“I normally don’t leave reviews but this place deserved a good review. The food here is amazing I normally get the orange chicken and it’s the best I’ve ever had. The sauce is amazing and doesn’t compare to other places I’ve tried.“
“I've been going there fine in and pick up for about 11 years, the staff is super friendly they know you by name after so many years. The food is super fresh and looking healthy comparing with other same type foods,I think that they do not use MSG in their food.Great food and place ,don't hesitate using them.“

“The food is absolutely delicious. Fast, convenient, and oh so much flavor! I had the fried chicken steak jianbing and we also tried the original egg waffle and salted egg yolk waffle. Very excited to have them in the neighborhood and already can't wait to stop in again.“

“The food here is simply amazing from start to finish in each bite you taste the authentic way. The portions are reasonably great. The atmosphere is even better. The service is Top-tier The picture below is a takeout order with a combination of chicken, fried rice, sweet-and-sour chicken, Mongolian beef and of course, an eggroll. This is a family owned business located right in the heart of Elmwood Park on North Avenue if you have not tried them for or carry out or delivery what are you waiting for because you’re missing out hibachi, which is located in their back dining area separate they offer Specialty drinks to your Vikings this is one of my favorite“

“My family and I have been going to this restaurant ever since my childhood. This is the best Chinese food that we ever get. I currently live in the suburbs, the Chinese food around there cannot be compared to Peking Mandarin’s food. Their Mongolian beef is out of this world as well as their Jjampong. I highly recommend this place!“

“If you read any of the reviews for Al's Drive In online, people have a ton of nostalgia for this place. I find nostalgia for a restaurant can play a negative role for those who don't have the association, but that wasn't the case for me who only ate here for the first time today. The Chicago dog and super taco were solid but the combination fried rice was the hero for me. Never thought l'd find this kind of wok hei flavor from a Chicago Red Hots institution in Maywood, IL that would remind me so much of the fried rice I grew up with at my Chinese immigrant family's restaurant in Arizona. Honestly just throw in some bean sprouts and you'd have a 1:1 copy. I may not have the same nostalgia that a lot of the usuals have with Al's, but that familiar taste of home is so present in every bite of this fried rice. I'm immediately transported to teenage me devouring a large combination fried rice at my own family's restaurant after working a full day's 12hr shift in the summer and immediately passing out in my bed when I got home. I wish I had started coming here sooner.“

“Good food. I usually hit sushi spots, ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI. I was kind of iffy about trying a new spot for almost 30, but for the new experience I had to try. Sushi was fresh and delicious. Plenty of flavor. Crab Rangoon is good. Might actually be a new spot for me.“

“Great food and friendly, welcoming service. We love traveling in this general region and trying different restaurants. We were craving Chinese and decided to give Rose's a try. So glad we did! We were immediately greeted and seated. We ordered several different dishes: sesame chicken, shrimp egg foo young, shrimp fried rice, BBQ ribs, egg drop soup, and egg rolls. Everything tasted fresh and I especially loved the sesame chicken which had a nice crispness and good flavor. The egg rolls were also the best peanut butter egg rolls that we've tried in the Chicago area so far.We will definitely be back when we are in the area.“

“Listen to the good reviews!! This place is bomb dot com. The food is super flavorful and they give good portions for a good price! I got a pork fried rice, steamed dumplings (they were huge!!) and a sesame chicken and everything was delicious! Rice was not too greasy, chicken was not too sweet, the dumplings were delicious despite the outer shell tasting a little funny but that's probably because I ordered them steamed instead of pan fried, but I do recommend this place. They're very generous and overall better quality than most of the Chinese restaurants here in Chicago, also I love the little thank you notes they write on the brown bag with a sharpie, it's so adorable!!“

“Every now and then you run across a hidden gem. Like a former Chinatown chef who has opened his own place. I have enjoyed superb Chinese food from this restaurant for decades. You know it's good when you'll go out of your way for simple dishes like their BBQ pork fried rice. Try the shrimp in garlic sauce, or orange chicken. Most highly recommended. Family atmosphere.“

“I was having a particular tough day and decided to treat myself to dumplings. The food is not only delicious, but the restaurant left a note. A note is always nice, but after a long day this note provided a little bit of a reminder that there are good people out there. I did need to remember to relax. And now after some great dumplings and even better service, I can say I have relaxed.“

“The food was delicious. It was just not clear about their menu; there were none at the restaurant so there were discrepancies between what I saw online and what I was told I could order. While waiting 12 year olds came in and out with ice cream bars and I couldn't see where they got them from. Glencoe is bizarre.“

“I find some of the low reviews here baffling. I think some people may be confusing this restaurant with other Chinese restaurants due to its rather non descript name. Make no mistake, the food here is excellent and punches way above its price point.Coming in the first time I was pessimistic. It seemed your standard pre prepared food menu ready to dish out quickly to the lunch crowd panda express style. I quickly became a huge fan after eating large well prepared portions I would expect from a normal sit down restaurant. Yes it's your standard generic fare but made so much better.Great food, great price. Appreciate these places, the owners care about making something good.“

“I loved this place so much ! I had the most freshest juiciest egg roll fried hard and a flavorful vegetable low mein. My only regret was not getting a larger portion! Next time I’ll know better. I can’t wait to come back when I’m in area again“

“A family run restaurant with great food and a friendly staff that makes you feel welcome. The appetizer are start to every meal. A selection of appetizer and splitting a main course is often enough for two.Dietary restrictions: The food is made to order and meets the personal needs.“

“I am not local, this is a regular go-to place for a friend, so when I visit with her, she wants to bring me. I had a Chinese Eggplant with chicken dish, flavorful and spicy. Also had some nigiri sushi, all very good. The Black Tobiko was plentiful and fresh. The Tamago and Inari, which are types of sushi that are deceptively simple seeming but really show a chef's knowledge and artistry, were excellent. I'm sure I will go again.“

“BLOW MY MIND!!!! When in doubt I'll order from here but never tried the specials so I took the popular choice and was totally impressed. Service/ delivery was polite & lightening fast. The orange chicken was done to perfection. Egg roll & fried rice included. I got a drink and ordered a bag of fortune cookies that I'm still working on. Anything I've ordered a LA carte has been really good but a lunch special left me with a few cents change. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place!Vegetarian options: Buddha Delight!!!!!“

“Always on point. Food is cooked as ordered. Though the pricing increased still decent amount of food.Vegetarian options: There are no vegetarian foods hereParking: Laramie is busy and the parking is one of those if you see a spot better grab it. I wouldn't suggest double parking in front of the restaurant becomes a clutterWheelchair accessibility: Access into store has a ramp and threshold. But there is no handicap parking spot“

“I have for five years been eating in - restaurant meals at Great Beijing, and never a bad meal. I recently ordered delivery, just to find out that they don't do it. No problem . I am handicapped and a man who is the carryout supervisor with the American name Steve, allowed me to park in the lot, give him the credit card, he walked it back to the register, and brought out my food almost immediately because I find it difficult to get in and out of my own car. Very accommodating.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is ground level, including the washrooms.“
“Food was great. Ate on location with colleagues first. Pass the taste test. Talked to Yan. She was very friendly and helpful with my catering questions. Ordered catering for 80 people. Delivery was on time. Food received great review. It was more than enough to feed 80. Will cater again in the future.“

“The quintessential Chinese carry-out is conveniently located in this minimall next to a liquor store and Aldi's. The food is textbook right-on; fast pick-up and friendly staff. Yes, probably three small tables but for the area hotels, forest preserves and playlot, you're close to everything (for me, it's under 10 minutes from home). Order over $28 and free crab rangoon; order higher and either jumbo shrimp fried rice or over $50, it's orange chicken. You really can't go wrong BUT be aware from the firey icons on the menu: they'll be hot. It's a sweet find!“

“Luck Wok seemed like a convenient lunch spot, so I decided to try it out. The lunch specials were reasonably priced, so I opted for the Kung Pao Chicken. However, I was disappointed with the tiny portion size, reminiscent of airplane food. Additionally, as a fan of spicy dishes, I was taken aback by how overwhelmingly spicy it was. Overall, while the pricing is fair, the portion size and spice level left much to be desired.“

“This charming Chinese restaurant features a menu focused on Sichuan spicy cuisine, and it did not disappoint. To start, I ordered the Sichuan spicy wontons, which were packed with flavor and had just the right amount of heat. For the main course, I tried the Sichuan spicy chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was tender, and the spicy sauce had a perfect balance of flavors. If you're a fan of Sichuan spicy food, I highly recommend visiting Asian Bistro. The food is authentic and flavorful, making it a must-try for anyone looking for a taste of traditional Chinese cuisine.“

“They're fine for what they are which is a city version of a strip mall Chinese restaurant. It's not particularly inexpensive unless you get a lunch or dinner combo. That's their strength. Otherwise they sometimes close a little early if it's slow. They're not very friendly though not rude. And the quality and timeliness is very inconsistent. My advice, go well before closing and get a combo. If you need more than 3 packets of sauce total, ask them or you won't get it. And they never include hot mustard sauce if you like it, which I do. It's average but not bad.“

“This place is amazing, it's a shame the shopping center is going thru some ups and downs. We drive all the way out from Bartlett when we crave it. Our go to has always been the spicy seafood soup. Ask for extra vegetables, can be had mild or spicy.“
