“10/10 recommend! My boyfriend is Peruvian and he was so excited to see we have an authentic Peruvian restaurant here in Indiana. Everything was delicious and their sauces were incredible! He states it was just as authentic as his family members would make it! We started with the Papa Ala Huancaina as an appetizer and for dinner we had the Lomo Saltado, Green Spaghetti con bistec, and the Pollo A La Plancha! I had to try their fried Platains and for dessert we had their Tres Leches Cake! I wish this place had more attention!”

“Rarely do I take the time to “recommend” a restaurant, but my wonderful experience this past Saturday deserved the recognition. Samuel’s is one of my fiancé’s favorite places to dine and for some reason I hadn’t been. Now that I’ve been, we will be making this a regular spot. For appetizers we ordered the truffle fries and the brussel sprouts. They were both cooked to perfection and exploding with flavor. If you liked those items at CKB when it was open, then you’ll love these. For entrees we had the steak and hot chicken sandwich. Both were phenomenal. The menu prices are extremely reasonable. In fact, I think the prices are a tad low given the high quality of the product. If you haven’t checked out this gem, you’re missing out.”

“My husband & I went to Lyles earlier Today for the first time. Shannon was our bartender/server & she took excellent care of us! Started out by introducing herself & told us the specials & recommendations. We opted for the Cheesy shrimp poppers as our appetizer & split a whole loaded Stromboli. Wow! Everything was hot, fresh & delicious! The lady from the kitchen (sorry I didn’t get her name) knew we were splitting the strom & brought it out to us on separate plates. “We enjoyed a birthday celebration for a party of 12, staff was very friendly and accommodating from the hostesses upon our arrival, to our amazing server Rosa, and the manager, Jonathan, who visited our table. Rosa was quick and efficient, got our drinks out quickly and kept them full. She took our orders quickly, too. Our food was excellent, and brought to our table hot. It was a great experience, especially for a large party during the busiest time of day! Thank you!”

“Can go there for a qucik great crispy sub that is made right in front of you. You can add whatever you like to your sandwich, choose diffrent types of bread, or wether to have it toasted or not. If you don't like chips you can subsitute it for 2 cookies or even a bowl of delicious soup. If you are supplying for a large group of people you can get one of their great party trays. You can get whatever type of bread you'd like then put which type of meat. Then they give you a tray with all types of sides you love on your sandwich.”

“Best pizza place in Evansville. Huge selection of pizzas (usually about 12) that you can try by the slice to see if you like them. They also have a buffet available to try a variety of pieces. From their ranch to their works pizza, I’ve never had a bad slice. A locally owned favorite since the 90’s. They just added large TV’s in the back with Sunday Ticket too and now have a lot more seating available. They’re open on Sundays too and have 5 beers on tap and bottled as well. I highly reccomend.”

I booked the event room .. explain Arrival time was 815-830.. so when guest started to arrive at exactly 815 the room was not ready at all .. every table was filled with dishes. I had approx 20 people five or take I told them on the phone that morning.. they finally got 2 sets of 2 tables that comfortably was set up in the main dining room as 4 to table they crammed 10 chairs to these tables.. when I asked for another set of tables to be cleaned our server wouldn’t speak to me but rolled her eyes so I went to talk to someone else.. when they approached her with me she told me that she was my server. And she still has not started cleaning tables instead she told me there were 20 chairs total at those tables.. I had to get upset and told her we were crammed and everyone unhappy and told her I wanted 2 more tables cleaned.. PLEASE!!! Finally she did with an attitude and goin so slow like it killed her.. she was prob 25yr old .. then she sat out on her phone and I had to get up and get her if we needed drinks or anything. It would been a great night if had a good server.”

“We live in Columbus Indiana and go to the local Culvers a few times a month but we were in Evansville Saturday night and as we were heading back to Columbus we hadn't eaten so we drove through this Culvers. Everything was pretty decent except there was an abundance of salt on my onion rings. Who puts salt on onion rings??? I had to scrape it off just to eat them. Is it just me or has fast food service gone in the toilet the last few years?”

“Always a favorite stop when in town! It's been around for many years and you could say it's the home of the original "smash burger" you hear almost everywhere when a new burger joint opens in todays world. Thin, crispy edges, loaded with flavor cooked pretty much right in front of you as the flat top is a mere 10 feet away from the counter. The shoe string fries are always a hit and complement the burgers nicely! Top it off with their ice cream (mint chocolate chip of course!) and you will be glad you followed my advice!”

Enough food for left over lunch tomorrow:) we are die hard support you local small business believers, and I'll tell ya what! This is one that will continue to have out business! (I didn't rate the atmosphere due to not dining in, but hubby said everyone was super nice when he picked up our food). Next time we will sit in! If yall want some actual real food, you can taste and smell the smoke, friendly, fast and well worth every penny??? GO EAT HERE AND SUPORRT THIS PLACE! I have known the family for years and at their other store and restaurant was the only place I could ever find or get pupusas in town. They opened a dedicated restaurant across the street from their store while I was still in Louisville. Since I moved back I have been back for lots of pupusas but this time… I tried their Pan con Pollo. It was freaking amazing. I didn’t know how to eat it but eventually I figured out a way and wow my taste buds were salsa dancing. My friend ordered their combo with two pupusas, a Birria taco and side of rice and beans. Everything was delicious and very affordable. Large portions, great prices, friendly and fast service. Check em out!”

If you have something to celebrate, or to cry about, or you just want to sit in silence and scroll on your phone with a nice drink, this is the place for that. I ordered the Veggie Skillet with German fries. The skillet also includes biscuits and gravy. I passed on the gravy. The portions are ample and seasoned perfectly. Our server was attentive, the place was clean, and the meals arrived quickly. We'll go back there again for sure.”

We had beef stroganoff, it was delicious and hit the spot, noodles ? ? smothered in gray, chunks of tender roast beef, and bake mushrooms ? ? in perfect balance. Came with garlic toast which helped get every bit of the gravy off the bowl.The place is charming with hardwood detail, German art, flags, craftsmanship and engineering simplicity ? it felt like being there.Parking: We were able to park right in front, but I would expect that is rare. Many restaurants on this street, so parking is tight.”

“It’s a great place to eat .. I will say I was unhappy with service.. I booked the event room .. explain Arrival time was 815-830.. so when guest started to arrive at exactly 815 the room was not ready at all .. every table was filled with dishes. I had approx 20 people five or take I told them on the phone that morning.. they finally got 2 sets of 2 tables that comfortably was set up in the main dining room as 4 to table they crammed 10 chairs to these tables.. when I asked for another set of tables to be cleaned our server wouldn’t speak to me but rolled her eyes so I went to talk to someone else.. when they approached her with me she told me that she was my server. And she still has not started cleaning tables instead she told me there were 20 chairs total at those tables.. I had to get upset and told her we were crammed and everyone unhappy and told her I wanted 2 more tables cleaned.. PLEASE!!! Finally she did with an attitude and goin so slow like it killed her.. she was prob 25yr old .. then she sat out on her phone and I had to get up and get her if we needed drinks or anything. It would been a great night if had a good server.”
