“Nonna Silvia's is always a positive dining experience! The food is delicious and the service is excellent. They have such a great variety of dishes and are truly an authentic Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. It's not too loud so you can easily have a conversation. I highly recommend Nonna Silvia's for everyday dining and special occasions.“

“If you are looking for a fantastic Italian dinner, this has to be on your list of restaurants to frequent. Marco, the owner, is dedicated. They recently changed their drink menu that he spent weeks working on with staff, and I can tell you my entire party was pleasantly surprised. We are treated like family every time we attend. The food is fantastic, there really is not a menu item that is not good. I personally love the gnocchi with vodka sauce and fried calamari, but you really can't make a bad choice. Jennifer was our waitress, and the service really felt like we were family.“

“Hands down one of the best restaurants I've been to. A beautiful place with a great vibe. They have a bar in the main dining area which is great if you're looking to hangout after dinner. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Everyone was so friendly and fun! Every dish we had was SPECTACULAR!!!. We ordered about 8 dishes and every single one was delicous. You can tell they use high quality products/ingredients. Lastly, the price we paid for this 10 STAR experience was too low in my opinion. I would easily pay triple the amount for this place. We'll be going back very soon. Maybe this weekend! ;) 10 STARS for Bar Salotto!!!“

“Did not try the food here but the ice cream here was decent. I got the cookies and cream, didn’t taste like traditional cookies and cream, mostly chocolate and oreo ?.Restaurant smelled good, and pizza looked very appetizing. You should try it out if you’re looking for dessert or some italian food.“

“The ambience is very nice. Less Italian more American and contemporary. Service was excellent. The host took special care to ensure the right wine pairing with the food. The three cheese Gnocchi was fantastic with a delectable tangy sauce. The Burrata for appetizer was very fresh and succulent. Our son had grilled chicken. He said it was delicious and sumptuous. Overall a great experience.Vegetarian options: A decent selection of vegetarian. The portions are a bit smaller but for good enough if not sharing.“

Verrrrrry happy with my visit.Wheelchair accessibility: The parking lot and store are on the same level. The curb allows wheels on the left hand side of the parking lot as well. The chairs are movable.“

“Visited Chicago and my best friend took me here because she said it was really good and she wanted to come again. She was not wrong. It was delicious. We got the burrata, the Caesar salad to share. Both were absolutely tasty. The Burrata came with peaches, which was the perfect pairing. I got the linguine with prosciutto and that was so good. I wish it had more cheese in it since it was melted in the wheel of cheese but it was still delicious. The owner even came over and checked in with us and I thought that was nice touch. The only critique I could give was that it was a bit loud in there and the waiter was a tad slow for us, but overall a really great experience.“

“Truly a family-owned, family-run and family-centric establishment. We've witnessed them grow since they opened in 1999, and their craft is perfected. Whether you want a quiet date night with some ridiculously delicious pasta and wine; or a coffee and Gelato; or a quick lunch of a sandwich, pizza or arancini and pasta salad... you can't go wrong. They're expert caterers and you won't have to worry about a thing if you're hosting an event of any kind. Love!“

“Mino's is my favorite restaurant on the North Shore. The staff are friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The food is consistent and delicious, with menus changing seasonally. Tonight we had artichokes (a staple), steak tartare, halibut with beurre blanc, chicken piccata and a tuna nicoise with anchovies and white beans - a perfect light dish. Other nights we love the fresh pasta and pizza and salads. In the summer, I could sit for hours on the patio. The bar makes such a good cocktail and the Italian wine selection fits any food selection. It's a neighborhood spot but worth a destination trip. I can't sing it's praises enough.“

“We were a group of 8 to celebrate a big birthday. Our server, Carmen, was super good about checking on the timing of ordering the various courses. We were not rushed and the swank space contributed to making the meal very special. The lobster risotto is divine, definitely shareable after appetizers and the generous salads included with each entree. Other diners enjoyed the duck special, the whitefish, and a really good rib eye. Nice for a special occasion or any time you want to have a great meal.“

“This is one of my favorite spots in the city. I love so many of the dishes here. The calamari, the Green Goddess Pizza, all the pastas. It's a reliable stand-by but also a lovely treat each and every time. They make great martinis as a bonus. And the wine list is perfect.“

“I have been shopping at Nottoli for 25+ years. Their Italian sausage is the best. Yesterday, I called in an order for a party tray of 40 mini sub sandwiches at 2:15 pm. They were ready at 3:15 for pick up. The sandwiches were “award winning”. My wife brought them to a rehearsal for her church choir. Their staff is top notch. If you have not visited the store please do, you will not be disappointed.“

“I came here with my dad just today and I have to say, probably the best place for pizza I’ve ever been too. It was around one-ish so it wasn’t busy. Me and my dad had a 12’inch pizza that was pepperoni and on the other side special. Let me tell you it was the best pizza ever. The wait was a little bit long but it was sooo worth it.Parking: There aren’t too many spots since the only parking is along the street but when it isn’t busy there is plenty of roomKid-friendliness: There is nothing bad to bring your kid to this place. In my opinion let them try the best pizza they will ever taste!“

“BYG appears to be back to the ways they were before the pandemic of 2020. Their portions are generous again as before I felt there was major cutbacks in quality and quantity due to businesses suffering due to Covid. Loved the pork kebab (Souvlaki), tzatziki sauce along with the Greek potatoes and rice pilaf.“

“Panino's Pizzeria was, frankly, a very pleasant surprise. We agreed to meet friends here - they had recommended it. It looked like so many run-of-the-mill pizza/Italian food joints in the Chicago area, that we weren't expecting much. Boy, were we wrong. This is NOT nouvelle cuisine Italian-style, but rather stereotypical, Italian-American food that is hearty and quite tasty. Gratis bread to start the meal, followed by pork meatballs in red sauce and burrata. My wife had the lasagna - very nice portion, and I had the pork chops with broccoli. The wait staff (Fred) was bend over backwards accommodating us. The fried dough with chocolate was amazing. The prices are moderate. And none of us had pizza! We're certain to return to try some (they serve several styles). Huge thumbs up!“
