I usually love going to Comfort, but I went with my family to their Mother's Day brunch today where they charged $35 a seat. It definitely was not worth it. The food was just ok. Service was done by a lovely girl but she really didn't do much and then we were charged a 20% gratuity at the end. When we got there nothing was set up for our party and we had made reservations. We had to track down extra seats and silverware ourselves. It was just not up to standards.

This place used to be good. They were known for good portions, the size we got tonight was a joke. Now it’s fallen off badly. The service is terrible. We had to ask for a drink refill three times and never got it. They overcharged me for my meal and then blamed me for it. They said I was wrong but I know I wasn’t. I know how a POS works. Old managers were good, new ones are terrible. Plus I’ve heard the owners are terrible people.

Place is quite nice. I am pretty sure I ordered the wrong thing, but everyone else had great things to say about their meal.

There is clearly a lot of quality put into food, services and atmosphere. I am more than satisfied with each meal I've had. Hosts and servers are very engaging and effectively responsive. Food and drink is always presentable and delicious and served in a timely way. The ascetics are also quie pleasing and enhance the experience.

We were in town and seen this place had great reviews and wanted to try it , honestly I’m not sure why it does, the food was ok but not worth the price at all, the waitress was really sweet but she literally disappeared constantly, we barely saw her, forgot stuff off our order, they were outta a couple things we had ordered which was fine, can understand, we didn’t get bread till halfway through our meal because I asked for it since we hadn’t received it, I would completely understand if they were busy but they weren’t, we went 2 hours before close cause then I started to think we went to late. I’m a server and have been 5 years so I give the benefit of a doubt but it just wasn’t that good, we wouldn’t go back.

Very mid. Service was slow. Slow to ask for drinks/meal, and had to ask for the complementary bread after 40 minutes of sitting. All of my parties food arrived cold and the food was bland. For the expensive price we expected better. Not worth it.

The closest thing to “down home” cooking in Evansville.
