“Foodwise, is truly a wonderful story, somebody in the kitchen knows what to do and that translates all the way to our braines stirring waves of good sensations.Their turkish culture habits, the hours limitation for certain types of food, do not always overlap with other's schedule or expectations. The staff is very polite and forthcoming but that's so much they can do.The atmosphere is a bit bizzare, the music for example, is not in tune with the specific, the way that the tables are set, suggests rather a train fare than a regular restaurant.Their sweets shop however, is there to take away all possible clouds and make your day.Parking: Plenty of parking”

“Our experience here has been phenomenal - this place was recommended to me by all my coworkers and we were passing by. We ordered the Gyoza, the Chicken Karage, the Tokyo Miso Cha Shu ramen, and a Hakkaido Cha Shu ramen. The Hakkaido broth was good but a little too rich for me, but the Tokyo Miso Broth is absolutely amazing - it's light enough without being bland, noodles were decent, the Cha Shu pork was really good, and all other small soup components (cabbage, corn, etc) added a lot of flavor and detail to each bite. Gyoza was not bad, Karage was amazing and juicy. Overall love the vibe of this place and how simple and straight forward everything was. Highly recommend, this may be my new favorite ramen shop in the Chicagoland area.”

“i used to come here when i was working nearby back in 2019. not only is the food fantastic, but the staff is super friendly. after a few visits i brought a date here and the waiter talked me up to her (in Korean), which i really appreciated haha.i would always go for the dolsot bibimbap. sent friends here years later and they said the bbq was amazing, couldn't stop raving about the place.definitely go to Chungkiwa if you're looking for delicious and authentic Korean food!”

“The best of the best in the area - Capanari's Ice Cream. They are very comparable to Oberweis Ice Cream. Capannari is open seasonally from March until Halloween usually. They have rotating seasonal/weekly flavors along with your classic Ice Cream flavors - I really like the Madagascar Vanilla Milkshakes. The workers are also very friendly, there's a patio and garden outside you can enjoy your ice cream in or a small couple of chairs inside. Definitely try them if you're in the area and want some great ice cream!”

There are quite a few menu options.I with with a Chicago dog, fries, and drink and it was less than 10 bucks. You can't beat that.The fries were cooked enough to not be wimpy, another few seconds in the fryer would have been perfect. Well seasoned, and you get a huge order.The dog was perfect. I'd put it up against the more well known places in the Chicago area. Bun was soft, seasoning spot on, and the veggies fresh.”

“Went here on Valentine's Day with my boyfriend, and we were able to make reservations the night before. Great service and accommodations for the busy evening! We both ordered beers, and the food was fantastic. I got the chicken piccata, and he ordered the bacon burger. We both had the Chipotle mayo on the side that added a great twist to both meals. Splitting the two was a great idea. I like the open concept of the restaurant as one side is a bar and the other is more centered around dining. I'd definitely make my way back here when I'm in the area. Totally recommend!”

“Very good authentic Mexican restaurant located north of O'Hare airport. It was walking distance from my airport hotel (Best Western O'Hare North) and was an unexpected pleasant find. Gratis authentic Corn ships with two types of homemade salsa are served as you arrive where I followed that up with a very tasty large Margarita ($11) and a large El Pastor burrito ($11) which was very good in its own right. The facility itself is clean with a nice Mexican decor and the staff is super friendly, with quick service, nice follow up and an ever present smiling face. So nice to see happy faces versus the dour faces I see too often at some of the restaurants I frequent. Overall it was a very good and enjoyable meal where nibbling on well made chips and salsa and washing it down with a excellent Margarita is hard to beat in my book! I definately will be looking this business up the next time I fly out of O'Hare.”

On the other hand, someone's salad came on a very small dish. Maybe there was a change in kitchen staff? The restaurant when I went to pick up my food was clean, all unoccupied tables were clean. When I arrived the hostess verified my name before handing me my food. Food was still hot when I got home. Grabbed a menu before I left the restaurant and saw they have some daily specials and drink specials I want to try another day. Will definitely be coming back here! “Our family of four are regulars at Mr Kimchi. We love coming here for weekend dinners. This is a definite go to place when our boys come home from college. They crave Korean BBQ and the tofu soup/bean paste soup from here. Our waiter “Key” is very friendly and acknowledges our family every time we visit. He is always on top of it all when it comes to serving our table. We love coming here.”

“We came here once before. This visit was during lunch. We didn’t know they had a lunch special starting at $9.95 depending on the protein you select. This is one of the most delicious Thai food restaurants I visited and I had visited many. We ordered the pekimao with beef and the of Thai with chicken. Everything was done very nicely with flavor and not over cooked. The drunken noodle was a little spicy but within my tolerance. They also add small appetizers such as egg rolls and fried tofu which makes the meal even more worth paying. Everything was great. I wish they would update their floors but other than that it was great!”

It's a welcoming restaurant for everyone who comes in, has a good selection of food, and you pay for what you get every time.Parking: The parking lot has a lot of space due to the area it is in. There's always parking right in front of the building so it's a short walk.Kid-friendliness: The server is friendly with all customers including younger ones. Always checking in to make sure pita bread is filled and water glasses are full. Helps clean up messes that are made as well.”

If you go and check out this breakfast place you have to get the Honey Biscuits to start out. The service was friendly and quick to get your food on the table. “First time here last week and last night (2/23/2024), we came back and dined with friends. There were 9 of us in the group. Food was delish! We had diff types of sushi, ramen, gyoza, edamame, and Taiyaki with vanilla ice cream for dessert. All were delish and brought to our table quickly. The place was clean and staff were efficient. We sat on the part of the restaurant where you sit on the floor while you eat. We enjoyed the authentic Japanese dining set-up. They have various Japanese beer and wine, and dessert options as well. Prices are slightly higher than other Japanese restaurants nearby (Ari Sushi in Des Plaines & Sushi Nikko in Arlington Heights) but we can deal with it because of the efficient service. I think this becoming one of our fave sushi places.”

“I came to Andy's with some friends after they were shocked that I've never tried it or heard of it. It was on the colder side for a spring night but that didnt stop anyone craving something sweet. I was surprised to see such a long line for the drive thru. But it goes quickly. We decided to park and order at the walk-up window. Depending on where you park you can get blocked in by the drive thru lane. They don't have seating. It is a walk-up order counter. I like the fact that they had heaters in the standing area to help keep you semi warm. There's a lot of different options for mix ins on their menu ranging from sweet to savory. I decided to go with a small concrete butter pecan. The custard is very creamy and it's cool to see it being freshly made. The quality of the pecans really made the concrete. I would definitely stop by Andy's again to try some different creations.”

“My wife and I along with our neighbors dined in on Friday. We went there for the Walleye and Cod dinners the Walleye was delicious, and the cod was not quite as delicious. It wasn't inedible but was quite dry and quite bland. We were a little disappointed with the Cod, but very happy with our meal.The employees were fantastic, the restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was comfortable. Oh, I also had a scoop of chocolate custard and it was the best. Thank you, and we'll be back.”

It's a franchise, not a corp store, so they have ice & salad dressings the corp stores don't carry.I usually have a special order, so I'm in the habit of always checking my order before leaving. There is rarely something wrong, but they are quick to fix if there is. No one is perfect 100% of the time.It is a standard structure. I have never been inside, but I see many people inside, so I presume it is the standard cleanliness.It does a good business, so many others must think as I do.”

“FIVE STARS to this location of KFC at 1470 S Elmhurst Rd in Mount Prospect. I was there today (July 8, 2016 at 7:03 PM) to order two pot pies to go. While there I lost something very valuable but did not discover the loss until a couple of hours later. By then the restaurant was closed but a couple of people still remained in the building as I pulled into the drive thru. A young woman opened the window and I told her I was not there to order but wondered if anyone had found my lost item. I was able to describe it to her well enough so that she knew it was mine and she returned it to me. A customer had found it and brought it to a team member at the restaurant, she explained. My sincere and heartfelt gratitude to the honest customer and the trustworthy team members at the store who held onto my valuable item until I returned to claim it. I cannot thank them enough. The pot pies were delicious as always. THANK YOU KFC!!!”

“Def recommend - food is good, but if you're getting delivery through the app - I've ordered a large mashed potatoes and have received a small instead multiple times and have to request a refund through their automated services each time it happens, which obviously doesnt address the recurring issue (if it is one - but I've only received the large mashed potatoes I ordered once out of at least 4 tries so)Additionally, I don't know if this location serves Shrimp. The app offers it because it's a Popeye's menu item, but I've ordered shrimp a few times and haven't gotten that either - but I can understand that not being an option at all locations”

“I have tried a few things here but my go to is the Dolsot Bibimbap, always great and satisfying. The side dishes are always to my liking, they vary from visit to visit, and that is ok with me. Prices have come up but are reasonable. I am often the only or one of the few customers who does not speak Korean there. It is not a fancy restaurant so prepare your expectations for a more relaxed, casual, almost street food style, dining experience.”

“I never do reviews of places but had to get online immediately after I had the food from Hangry Joe’s. I tried their hot dry rub tenders and waffle fries. I’m usually a saucy kind of guy but I had their hot dry rub and was hooked. The rub is phenomenal if you like your tenders spicy and the waffle fries were nice and crispy. Definitely check this place out if you haven’t. 10/10 food!”

On the other hand, someone's salad came on a very small dish. Maybe there was a change in kitchen staff? “Give my girl Victoria a raise, employee of the month, or some sort of recognition. I am 8 months pregnant and she accommodated me while being the only waitress on the floor. I didn’t wait long for my food or drinks even though she was taking care of online pickup orders and customers inside the restaurant (about 30) She is a phenomenal waitress. She is kind. She is what many restaurants look for and jelly cafe is lucky enough to have her. Also, the Spanish omelette was great!”

“I came to Andy's with some friends after they were shocked that I've never tried it or heard of it. It was on the colder side for a spring night but that didnt stop anyone craving something sweet. I was surprised to see such a long line for the drive thru. But it goes quickly. We decided to park and order at the walk-up window. Depending on where you park you can get blocked in by the drive thru lane. They don't have seating. It is a walk-up order counter. I like the fact that they had heaters in the standing area to help keep you semi warm. There's a lot of different options for mix ins on their menu ranging from sweet to savory. I decided to go with a small concrete butter pecan. The custard is very creamy and it's cool to see it being freshly made. The quality of the pecans really made the concrete. I would definitely stop by Andy's again to try some different creations.”

“Great place and time! Our waitress was very attentive but Jeanine was fantastic! She came by multiple times to check on, talk to us and ensure everything was going well.Love Emerson’s! Outside of the price of the bourbon, it was a little high at $16 a piece for Basil Hayden and no anejo tequila, no complaints at all!We will definitely be back but bourbon is off the menu.”

“Def recommend - food is good, but if you're getting delivery through the app - I've ordered a large mashed potatoes and have received a small instead multiple times and have to request a refund through their automated services each time it happens, which obviously doesnt address the recurring issue (if it is one - but I've only received the large mashed potatoes I ordered once out of at least 4 tries so)Additionally, I don't know if this location serves Shrimp. The app offers it because it's a Popeye's menu item, but I've ordered shrimp a few times and haven't gotten that either - but I can understand that not being an option at all locations”

“The best of the best in the area - Capanari's Ice Cream. They are very comparable to Oberweis Ice Cream. Capannari is open seasonally from March until Halloween usually. They have rotating seasonal/weekly flavors along with your classic Ice Cream flavors - I really like the Madagascar Vanilla Milkshakes. The workers are also very friendly, there's a patio and garden outside you can enjoy your ice cream in or a small couple of chairs inside. Definitely try them if you're in the area and want some great ice cream!”
