“We have been here many times bc their food is delicious. Their orange chicken is Beautiful to look at and so delicious to eat! The restaurant is beautiful, large and clean. I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad meal here. My husband goes crazy for their wonderful duck. They also have Korean food. The menu is large. These bowls are so filling and delicious and Vivian always has the greatest attitude making the best out of my day.(A year later) I just had to add to this review because I still stop in to get food here occasionally and it still taste amazing, every time I see a new employee there so nice. “Honestly, Integrity, Great people and Delicious Food.I was there about 5 weeks ago, ordered and paid for my food. Came back after 1hr and I guess I paid again to another person behind the register. Only thing I didn’t like was the limited menu add on options compared to some other ramen places around Chicago.2.) Parking can be difficult to find in the area when it’s busy.3.) “I was so excited to try this place and I can’t say they disappointed. The menu is mostly the sandwiches with a few other things thrown in. I really enjoyed my sandwich and their house sweet potato chips. My only complaint was that I felt like the prices were a teeny bit on the high end for what you get overall. Employees very very friendly and I was served right away. The interior is a bit dark so I don’t see myself ever dining in, but my experience was great for takeout!“

Just the right amount of spice and the portions are more than enough to satisfy even the hungriest of appetites. Our carryout order was taking a little bit longer, and several staff members came by to offer a complementary bottle of water, and a friendly conversation while we waited. This is not something that many restaurants do out there, and Jimmy Thai definitely stood out to us with this extra touch of customer service! The staff were quickly seating people at their tables, and zooming in and out with people's orders! Everyone who we saw had a smile on their face, and all the diners who were finished with their meals, left with smiles on their face. Cons: None Dropped in for dinner and from seat to food was less than 5 minutes. The interior was cute and simple, the staff were polite and quick. The food was above average and very worth the price and the speed. If you eat fast you could be in an out in 20 minutes. Unlike a lot of 'fast food,' this is served with quality rice/noodles and the like, different meats like chicken katsu or teriyaki salmon, and stir fried veggies. The meat is cooked just right, The veggies are high quality, prepped with just a bit of crunch still but still tender, and the noodles/brown rice are done well too. This is one of the best, most unique quick food places you'll find, and the servers are super polite, attentive, and nice.“

“I came here for a pick up order. Had the steak bowl and chicken bowl. The bowls were very tasty. I particular the steak which I really enjoyed. The steak had a grilled taste and was marinated perfectly. The bowls came with a cup of miso soup which was not watered down like many other places. I initially felt bad ordered 10 minutes before closing but the young lady working behind the register and owner were very nice and welcoming. The interior of the restaurant had a Chipolti fell to it but much brighter and less sterile. For a quick lunch or dinner, this is a great spot centrally located in Wilmette downtown. They have a small menu of sandwiches, salads and refreshments which makes it an ideal location for a local lunch spot if you have flexibility with open hours. We tried the Singapore Tikka and the Sesame chili tuna sandwich which didn't take long to receive. The tuna sandwich with the chili oil and banh mi toppings was really good. They asked if we wanted it to be spicy but I didn't taste anything spicy about the sandwich but the flavors were well put together. I wasn't a fan of the tikka sandwich which needs maybe the tikka sauce to bring the ingredients together.“

“Dowize Bistro has the best and affordable lunch here in Wilmette. I got the pad Thai with fried tofu as the complimentary appetizer. It also came with a small salad and soup. Big hearty portion! The food quality is excellent, and the variety is pretty extensive across several different cuisines and including multiple protein and vegetarian options. The ingredients have always been very fresh and prepared beautifully, and served generously. There is an array of traditional and modern Thai and Chinese dishes including curries, rice, noodles, bento boxes and sushi, and complete entrees and special meals. A personal highlight is they have ice-blended fruit freeze bubble tea drinks, which are a real treat on a nice day. Great little restaurant- Thai and Sushi. Everything very fresh and tasty! Efficient and friendly service. Highly recommended! Definitely will be back soon.“
