarian options: A decent selection of vegetarian. The portions are a bit smaller but for good enough if not sharing.“

The food is also great — the only reason I took away a star is because I wish the Monday buffalo chicken wrap deal was an available menu item every day. even if i had to pay more than the deal amount, i wish the buffalo wrap was available every day.“

“Mino's is my favorite restaurant on the North Shore. The staff are friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The food is consistent and delicious, with menus changing seasonally. Tonight we had artichokes (a staple), steak tartare, halibut with beurre blanc, chicken piccata and a tuna nicoise with anchovies and white beans - a perfect light dish. Other nights we love the fresh pasta and pizza and salads. In the summer, I could sit for hours on the patio. The bar makes such a good cocktail and the Italian wine selection fits any food selection. It's a neighborhood spot but worth a destination trip. I can't sing it's praises enough.“

“I really like this place because of their music and they have really good lighting that makes for a nice cozy atmosphere. Their happy hour drink specials in my opinion are reasonably priced. Their food menu is a bit pricey. I've had some of their sushi, I believe it was the dragon roll. The presentation was gorgeous and the food was very delicious. I think this is a great place to go with friends.“

“Went there on a weekday with my bestie, and everything was great. Servers were very attentive and made great recommendations. Try the watermelon margarita and the nashville hot cauliflowertaco-so good! All of the salsas are self-serve and were delicious too! We didn't realize we were there during happy hour hours, so that was a plus. We sat near the patio doors and were able to enjoy the weather at the same time. Last but not least, try their house brand tequila, "Fino"..the owner told us why it was called that and it's a pretty cool acronym. You'll have to go check it out if you want to find out :)“
