“Don’t order the short rib mini sandwiches! They were 90 percent fat. When I informed the waitress she indicated that there is always fat on those sandwiches. My sandwich was mostly grizzle and fat. My friend had the same thing but hers at least had some meat.“

“I love Lola's Diner! The price of the food is absolutely amazing especially for how huge the portions are. The food always tasted great as well. There are also a bunch of options and they're very open to supplementing foods. The diner itself looks super cute, it has a retro old diner look to it with teal booths and chairs, just a nice environment overall. The service is great, the waiters and waitresses are always kind and quick, especially Jose! The food also doesn't take a long time to come out even when every table is full and they're super busy!“

“Great welcome by hostesses even though we arrived before opening time; she sat us immediately. The Rolls and Sashimi are standard good. Server was not very knowledgeable of menu. Our friends do know the place and ordered a “black rice” that is different. Had a nice bottle of Gruner wine. Overall a good experience“

“From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, the staff here are fantastic. Upon entering we were greeted with a warm good morning from the cooks and the waitresses, even though they were slammed. We took spots at the counter so we could watch the cooks work their magic. Those two were so much fun to watch while we ate. They’re very skilled and put out delicious food. Everything they made looked amazing, from the omelettes to the salads. We ordered a corned beef hash and two eggs with ham and hash browns. Everything was fantastic. We can’t wait to go back!Cash only.“

“After trying this restaurant for the first time a few months ago, we couldn't wait to return. The food is incredible and the service is great! We we're visiting from out of town and decided to try this place for my birthday dinner. We got the scallops and mushroom risotto, lobster bisque, prime burger and shrimp dinner. This was the best scallops and risotto I ever had! If you've never been make sure you go with an empty stomach because the portion sizes are big! Absolutely fantastic food. The dining room layout and decor leaves something to be desired, but aside from that, what a great experience! The waiters, manager and staff were very friendly and attentive. We were all so happy with what we ordered and satisfied. Will definitely go back again!“

“Panino's Pizzeria was, frankly, a very pleasant surprise. We agreed to meet friends here - they had recommended it. It looked like so many run-of-the-mill pizza/Italian food joints in the Chicago area, that we weren't expecting much. Boy, were we wrong. This is NOT nouvelle cuisine Italian-style, but rather stereotypical, Italian-American food that is hearty and quite tasty. Gratis bread to start the meal, followed by pork meatballs in red sauce and burrata. My wife had the lasagna - very nice portion, and I had the pork chops with broccoli. The wait staff (Fred) was bend over backwards accommodating us. The fried dough with chocolate was amazing. The prices are moderate. And none of us had pizza! We're certain to return to try some (they serve several styles). Huge thumbs up!“

“Cream of the Crepe catered a baby shower I hosted for 30 guests. The owner was so helpful on placing the order and choosing the menu. He was always responsive when I had a question. On the day of the event, he and his daughter brought everything early and got all set up ( didn’t take up much space,) each guest got to order 2 crepes- plenty of food! They were efficient and cleaned up everything! I would love to use them again!“

“If you are looking for a fantastic Italian dinner, this has to be on your list of restaurants to frequent. Marco, the owner, is dedicated. They recently changed their drink menu that he spent weeks working on with staff, and I can tell you my entire party was pleasantly surprised. We are treated like family every time we attend. The food is fantastic, there really is not a menu item that is not good. I personally love the gnocchi with vodka sauce and fried calamari, but you really can't make a bad choice. Jennifer was our waitress, and the service really felt like we were family.“

“This is my family's staple breakfast joint. They can reasonably accommodate dairy allergies and other dietary restrictions. We have always have a great meal and leftovers to take home. It feels cozy and family-friendly without feeling crowded, and parking is easy. When we have guests from out of town, we always take them to The Original Pancake House.Dietary restrictions: One of the only breakfast places around I can safely eat that. Took much of my family here after my baby shower, and they were kind and patient about accommodating multiple different dietary restrictions.Parking: Lots of free parking. We never have to stress about park when we go here, and there are multiple free lots around that area, as well.Kid-friendliness: Has highchairs and booster seats with a kid friendly menu and atmosphere.
