“Fantastic food! Service was super good and the food came out insanely fast even though they were completely packed full of people. Definitely recommend this place. There will most definitely be a wait as they don't take reservations and it's first come first serve but we'll worth the wait.“

“This spot is a hidden gem. I ordered the hand roll bento box which was two giant hand rolls and a half portion of udon soup. It was the perfect amount and affordable at $18. The fish was so fresh and the hand roll was delicious. The udon noodles are made in house, which you can totally feel when you eat them. Chewy, perfect consistency and fresh. The broth was amazing. Only 4 not 5 stars because their crab rolls are imitation but the fish is so fresh, honestly, who cares.“

“During many of my reviews, I left my camera bag on the restaurant floor because I didn't want to disrupt their business by pulling up a chair for another table. However, the server here gave me an extra chair and took care of my camera bag. I've never experienced such hospitality in a restaurant before. And when I needed something, all I had to do was raise my hand, and the server would come over to me. -Seafood Jjampong Stew: It was really good. However, I wish they had more seafood. -Oden Soup: it was on the house. Even my daughter, a picky eater, said it was excellent. My personal opinion is that the service was top notch and the flavors were good enough to give this place a 5 star review. If you're a fan of Korean food, this is a must-visit on your next trip to Chicago.“

“Very friendly staff. Wings are pretty good. It's a different style of fried wings but tasty. My only only issue was that it takes quite a bit of time for food to be served. Overall, the friendliness of the staff made it a nice outing.“

“Korean Spoon is low key excellent! It is a small hole in the wall in a small strip, and while their business is largely catering, they do offer dine-in (Tue-Fri: 11am-2pm). There are also prepared side dishes and foods, like various kimbab and Korean pancakes you can pick up and go. There are traditional soups/stews and Korean entrees/snacks offered. The yukgaejang and kalguksu are very good. While most other Korean restaurants in the area have raised prices and cut back on protein/portions, Korean Spoon continues to offer quality food at comparable prices. The owner is very kind and courteous. Really great place for down to earth homestyle Korean cooking and wish they had more dine-in hours. Check them out!“

“Went on a Wednesday just after 1pm with family. The servers were so nice and knowledgeable about their menu and what pairs well. The food was great and I kept thinking to myself the whole time how my sister would love it. We have a 4 person set which was so much food and we had to take some to go.I was apprehensive about the yuzu tomato dessert going in but it was delicious and one of the most refreshing/hydrating dessert I've ever had and hit really well after eating a lot of good fatty meat.Wheelchair accessibility: Elevators to take you upstairs to the restaurant“

“I'm a vegan married to a chicken connoisseur, who enjoys chicken. Roasted, broasted, or fried, she really adores chicken. So when we learned about BONCHON's amazing crisp, crusted chicken, she had to give it a try. *Bonchon is a no-nonsense eatery. Just a few tables, an order counter, and a magical kitchen. My wife ordered Soy Garlic Chicken Wings. They are par-fried, refrigerated, thinly coated, then fried again. The result, crisp crusted drumettes, which maintains their natural moist richness.Bonchon clever presentation has crisp coated chicken displayed on a paper covered cookie sheet, to highlight it's, "just out of the fryer goodness." The wife's order, eight pieces, provides a very generous meal.Chef Jinduk Seo's, Bonchon chicken restaurant first opened (2002) in Busan, South Korea. Franchises operate in 21 states in the U.S., and in 8 other countries. In case you're wondering, Umer, our server, helped this hungry vegan by suggested a mixed salad, loaded with chunks of fried tofu. The light ginger dressing was the perfect compliment. Thank you Umer, it was delicious.* Bonchon translates from Korean as "My Hometown."Vegetarian options: Salad with fried tofu cubes is excellent.Dietary restrictions: Mostly a beef and chicken cafe. They àlso offer two vegan alternatives.Kid-friendliness: Small finger food.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is wheelchair accessible.“
