“In a town that has it all, The Patio stands out for its great staff, amazing atmosphere, and flavorful fare! It really started with the staff. From the time we walked in the door the staff was amazing!! Our waiter Dante was absolutely phenomenal. He didn’t rush us, gathered our drink order, and checked in at just the right times to allow us to make the most of our experience. We started with the French onion soup and Caesar salad. Both were delicious. The Caesar had a bit of its own flare with a soft boiled egg and fresh grated cheese. Next we had the tuna tartare. Fresh tuna coupled with wontons, sesame, and just the right amount of sauce. Our dinner entrees finished off a great date night in the big city. The filet was cooked perfectly and the lobster Mac and cheese had large bits of lobster and a crisp crumble atop a bed of melted cheeses! We can’t recommend the Patio enough! Overall a wonderful night we won’t forget anytime soon!!“

“Came here to celebrate my anniversary and wow, the staff was so amazing. I wish I could remember everyone's names but my visit was on 5.14 at around 1pm. The entire staff was kind and made our experience! Devon was our server and he ensured we had a pleasant experience. He is very kind and down to earth. Looking forward to returning soon!“

“I was there this past Mother’s Day I was in town visiting my daughter and she made us a reservation. The food was just okay and a little cold I’m sure partially because when the food runner brought the food to our table he set it up and left it was 7 min later when our server showed up to plate the table. Lastly once we were clearly done with our meal it took approximately 20 minutes to get someone to not package our food but to Hand us a box then an additional 15 to find our server to get a check. Now I will say it was very busy being Mother’s Day and all,but I do not believe that is not an excuse for such poor service. I have enjoyed this restaurant several times on my visits to Chicago, but I think this will be my last… Such a shame.“

“My Son surprised me with a birthday dinner party at Steak 48 on May 13, 2024. We had a party of nine. The food was delicious, the drinks were outstanding. The dinner rolls were exceptionally tasty. I really enjoyed myself, Except the waiter. He was RUDE, non personable, pressured and rushed us to make up our mine for selecting our food. Nothing about him was nice. The party was well over a total of $800.00 and I felt as though we should have received better service. The waiter that filled out water glasses was very nice as well as the gentleman that brought out the food. The young lady that assisted with the side orders was so sweet and helpful. The only person in that entire restaurant that was mean and rude was our Waiter. Please avoid this man at all cost.“

“was here a couple of days ago, and this place just never fails to please. the steak sizes are not huge, but perfect size for a meal. it is truly family owned, mama has been here everytime i've been here. it is clean, service is attentive, and the drinks are honest. and hopefully they never change the comfort and ambiance as that is really the best! once you have been here, you'll never forget it and will come back. the only complaint that i have is that the flat iron steak had too many tendons (?). the rib eye and the new york were perfect. order those. and do get the shrimp appetizer, that is just fantastic. if you're coming with friends, any table will do, but if you're coming with a special person, try to get one of the screened in tables for more privacy. this is one of the few restaurants in chicago that offers that. and so you know, this place is extremely comfortable and easily accessible.“

“We visited this amazing establishment last night and ordered the filet and the Manhattan strip for our entrées with a side of the mushrooms, and it was possibly one of the best steaks we had had. Our server and Jesse was wonderful, and when he wasn’t available home, there was another manager who came and brought items out, so there was no delay in service while he was attending another customer and socialized at the table. We dined outside on the patio underneath the heat lamp and lights. The Barn was the perfect atmosphere for our relaxing evening together. We were very pleased with all that we ordered as well as the service. We would highly recommend the Barn restaurant to others.“

“After trying this restaurant for the first time a few months ago, we couldn't wait to return. The food is incredible and the service is great! We we're visiting from out of town and decided to try this place for my birthday dinner. We got the scallops and mushroom risotto, lobster bisque, prime burger and shrimp dinner. This was the best scallops and risotto I ever had! If you've never been make sure you go with an empty stomach because the portion sizes are big! Absolutely fantastic food. The dining room layout and decor leaves something to be desired, but aside from that, what a great experience! The waiters, manager and staff were very friendly and attentive. We were all so happy with what we ordered and satisfied. Will definitely go back again!“

“Checked this place out as I always enjoy a great steak. The menu is a bit limited, but everything I ordered was very delicious and well prepared. Started with empanada's that were nicely crisped and came with a side of chimichurri sauce. Then came a fresh mango salad with a delicious dressing. Finally, I ordered the 16oz ribeye which was cooked to a perfect medium rare and had a side of tri-colored mash potatoes and a spinach mash (green colored one) which was very unique and delicious. The restaurant was empty when we ate there, so its difficult to judge the ambience in that kind of situation. Definitely would return and the food was delicious!“

“Tavern on Rush has been known as one of the best places in all of Chicago for the last 25 years. If you sit inside or on the patio you will not be disappointed! You will likely run in friends or celebrities at this chicago staple! All of the food selections are traditionally great options. The chicken Parmesan was a favorite this time around. The Seabass my friends raved of. The espresso martinis and wine where exactly what we needed. Hopefully we’ll make it back before the end of the year!“

“I love Nisos and always rave about it, telling friends and people I meet that they need to go! I was here with my best friend having dinner, and it was her first time at Nisos. At first, the service was excellent. Our waiter allowed us to order off the happy hour menu with just five minutes left to spare. He regularly checked on us and was kind until the end of the dinner when I noticed the price of our drinks was not the price on the happy hour menu. When I politely told him the price was in accurate, he started getting really snarky. Apparently they hadn't updated the online menu prices. I was taking it back by his attitude because I was very nice about asking and understanding that the pricing was off. I don't think I'll ever recommend anyone to go here again and I won't be back any time soon.“

She made me feel so special for my birthday dinner with friends - the table was decorated, she came by often to check on us, gave us great recommendations on the food and drinks. My friend and I each ordered the prix fixe menu and it should have ended with a dessert for each of us. Danielle brought out a wonderful birthday cheesecake dessert with a candle in it for me, but my friend never got her dessert. When I had asked about it I think she may have forgotten that we had gotten the meal set and in the end never returned. With such the great experience we just let it go, but it would have been nice to get that dessert for my friend.“

“We ate lunch at Michael Jordan’s Steak House in Chicago today. We were greeted with a warm welcome and the hostess helped us with our parking situation. Our server was friendly and quick. We were given a brief tutorial by our server Rafael Trinidad on the differences on wet and dry aged steaks and the different cuts. We then made our selections. WOW! Dry aged steak will spoil you for any other steak! And Rafael made our visit special. He was friendly and engaging without being overbearing. Just the right amount of interaction. Kinzie Chophouse made our 1st trip ever to Chicago fantastic!Parking: We parked at the Mart Park Wells parking garage. Once you take the elevator down, Kinzie Chophouse is literally right across the street. Get your parking ticket validated for a great discount: $13 instead of $60. Fantastic!“

“This was our 1st time at Harry Caray's Rosemont for lunch. Nice ambience, very good food and excellent service. Kudos to server Maria for her fine service.
