It look some time before we were able to order. We also waited a while to flag down someone to get sauces or other things we needed. Besides the service being a little slow, the food was delicious and the drinks were good and pretty strong (but I'm also a lightweight..?) Since there weren't too many people in the restaurant, it was overall a peaceful dinner for us. Overall, nothing too crazy or extraordinary, but also nothing horrible. I'd come back for more bloomin onion for sure.”

“We were here on a Sunday afternoon for a birthday party. It was less crowded than I anticipated, so it was easy to find games to play. Maybe it is less busy in December during the lead up to the holidays? I’ve definitely been here when it’s busy, so it was nice to not have to wait, especially if you pay by the minute to play games. There is usually plenty of parking available here since it’s part of a large shopping area. The staff was pleasant enough, since I know it can’t be easy to work in such a loud environment. We did not eat any of the food this time, but the pizza is good enough. It’s a fun place to take kids for a special treat. And as a grownup, I had fun playing skeeball and the TMNT video game with the kids. I mean, it’s a Chuck E. Cheese. It’s going to be loud and wild, but this location is relatively clean and easy to get to. Let go, tap into your inner child, and have a good time with your kids.”

Not inexpensive, but portions are huge, and vibe is transformational. If we lived nearby, we would eat here each payday as an intimate night out to catch up on one another. Romantic.”

The Skokie Chamber recently had an event at Take Flight and there were only positive remarks about the ambiance, atmosphere, location, and drinks served. She was an excellent cocktail coach explaining how to make delicious cocktails with their in house distilled liquor. PLUS- t *think* you can bring food in from @Village Inn around the corner! “I don't live far, and I rarely visit Zad or Pita Inn, but I needed something for lunch that wasn't fast food. I ordered the Zad lunch special to go. I was kinda surprised it wasn't busier inside because I know the Pita Inn gets packed for lunchtime. I didn't check my meal until I got home, but I thought the lunch special used to come with shawarma, too. It came with chicken, beef kabobs, falafel, salad, and rice. It also had the sauce and pita on the side. Overall, it's not a bad meal, but tbh I've had much better Middle Eastern food, so I don't see myself visiting Pita Inn/Zad very often.”
