“Boon Cafe is incredible!! I wish i had photos but we devoured everything so quickly i didn't get the chance. We have tried every vegan item and everything is outstanding. You cannot go wrong with any of the sandwiches, and their loaded fries and nachos have the most delicious sauce. Their vegan mac n cheese is my favorite in all of Chicago. Our to-go orders are always correct, fresh, and prompt. Please do yourself a favor and go!!”

“Very nice place for quick grabs. It’s just like a typical ordinary pho place nothing fancy, small but clean and comfortable.We had the pho and it was surprisingly good. The broth was on point, flavorful and well seasoned. Most importantly the portion was bigger than most pho places.Service was quick and simple. “Good authentic middle eastern food. The chicken shawarma and kabab are marinated very well. I recommend the chicken shawarma as a pita rather than the wrap. Falafel pita was also very tasty and pairs great with the tabouleh. All in all definitely worth it.”

“Great Italian subs and bocconcini (mozzarella balls). Lezza Italian ice is very good. And the chicken parmesan on a bed of mostaccioli is fantastic. It's also one of the few Italian sub shops in the area that will deliver through Uber eats.”

“Basic sports bar. It's located in Norridge not close to anything interesting. Newbe's actually is pretty good to be honest, much better than expected for sure. Has the basic drinks and food. There's also gaming. A few way to keep entertained. It has video poker and slots. There was one woman who never moved from the one slot machine the entire time. As for the rest of the stuff, it has pretty average drinks and food. It's about $6 for wells. Basic liquor selection. The food is mostly fried and greasy things. About $3 for fried appetizers. The rest of the menu is meaty stuff. Good stuff as far as entertainment. It has slots. There's not that much else interesting but it's a nice neighborhood hangout if you're around it though.”

I appreciate that unlike other restaurants that try to give you the minimal amount of sauce, Sultan keeps squeeze bottle available for their two sauces. Sultan remains as one of my go-to restaurants.”

“Beautiful little cafe! Very friendly staff. We came from Minnesota and felt very welcomed. Everything looked delicious I wish I could have tried it all! I got the Tiramisu and it was honestly the best I've ever had. I also got cookies to bring home. They even went as far as to drizzling caramel in my Italian Macchiato. Absolutely will be coming back next time im 8n the area!”

“It is a small bakery but has a fantastic selection of bakery goods. Donuts and Danish, are larger than usual. And fillings are awesome. They also have coffee cakes and strudels. I didn't have much time to look over all of the awesome bakes that were available that morning, because I came with a friend who is a regular. But, I did ask him, to let me know whenever he goes there, so I can ride along and purchase some of their baked goods.”

“Wonderful homemade pastries and crossaints! The coffee was absolutely divine. We Loved the warm, and inviting space sitting outside as well as the host and likely owner, who made recommendations and was very attentive. Seating is also available inside and they have a full breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu. This will definitely be mine and my husband's new favorite local spot ❤️”

“I picked up two corned beef and cabbage dinners today for St. Patrick’s Day. The corned beef was inedible(so tough), the carrots were undercooked and the cabbage tasteless. So I paid for 2 dinners of tasty boiled potatoes. I love your restaurant-have eaten there many times. Don’t know what happened?”

“Kendall greeted me at th3 door to acknowledge I came in. I told her I wanted a bone in ham. What were my options. 8 pounds was I interested in? I said maybe seven or eight pounds. She went into the refrigerator more than once to show me the size of the ham and the Turkey breast and I appreciate that. I like to see the shape to see how small or big it is, so I can see if it would feed my family. I appreciate all the hard work. I was amazed on how much knowledge she had of the honey baked ham store, plus how much temperature to put in the oven, and how to serve it. I was like wow, and she gave me a piece of paper. That also has information on how to cook and serve ham and turkey. I also noticed that she was always smiling. She really loves her job, She was friendly and polite. I appreciate all that That definitely would encourage me to come back. This was my first time ever coming and she made it very pleasant. Thank you soon much.”

“Looking for a quality meal in a mall food court is challenging. Halsted Street Deli had friendly service. We sampled the chicken noodle soup and found it tasty but not overly salty. It tasted like they made it there not from a can. The panninis were satisfying. We ate it in the food court and they were crunchy, not sure if they would stay that way.”

“Recently ordered a smoothie bowl and forgot to mention my food allergy. Instead of attitude from staff I was met with perfect accommodations and friendly attitudes. She stepped away for a second to clarify with her coworker to see if any of my allergens were added into my bowl and remade it for me. 10/10 for accommodations and service.”

“While the service behind the counter was not overly chatty, I decided to give it a try. I had a hunger for pierogi's and the new place down the street was closed for the holiday. I ordered 4 pierogis, which only ones available was potato and cheese. Saute-ing was part of the cooking process, which made them oh so much better. I also had a cabbage roll, meat and rice, which was a little bland. I prefer a sharper sauerkraut taste and a little more flavor in the meat. I bought a random bottle of Polish soda, the flavor was sorta like bubble gum. Nice homemade lunch, all for $7.70 and sat in one of the four chairs. It was a fun change from the norm.”

“Tony our waiter, was so nice to us! Kudos to him in making our night more fun. Fun food and down to earth and plain fun to hang out at. People shoot pool here, watch sports, enjoy alcohol, eat bar food, and enjoy lounging on the cushioned seats while chatting w friends or family. I have to say the garlic fries ($5) here have the most garlic I have ever had on fries in my whole entire life. I love garlic, and I never knew that they would there would ever be a place where there was so much flavorful garlic on fries. The garlic was seasoned just right and wasn't dry or burned. The taste of the garlic really brought out the flavor of the fries. They added a mayo like sauce to all the fries which I wished was more of a side dipping sauce w the amazing mounds of garlic bc the fries got soggy over time bc of it. But either way I loved the garlic rich fries...the Mac and cheese side ($6) was loaded w cheese and tasted good. The wings were meaty, the sauces (mango habanero was good w a bite to it), the cheesy garlic was okay, and cost 12 wings for $15. They played 70-80s music which is always great. This place is affordable and a nice neighborhood hangout without any drama. You can relax and not cook and do dishes by coming here.”

“Simply the best home made pizza in the area. I stop here almost every single time I through my old Chicago stomping ground. My go to is pepperoni and onion with extra sauce. I love their crust and their sauce. They have a wide variety of other Italian foods that I understand from others to be quite good. The area is a little small and dining in is clearly not their specialty but it’s made up for by the personable and attentive service. They also have some gambling on site and the machines did not seem tight! You can’t do better than Villa for tasty pizza. Skip Giordanos and come here!Parking: Narrow parking spots”

“I have visited this location 3 times in the past week and I am very pleased with the overall service and restaurant appearance.My appearance is unconventional and I normally am treated poorly everywhere I shop/eat.Not here.They are kind and helpful.I am able to use the restroom as needed without having to disclose my medical conditions,The food is always ready fast and they have never messed up my order.The lobby and bathrooms are always clean.I have been in retail management for 10+years and am seldom impressed. I can tell this place is well managed.Thank you for the pleasant experience. They are hard to find.Vegetarian options: Impossible Whopper”
