Had the gluten free French toast with caramel and pecans. It was awesome. Diner was clean even though it was busy, and service was great. Definitely going back next time we're in town

Food is flavorful and good quality across menu. Prices are reasonable and lower than most places which highly inflated their prices after the pandemic. Portions are good sized, but not huge. Service is friendly and attentive.Wheelchair accessibility: No step up to enter and plenty of free-standing tables for ease of seating and wheelchair access.

We went in for breakfast and everything from the moment we walked in, until we left was pleasant. The food was great, the server was knowledgeable and friendly, and the overall atmosphere was warm.

I've visited Friendship Diner a couple of times and have had quite varied experiences. My first visit was excellent—both the atmosphere and the breakfast were exactly what you'd hope for from a cozy local diner. I left that day already planning my next visit. However, my most recent experience this morning didn't quite live up to the initial high standard. I ordered the breakfast sampler, which includes 2 sausage links, ham, hashbrowns, 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon, and biscuits with gravy. Unfortunately, the food arrived lukewarm, and the biscuits felt as if they might have been microwaved, losing that fresh-from-the-oven taste. The overall flavor was also a bit bland compared to last time.On the brighter side, the service remained impressive. My waitress was wonderfully nice and attentive, which helped make up for the less-than-stellar meal.I'm hoping today was just an off day for the kitchen. Given how great my first visit was, I'm willing to return and give Friendship Diner another shot, hopeful for a return to the quality I initially experienced.

Everything we’ve ordered has been great. We had lived here a fewer years without discovering this restaurant. After one visit it became our favorite in town. The staff is friendly and caring. Special mention to Alicia. She is a stand out waitress. ?My husband’s go to is a Reuben SandwichMine is the Hot Brown (best I’ve even had)Their fried chicken is really great too.

First time eating here, probably the last. The chicken fried steak was great, otherwise I would've given the food a 2. My "german" potatoes were regular dinner shredded potatoes, which tasted frozen...really no taste...then they piled some brown onions on top. They were gross, so I put them aside. I asked for eggs over medium. Granted, over medium is hard to get at a dinner, and this was no exception! The eggs just ran all over the place, they were over easy. I didn't eat them at all, grossed me out. I also had a couple of pieces of bacon which were cooked right. Crisp, yet not burnt! The biscuit I had was hard on some ends... My waitress was the nicest, happiest and most friendly waitress I think I've ever encountered!! She was great! Sad I won't be seeing her again!!I'm a good cook, so I'm hard on places, if it's not better than what I make, no way will I go back!!
