The food was delicious and Service was wonderful! I had a breakfast sandwich with mushrooms instead of a meat choice and it was very good! My husband had biscuits and gravy and it was good

We came here late afternoon the weekend of the eclipse. Atmosphere was upscale / Gaston pub menu. Our party of four ordered the Greek meatballs, Porkbelly street tacos, Steak sandwich, and burger and fries. Highly recommend the Cheese Grits as side. Drinks included a Bloody Mary and a couple of craft beers. Everything was delicious, service was attentive and engaging, atmosphere was nice at late afternoon. Recommend you try this one.

My husband and I were looking for a local unique place to have dinner and chose The Copper House. The reviews were really good. So, we figured, it would be a great choice. I ordered the pimento cheese burger, medium well with grits. My husband ordered the cheese steak and grits. My burger was well done and dry. The Pimento cheese was flavorless and almost non existent. My husband's cheese steak was very bland and underwhelming. The grits were great and the bacon on the burger was amazing, though. Maybe they could open up a place called grits N bacon? Then, we were hoping that they were going to blow our socks off with their banana pudding cheese cake. Since it is $9.50 per slice. It was probably the worst cheese cake I have ever experienced. If you have ever been curious and tasted banana pudding baby food, then you can accurately imagine what this cheese cake tasted like. It was so bad we sent it back. The coffee was great though. I did try their lavender lemon drop martini. It was exactly as described. Maybe a tad too much lavender. Overall, it was a nice setting. However, the food was just subpar. We will not be back. It is a shame that unless a place is an absolute nightmare, people won't post reviews. This allows the restaurant to better itself and make adjustments. In this case, the adjustments need to happen in the kitchen starting with the chef.

We had lunch at Copper House and we enjoyed the open and inviting atmosphere. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. The kids cleaned off their plates. The bacon jam and loaded French fries were a hit! We plan on coming back. Thank you!

Had a reservation for Easter Brunch and we were seated promptly. It took a little bit before our waitress greeted us, but it was a holiday. She was attentive and friendly. The kitchen was a little slow, but the food was very good! Will be back.

I never give all 5 stars in a review. I believe everyone needs room for improvement. This visit was our first visit and it was excellent! I have thought of that margarita ever since.

This iss a great, local spot for dinner. We ate with a group of kids and adults. Server was friendly, helpful, and food was delicious, especially the bacon jam and toast! Nice change of pace from a chain restaurant after a long day of junior tennis!

Great food at a fair price. Very comfortable atmosphere. It was around a 45 minute wait for our food, it was fresh and really delicious. Our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. Will be back for certain.

Best dining experience I have had in a long time. Being gluten free can be challenging and Andrew took care of all my needs. Ordering off an extensive menu was so hard because of all the fabulous choices! Drinks and appetizers were outstanding. Cannot wait to come back. Run don't walk to dine at this amazing establishment.

You need to get down to the Copper House ASAP! The building is an old saloon with an updated chic interior. There is copper running throughout, true to the name. I was promptly greeted and chose to sit at the bar. The bartender was quick to ask if I wanted to sample some local beers, which I did, but did not order one. I ordered the fried goat cheese App, and they were rich, but the blackberry sauce added umami and sweetness. Now, the main star was the shrimp and grits. This is hands-down the BEST dish I have eaten while in Evansville. The Tasso ham added salt, and there was a good amount of heat.
