“Stopped in since most of the reviews on Google were good. Was originally planning on getting a plain cheesecake with strawberries on top, but the lady at the counter said they also had a mango cheesecake. Knowing my wife loves both cheesecake and mangoes, and considering this was supposed to be a dessert for our anniversary, I went with the mango cheesecake. The person working the front then asked if I would prefer to order one for tomorrow (since this was close to the end of their day) so it was made fresh in the morning and I wasn't getting an end of day cheesecake. The one in the case was made the morning that I bought it, so I wasn't too worried. The cheesecake did not disappoint. Was flavorful, soft, and had a great mouth-feel. I would also recommend the sugar cookies. My daughter doesn't normally (read as almost never) eat sweets, but she decided she wanted a cookie and actually ate it. Staff was nice, place was clean, and the food was good. Would definitely recommend.“

“This was the second time I came here. The first time they didn’t have all of the food items. Now, you can have dinner and dessert at the same place. They only have one kiosk to order from. Most of the time they were in the back. The people are actually very nice but their customer service skills could use some work. When I asked for extra spoons, I didn’t receive any sarcastic or snide remarks. I ordered just an iced milk tea (Thai) with brown sugar jelly. The results are very decent, not the best. Price was fair. I had a sample of my partner’s bingsoo. They come in two different sizes, the cup one is for one person. The other one can be shared between 2-3 people. Fresh ingredients and good ice cream. They have tables and booths for groups and couples. Ample seating. They also have some props for taking pictures with.“

“The food is very good. Not too expensive compared to other Filipino places. The lady at the front is friendly but the old grouch in the back needs to learn to acknowledge people when you say hi otherwise poor customer service will lead to customers to never come back !“

“We stumbled upon an incredible pizza company at Off Color Brewing. Four large squares of pizza, mix and match, boasting a variety of flavors that left us super impressed. As newcomers to the area from the Pacific Northwest, we've been eager to explore different styles of pizza, including deep dish and more. This particular pizza experience stood out as one of the best we've encountered so far! Not only is it reasonably priced, but the fun and inventive flavors, like cacio e pepper, added an exciting twist we hadn't tried before. The leftover slices even made for a perfect Sunday breakfast. We can't recommend it enough!“

“Food was great, but service was lacking.Wait was quite long on the weekend, but that was expected. If I were to go again, I'd probably bring my own latte for the line, ha. But the maiz con leche was everything I hoped it would be. The longanisa was superb. I couldn't identify the spices, but it had such a different balance than what I'm used to in Latin cuisine.They have an odd ordering/seating system where you order at the front, pay, but then they don't sit you for a while, then they sit you, then they bring you out your food.They came by 4 times during our brunch to tell us that they couldn't find our lattes in the system. Not once did they ask what the lattes were. They eventually brought out the lattes as we were just finishing our meals (and obviously found them in the system since they brought out the right ones). Since we already tipped, I guess no incentive to do anything about the poor service. They didn't comp the lattes, they didn't bring out a little dessert, etc. like you might see in a any other restaurant.Obviously they need to make the ticketing system more accessible to their waiters or train them on it better.“

“What an absolutely wonderful experience! The people working were helpful, kind and full of suggestions. We got a tiramisu "cookie" which had the texture of a moon pie, not sweet, just perfect in flavor. The brioche with sausage, egg, cheese paired perfectly with a coffee. The shortbread with dark chocolate, sea salt and strawberries was delightful. Lastly, the chocolate chip, sea salt and tahini cookie was a pleasant surprise. Overall, I'm definitely coming back. For those flavors it was worth every penny.“

“Small interior, but very nice outdoor patio space to eat at. Started with the chicken pot pie. Nice crispy crust and a great balance of peas, carrots, and chicken. Great flavors but the chicken was a little overcooked messing with the overall texture of the pie filling. The reason I came was to try a sweet pie and ended up getting the chocolate pud’n. The pudding and cocoa whipped cream had perfect consistencies with the pudding being slightly thicker. Dark chocolate curls on top being a nice touch and everything being encompassed by the crust which reminded me of brownie brittle. The slice was not overly sweet but gave me all the chocolate flavor I needed. Can’t wait to come back and try some of their other sweet pies as well the mushroom pot pie.“

“I was parking and saw a crowd of people hovering around a storefront like they were waiting for doors to open for the Nordstrom Semi Annual Sale! Thus, I had to walk over and see what all the fuss was about. Tons of people were waiting outside in the cold for pastries. I looked at the menu on the window and noticed all the pastries are gluten free and they have a large selection of vegan options! There were so many vegan options that I bared the cold trying to make a decision. I settled on the vegan brownie. The staff were all friendly and processed orders quickly. While walking, I tasted a piece of the vegan brownie. It was simply, AMAZING! I can’t wait to go back and try other vegan pastry options.“

“Cheap, fresh, and delicious Chinese pastries. They also sell a few dim sum items, I recommend the siu mai (steamed pork and shrimp dumplings). The BBQ pork buns are a classic and the Portuguese egg tarts are a must when fresh. Bring cash and be prepared to wait in line on the weekends.“

My grandfather has been a regular customer for years, and can confirm the quality is consistent and customer care is superb. Many people think of scones as dry, but these are wonderfully moist! My suggestions would be the apple cinnamon or strawberry scones for a first time try.Dietary restrictions: They had options for vegan and gluten free sensitivities. Not all options are gluten free, but are clearly labeled as such.“

“new favorite cafe!! love everything about this place, from the staff to the pastries and coffee. the girl that took my order was so sweet and when i was leaving another worker even gave me a free canele! i got the iced lavender latte with oat milk, my first time trying a lavender latte and it was so good! if you like the flavor of tea, you will love it. i also got an artichoke and cheese pastry (unfortunately forgot the name...), a nice portion of tasty artichoke and warm flakiness that made me want more. theres a small nice seating area on the main floor and i spent an hour getting some work done, there isnt much noice or chaos so its a good place to relax or bring some friends. as i was leaving, i took two passionfruit tarts for my family to try. i will say though the pastries are a bit pricey but the pretty presentations and ingredients make it worth it i think, especially if youre just treating yourself to something good. also consider parking because most of the spots around the area are full!“

“Best cheese cake, I have ever eaten. Visited their corporate office yesterday and bought some frozen cheese cakes. If you buy frozen , it is cheaper but you can eat after at least 90 minutes. They have a small operation where they sell sliced ready to eat ones but they are more pricey. They have great selection. When I go into the store for my baked goods I always get a welcome with a smile. North Shore Bakery always makes me feel like I am there only customer they have! “I've never had a bad experience here at Crumbl Cookies!Since moving to the area a few months ago, this has been our go-to Crumbl Cookies spot. We get it probably once a month - yikes! Every time here, though, has been the opposite of yikes - the staff is friendly, the cookies are fresh, it's never busy, always clean, and there's ample parking outside. At my old Crumbl Cookies location in Schaumburg, it was always a tight squeeze and hustle-and-bustle situation inside the store and in the parking lot because it was so busy. This location is bigger with more parking, but it's never busy which I like. Let's be real, Crumbl Cookies are freaking good. There's 4 rotating flavors every single week and 2 constant flavors (chocolate chip & sugar). I always love the chocolate chip and will get it in replacement of one of the rotating cookies when I get a 4-pack. In my opinion the warm cookies are always better than the chilled, but some of the chilled ones are great, too. They also sometimes include a mystery cookie which yes, is a mystery when you get it. I love that they do that, I think it's a fun concept especially if you really don't know which other cookie to get or want to try something new.There's TONS of flavors in general at Crumbl, I can't even select my favorite one. When they have these flavors, I do really enjoy their cinnamon swirl cookie, s'mores, cinnamon fry bread, dulce de leche, Biscoff lava, chocolate cake, buckeye brownie, and basically any flavor that has cinnamon or caramel in it, or that's super chocolatey and gooey. You already know I'll be coming to this location again!“

“EDIT-Changing my review from a 4 to a 5. Seems that whoever I talked to the first time didn't have the best grasp on when changes can be made. I have since had the pleasure of speaking to Donna who has gone above and beyond making the situation right. Super pleasant to talk to and extremely kind. It was made very clear that customer service is a huge priority for deerfield's bakery and after speaking with her I will 100% be coming back.I really enjoy the simplicity of ordering online and the two cakes I have ordered have both been delicious. Truly, the customer service is the one thing I don't love. I ordered a cake online and 9 days prior to the party found out that we will have a few extra people. I emailed asking for the next size up. After 2 days of no response, I called the bakery And asked if I could make an upgrade to my cake. They told me I needed to give them a 10-day notice without even giving me a moment to tell them what the upgrade even was. I said that I did my best with a 9-day notice to which they only responded that they did not receive my email and they cannot help me. I had to go to another bakery for a few extra desserts for the people that did not receive cake. The bakers definitely know what they're doing but not interested in returning with the customer service.“

“Unexpectedly medium good coffee. Little bit of a bitter "robusta" beans flavor. Metropolis usually sells mass market coffee that is no good. Many varieties of signature drinks ?. They have many pastry like a donuts and muffins. The coffee shop is not cozy and not convenient.“
