“Detroit native living in Texas I wanted a corned beef sandwich before leaving Chicago. Went in ordered 2 mile high sandwiches for me and my boyfriend before heading to the airport. I wanted to taste the sandwiches to make sure they would hit. I only got corned beef from Detroit and my favorites are from coney islands. We took one bite of this sandwich turned around and got 2 more. The corned beef melts like butter sandwiches are amazing“

“I randomly stopped in here while on vacation. Boy was it delicious!! There was a line out the door so I knew it had to be good. The line went incredibly fast and the food was so fresh and good. I got the California chicken sandwich on a flatbread. My only regret was not ordering more! The people working were very friendly. Great atmosphere, easy and convenient set up! “The negative reviews here don’t make any sense. Airport food sucks. This, does not. Generous portions of meat and noticeably good quality, served on bread they actually bake themselves instead of getting from a factory. For airport food, you really can’t do better. Staff is also consistently friendly and moves at a great pace for how busy they are.“

“First and foremost, the staff of any restaurant are the ones that truly keep an establishment running and thriving and are the heart and representation of the business.The hostess / order-taker and crew at Stacked and Folded, were super friendly to us and offered such great customer service!The atmosphere inside is very nice and offers an elevated casyal food experience.Even though the average taco is around $6.50, it is very large and offers a lot of the actual ingredients. This was the case with my short rib taco. The short rib taco did offer a little bit of that spicy hot but not too much which was good, and yes, was slightly sweet in the sauce as advertised. Overall, the flavor combination was very good and would rate it a 3.9 out of 5. It was just tender and juicy enough, but could even be a little bit more tender in the meat. I know it is not easy when it comes to short ribs and believe me they did a good job here! It is worth getting!We had also ordered the short rib sandwich, but I recommend to have the short rib in the taco form. It just taste even better with the corn tortillas!The sweet potato fries are a five out of five star! Some of the best I’ve ever had in my life. My advice based on the best shrimp tacos I have ever encountered or made are taking thawed raw shrimp, then marinate them of course, and grill them briefly and just right so that they come out juicy and tender and with that amazing flavor profile.That would make your shrimp tacos a five out of five.“

“I always have the Rammy’s Radical Italian Beef. It is one of the best tasting beef’s I have ever had. If they had a footlong option I would definitely get it. The flavors mesh so well that is an explosion of deliciousness with every bite. Staff is always friendly and eager to serve. Love this place.“

“I think I've only been inside this location to replace a drink or get some condiments that weren't added to my order or something. Otherwise it's mainly drive-thru. Service is usually pretty good and haven't had any issues with making an order improperly. Some of the best sandwiches for the price. Especially the 2 regular subs deal. Keep one for lunch the next day letting all the good stuff marinate overnight. So good.“

“Co-workers wanted to meet up for lunch and I am so glad they choose this place. They have some table and chairs inside, but it can be a tight fit during the lunch rush. The employees are helpful, and the place looked very clean. The menu has a lot of options, and I was happily surprised they have gluten free bread which was the best gluten free bread I have ever had a sandwich on. The contents on the sandwich were flavorful and you could tell they were fresh. It came with a side salad which had a great dressing on it. Overall, the meal was worth the price, and I would recommend trying them out yourself. I did spot a homemade galeto selection, but didn't indulge on this first trip, but I may need to check that out and report back in the future.“

“We usually order for pickup. Food is always ready on time and very well prepared. Relatively inexpensive compared to similar places. All around very good. Order is usually accurate but if there is a mistake they are very nice about making it right. In fact they actually comped me on some extra soup when I accidentally ordered a cup instead of a bowl! Also their rewards program pays off regularly so I'm almost always getting a few bucks off the bill or something for free.“

“Sandwich Club is one of the best kosher Restaurants in Chicago, the Donny is fabulous, the problem is they are extremely cheap about their sauce, they switched up the meat from a couple years back, and now the Donny is more Dry, i used to ask them to make sure that it’s not dry bc it doesn’t taste as good and then they would charge me .50¢ (I don’t care about .50¢ but it’s the principal that bothers me) other than that their firecracker is delicious!“

But I used to eat here regularly when I worked in the area.Alot of other Al's have closed, I'm happy this one hasn't.Chicago has a lot of Italian Beef places, and reviews for this category is very subjective. But I have always liked Al's over Portillos, Mr.Beef, or Buona. But Johnny's on North Ave will always be top shelf for me.But this Al's has a bigger menu and is on the otherside of town, so if you're in the area swing by for a bite, most people aren't driving to Johnny's from Niles if they weren't planning on it from the start.“

“I liked the remodeled look of the subway and I absolutely love the service. As soon as I walk in I get a greeting and a smile from the employee. The food always smells and looks fresh. The bread is super soft as well, other subways have hard or stale bread but not this one. I will be going to this subway in the future and I highly recommend going here for a quick bite to eat.“

“I have not been a sub sandwich eater for most of my life. I am over 50. I went to the Oak Brook Terrace location to get my wife her favorite original Italian on white. I decided to try a Philly cheese steak on white. It was the best new thing I've eaten in my life. Alecia who manages the location was so nice and accommodating. We have a franchise near our house but I will always go see Alecia for all future orders. They know what they are doing. I went back again last night and got another of our same order. I complimented Alecia and told her how happy we were with the consistency of their food and service. I hope the owner reads this. “Ordered a footling veggie sandwich last weekend and it was made fast with veggies that looked fresh. Customer service was decent, however, I'm knocking one star off because the person taking my order didn't say hello or anything. We awkwardly looked at each other twice (each time for about 3 seconds) before I finally said "Hi, let me get a footling veggie delite on wheat". I'm hoping that this was a one time thing and that the workers always greet their customers.“

All in all, my king size roast beef was delicious. I will ask for more oil & vinegar.Parking: It's going to be a tight fit. You'll be better off using the drive-thru, IMO. Intercom does NOT work. You have to order your food at the window.“

“When I saw this deli open I thought, ho hum, just another deli. This is not ‘just another deli’. Selection is great, food has been outstanding. I especially like using their iPhone app. Easy to order and make customizations to your sandwich. I like to substitute the wheat wrap on my Spicy Southwest Chicken. The Chicken Tortilla soup is also fantastic - just enough heat for me. My wife loves the Savannah Chop salad. If you plan to eat in, study the menu before you go. You’ll have a hard time deciding! In my experience the prices for all there items we’ve ordered are reasonable. Example - the Savannah Chop salad was $8.89. Not bad for a large salad with grilled chicken. Support this business because they are a differentiator.“

I called with a last minute catering order (less than 4 hours notice for platters for 150 people) and they were able to accommodate us and were gracious while doing so. “Tldr; $12 for so much serotonin!!- my sandwich (#1), drink, and chips, were $12 exactly.I walked in, ordered a sandwich, and walked out, and had such a nice experience that I decided to write this review.First of all, this location is so extremely clean. There isn't a sticky mess by the soda, no trash, not even crumbs of anything on the floor! Seriously gave me a sense of ease I often don't get when I find myself eating food outside of the house.Secondly, they made my sandwich with care. Like I can taste that the person who made it, made it like they were going to eat it. It isn't thrown together at all, and, as always, the sandwich was made and wrapped before I could put ice in my cup.Third, and most importantly, the incredible staff. Not overly cheerly in a way that made me super aware of just how performative our society compells service workers to behave, but in a genuinely kind way.
