“Straight 5's all around, had the queso birria tacos (with handmade tortillas) and the chicken tinga empanada and it was so delicious and plenty of chicken was packed in it. The birria tacos were a good size and the broth was packed with flavor and they had had a lot of barbacoa and cheese in them. The empanada was a good size and topped with shredded lettuce and sour cream. Plus they have a spicy homemade hot sauce that really packs a punch. Overall the food is incredible, as I used to go to Original Taco and before that Tacos El Norte...but compared to here they don't even come close as the quality exceeds both restaurants. The service is excellent and the ambience is like sitting in Mexico listening to ranchera music, this guero absolutely loved it! Some of the negative reviews seem really sketchy as the reviews really don't speak for the food because I have tried a lot of it and it has not disappointed or made me sick..makes me believe they work for the other compeitors considering none of them offer handmade tortillas or good meat.“

“Good, no chips or salsa for free, but the salsas and guacamole everything was delicious when you don't feel like cooking at home place is small but there's a few tables to sit at and enjoy we came at 2pm on a Saturday it wasn't too crowded the waitress was very pleasant food was out fast which was nice but obviously because there's wasn't a crowd. They have Bathrooms which is nice overall 10/10. Parking is ok as well it's in a small Plaza so we were able to find parking upfront“

“Nice little place I like to stop in for lunch or dinner on the way home from work. My favorite by far is the grilled chicken combo that includes rice, beans, grilled green onions and a drink. The chicken is cooked to perfection with the right amount of marinade/seasoning. The beans are more of a soup and is very good. Also included are a few tortillas that I like to mop up the juices from the chicken with... so delicious! Always looking forward to eating here!“

Its closer to home and now I don't have to drive all the way to west dundee to go to the original. great food, great service. everything always tastes so fresh and we've never had anything off the menu we didn't love. This is something I base my impressions on first and these were made in house and the salsa, both AMAZING, got me excited for our meal.I ordered 3 tacos, rice and beans and was blown away by the freshness AND quality ABD quanity of meat.
