“I'm a vegan married to a chicken connoisseur, who enjoys chicken. Roasted, broasted, or fried, she really adores chicken.So when we learned about BONCHON's amazing crisp, crusted chicken, she had to give it a try. *Bonchon is a no-nonsense eatery. Just a few tables, an order counter, and a magical kitchen. My wife ordered Soy Garlic Chicken Wings. They are par-fried, refrigerated, thinly coated, then fried again. The result, crisp crusted drumettes, which maintains their natural moist richness.Bonchon clever presentation has crisp coated chicken displayed on a paper covered cookie sheet, to highlight it's, "just out of the fryer goodness." The wife's order, eight pieces, provides a very generous meal.Chef Jinduk Seo's, Bonchon chicken restaurant first opened (2002) in Busan, South Korea. Franchises operate in 21 states in the U.S., and in 8 other countries.In case you're wondering, Umer, our server, helped this hungry vegan by suggested a mixed salad, loaded with chunks of fried tofu. The light ginger dressing was the perfect compliment. Thank you Umer, it was delicious.* Bonchon translates from Korean as "My Hometown."Vegetarian options: Salad with fried tofu cubes is excellent.Dietary restrictions: Mostly a beef and chicken cafe. “One of the only pizza spots that's open late. Had a missing mozzarella sticks on a previous order a few days ago and they have a sign on the door that asks you to review your order to make sure nothing is missing. However, they were kind enough to give us the mozzarella sticks. Pizza was on point & the cheese sticks were much bigger compared to other places.“

“The girl that was working on 8/17 @ 630pm should get an award. Her customer service skills were top notch! No matter how busy it got or how many times she had to run from the cash register to the back, she never once seemed frazzled or out of sorts. At one point a taller girl came up front to try and help her I think but that girl who was up there for one minute seemed out of sorts kind of so the other girl came back, with a pizza in hand, cool as a cucumber. This place was great!“

“We went last night for the first time… Great menu options, food was delicious, portions were perfect, staff was really nice. I had the Grilled Salmon, he had the Braised Pork Shoulder…definitely recommend both.“

“I didn’t get a chance to take a picture because I ate my food so fast ?. This was my first time trying their chicken. Everything was absolutely delicious. The employees were so friendly. The restaurant was so clean inside and out. I really enjoyed eating here!“

“I’ve been a big fan of peri peri chicken for a long time so I had to drop everything and try this place as soon as I found out that they were here. It did not disappoint. The chicken was juicy and flavorful with a nice char on the skin. I ordered it with the medium peri peri sauce, which I would rate to be right around the same heat level as Tobasco sauce, but much more flavorful. My wife had the loaded cheese fries with gyro meat. That was really good too. Kind of like poutine, but with a little something extra.Next time I’ll probably get it with the hot sauce now that I know what their rating levels are like. I’ll definitely be going back many times to try some of the other menu options too.“

“Very friendly staff. Wings are pretty good. It's a different style of fried wings but tasty. My only only issue was that it takes quite a bit of time for food to be served. Overall, the friendliness of the staff made it a nice outing.“
