“this is my first Yelp review, I just had to say some good words about this place. my friends and I came in after a long day around 8:20 and the man at the counter was very nice, he said if our food comes out late we can stay like 10 minutes after they close. we left before they closed at 9 since the food came out quickly but his gesture was very kind, and the food was delicious. wonderful vibe and polite staff, I felt very welcomed. thank you so much for your kindness :)“

“Honestly, Integrity, Great people and Delicious Food.I was there about 5 weeks ago, ordered and paid for my food. Came back after 1hr and I guess I paid again to another person behind the register. Last week I came back from a long vacation and went to order and the owner told me about the mistake and gave me back my money. I was surprised and just let them keep the money, but talk about honesty and integrity. I love honest, hard working people. Plus every thing in their menu is great. Wish nothing but the best for Boba Burger.“

“i've been here a handful of times now and always have such a pleasant experience. service: friendly and prompt. they are quick to greet you at the door and offer help with any questions. there is a self serve water station towards the middle of the restaurant restaurant is small and not too many tables but each time i've gone there wasn't many people. food: everything i order here is so good. they have a very extensive meal and also have added more it seems -bulgogi fries: must add the kimchi. it's so good! ask for no ketchup though.. felt like it would have been better without it -assortment of makis and kimbops: i can't choose, whichever one ive gotten has been so good -fried chicken: super crunchy! everything about my meals have been so good! highly recommend!“

“Just tried Ordo Restaurant for lunch and everything was delicious! We tried the eggplant and zucchini salad, Samsy (like a flaky pocket filled with meat and onions), Plov (a very flavorful Central Asian rice dish with meat), and a layered napoleon cake for dessert. Would definitely recommend!“

“Build your own bowl: start out with a base including purple rice or sweet potato noodles, can not decide? Go half and half.chooese a protein from steak, Korean BBQ, chicken, spicy chicken, or tofu. Extra protein is only $3 (perfect if you are splitting a bowl - which you could easily do). There are seven veggies, including kimchi, scrambled eggs, and cheese to add to your bowl, top it off with one of 6 sauces. Pineapple and avocado are premium toppings at $1.50 each. I found the Korean BBQ tender and flavorful. The broccoli is oven roasted, bringing ou the nuttiness. Seriously, two people can split a bowl or plan on lunch tomorrow. ? On the beverage station is a crock of hot Miso soup, it is included in with your bowl. I found the soup needed salt.“

“Super fast, solid quality Pho in a cute, no frills restaurant. Rating 9/10 | Cost $13 a bowl Pros: Speedy, simple, tasty, good variety. Cons: None Dropped in for dinner and from seat to food was less than 5 minutes. The interior was cute and simple, the staff were polite and quick. The food was above average and very worth the price and the speed. If you eat fast you could be in an out in 20 minutes. Plenty of parking and some unique menu items like caramelized catfish so I plan to come back again! Exactly what you need when hung over or just hungry.“

“Wow! What a great Thai restaurant with great food, home ambiance, impeccable service, and reasonable prices! The food was flavorful, fresh, and plentiful! Just the right amount of spice and the portions are more than enough to satisfy even the hungriest of appetites. What really impressed me, was how friendly the staff was, given how absolutely busy they were on Friday night. Our carryout order was taking a little bit longer, and several staff members came by to offer a complementary bottle of water, and a friendly conversation while we waited. This is not something that many restaurants do out there, and Jimmy Thai definitely stood out to us with this extra touch of customer service! The staff were quickly seating people at their tables, and zooming in and out with people's orders! Everyone who we saw had a smile on their face, and all the diners who were finished with their meals, left with smiles on their face. I saw one of the staff members even hugging one of the diners, and it looks like they have known each other for years! This is what it is all about! It warms my heart that knowing that there are still great restaurants out there that are reasonably priced while producing delicious food, and are in turn supported by their community. “Great welcome by hostesses even though we arrived before opening time; she sat us immediately. The Rolls and Sashimi are standard good. Server was not very knowledgeable of menu. Our friends do know the place and ordered a “black rice” that is different. Had a nice bottle of Gruner wine. Overall a good experience“

“Very enjoyable Kong dong here can't recommend enough. Food was great service was great and the ambiance was spectacular. I am going to make it a point to make sure I try some of the food next time I visit though I am positive it's delicious as it smelled amazing and my best friends were all enjoying it.“

“I came here for a pick up order. Had the steak bowl and chicken bowl. The bowls were very tasty. I particular the steak which I really enjoyed. The steak had a grilled taste and was marinated perfectly. The bowls came with a cup of miso soup which was not watered down like many other places. I initially felt bad ordered 10 minutes before closing but the young lady working behind the register and owner were very nice and welcoming. The interior of the restaurant had a Chipolti fell to it but much brighter and less sterile. For a quick lunch or dinner, this is a great spot centrally located in Wilmette downtown. I will definitely be coming back.“

“We have been here many times bc their food is delicious. Their orange chicken is Beautiful to look at and so delicious to eat! The restaurant is beautiful, large and clean. I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad meal here. My husband goes crazy for their wonderful duck. They also have Korean food. The menu is large. Don’t miss this place, it’s Fantastic!Parking: The parking is fantastic. It is a huge parking lot and twin dragon is right behind the omega restaurant.“

“Dowize Bistro has the best and affordable lunch here in Wilmette. I got the pad Thai with fried tofu as the complimentary appetizer. It also came with a small salad and soup. Big hearty portion! The food quality is excellent, and the variety is pretty extensive across several different cuisines and including multiple protein and vegetarian options. The ingredients have always been very fresh and prepared beautifully, and served generously. There is an array of traditional and modern Thai and Chinese dishes including curries, rice, noodles, bento boxes and sushi, and complete entrees and special meals. A personal highlight is they have ice-blended fruit freeze bubble tea drinks, which are a real treat on a nice day. Great little restaurant- Thai and Sushi. Everything very fresh and tasty! Efficient and friendly service. Highly recommended! Definitely will be back soon.“

“I'm sorry, it was damn near perfect. Believe it or not it was my first time. The ambiance was perfect. I had a business meeting. It was so conducive to what we were trying to accomplish that we probably over stayed our welcome.lol Even so, no one was rushing us out the door. I don't remember the name of the dish. It was a curry dish with vegetables and catfish, very delicious. We did start with the shrimp spring rolls. Being a pescatarian I don't always have those options. If you're in the Rogers Park/Edgewater area this is worth your time.“

“I think this place has a lot of potential to become better by changing a few things. The waitress was super nice and attentive, I think having her explain to everyone that they need to grab their own utensils and condiments is a bit redundant. At other places, the mint/sprouts/utensils/etc. are usually brought to you when you order your bowl of pho. I think doing this would prevent confusion and would clear up the need for instructions, having the table available if they'd like more as an option. I think a sign posted as soon as you walk in instructing clients to seat themselves if they are dining in would also clear up some confusion about ordering at the front. The food is great, but overhearing the owner/manager get onto staff for not providing these instructions was a bit off putting. Making a few changes to facilitate the success of your staff could make for a better experience!“

“I seriously love this place! The boat noodle soup is absolutely amazing! If you aren’t able to do spicy much tell them! I can and it’s usually pretty spicy! Today I drove about an hour to get to this place since I live in suburbs!! Totally worth it!“

“Ajwaah Sweets is a nice sweet shop that has all kinds of desi sweets, snacks, savories, candy and good European pastry selection. They also have warm egg rolls, samosas and puffs. They serve puri halwa on the weekends until around 12 noon. We only tried their ladu’s as we just stopped in after dinner but everything displayed was well organized and looked really delicious. The ladoo’s were super fresh, made with pure ghee and were the best I’ve tasted in a very long time! We’ll be back another time to try other items on an empty stomach. I hear their falooda drinks are a drink sensation!“

The seating in the venue promotes bringing friends to dine with. You can sit and just get a drink at the bar. There is K-pop music and videos playing at all times on various screens. The bathroom is small and for single use at a time. There’s a karaoke bar right next to it. There’s lots of fun food places in the plaza that I’d like to try. Don’t worry about not being able to pronounce any of the food names. The staff is very friendly, and will help you. I can’t wait to come back and try some different dishes.“

I've also tried a few appetizers and I've enjoyed everything. I usually call in my orders and they're quick to fulfill and orders are easy to pick up. I hope this store never closes in Northfield!“

“We always order to go from here. The servers are nice. We love their pho and of course their bahn mi. I toast the bahn mi and hmmm so good. Its just smaller niw but full of meat inside. I havent ordered anything else but those are my 2 fave. The place is typical resto, nice but nothing flashy. Street parking only but there is a nearby public parking.“

These bowls are so filling and delicious and Vivian always has the greatest attitude making the best out of my day.(A year later) I just had to add to this review because I still stop in to get food here occasionally and it still taste amazing, every time I see a new employee there so nice. Just today I ordered for pick-up and they drew a panda on my bag which cheered me up and when I pulled out my bowl they have filled it up so generously. I love this place“

“Wow !!! It's hard to find halal korean fried chicken and when i heard bonchon skokie is halal, i just rushed there and tried it for the first time and boy o boy it was delicious, i loved it. Tried drumsticks, wings and strips and spicy flavour. It was mouth watering and perfectly fried. Now this is my go to fried chicken place. Thanks guys for this halal spot. Highly recommended.“

TM has grown on me big time, I looove this place!Roughly 3 weeks later that month, my family & I were in Vernon Hills and my wife was asking what the dinner plans were. I knew Mellody Farm boasts an extensive array of great eats so TM sounded downright mouthwatering.I figured we haven't tried the VH location yet and my stepdaughter who hasn't tried TM yet was back from college for Christmas break so it was good timing.It's amazing what you can do with a short menu and convert it into an expanding sensation. Not sure about the slightly lower ratings at this location compared to the Gurnee location but the value of the food, cleanliness of the venue and service are all consistently good.Easily at least a couple of times a month I gotta get my fill of the madness and this place will always hit the spot.
